  1. ^Are you biridhish? No. CL, I can't vote for Cameron while I am sober.
  2. NGONGE: Juxa, it's not about Burcaawis. It's about people from the NORTH (look at Paragon there). Stop right there. I consider reer Xarardheere as gob as they come. To marry them would be an honour. Originally posted by Juxa: Ngonge, Paragon hails from qabiil wadaado ah, indeed i consider them harmless. Thank you.
  3. Hang dignity and integrity, Lily. It all starts with blood. The rest any man can have. It's the blood and good breeding that is essential.
  4. NASSIR ignore their criticism as it has no merit. I am telling you the young gentleman has a very good singing voice. And the curis is excellent.
  5. 'Caashaqu wadaad maleh, walaaloowna kuma haro...' Amina C/llaahi soo ma ahayn horta? PS: Hargeysa is a beautiful SOMALI city. BTW the cameraman should be sacked. Dizzying. And switch off his mobile?
  6. ^Even for labour it's a waste unless things change radically. Who are you voting for. For me it's anything but Tories.
  7. Lol. Funny. How about ninkii inta musqusha galey ka dib markuu xaajadiisii dhamaystey macawiistiisii ka talaabsadey, ee inta soo qaadey dariiqa la joogsadey ee naadiyey: waar macawiis yeey ka maqan tahayeey. Dumarkii dariiqa marayey ayaa ku giggle gareeyey deedna wuu ku xanaaqey. Isma ogee illeen waa tiisi.
  8. They are onto Miliband. Apparently he should have made a statement immediately to show his support. Rumour has it that all this is benefiting Mandelson. If things continue as they are, he (Mandelson) might have a tighter grip on party strategy, hence have more influence. The Tories pray that Brown never gets replaced until the election time. They fear if labour's leadership changes, that that might unexpectedly boost their support - a new face a new hope. But as long as Brown is at the helm, it's a downward spiral. They are down 3 points already in the last few days. G'luck with labour. I'm with the Greens this time.
  9. Thanks NASSIR. If I may ask, where can it be purchased? Ismail Ali Ismail is the author is the Yibr of Las Burgabo too, right?

With no achievements to speak of, the current TFG leadership, like all previous administrations, attempts to cling on by shutting down the process as its term comes to a close. In all fairness though, this is not unique to the TFG, nor to Somalis, but is a condition that afflicts most African and Arab states with weak constitutional institutions. ^In all fairness, Mintid, the current TFG has spent far too much time on reconciliation. Whatever has a start must come to an end. Sheikh Sharif and his administration have made a great deal of effort to bring the opposition to the table, and eventually into the fold, but that didn't work. 'Time' for conciling with those who oppose the government, was the premise upon which the TFG has neglected to fulfil it's duty, which it must now undertake candidly. To govern or not to govern, that is the question.

  15. Well at least it's a pretty sight. The country's best dress is snow. She's a beauty with snow on her - Britain, I mean.
  16. War jiraaba cakkaaruu iman. Kolleey waxaan aniga ogahay in Koora Tuunshe xog sugan hayo. Website-yadana weey iska kala qaattaan wararka oo maleh war qaadyo kala madax bannaan. Wararka ay soo tabiyaanna inyar baa hubaal ah loo xaqiijin karayaa, inta kale se waa warar naqshadeeysan. The identity of those who committed this crime is not so important as long as there is a thorough investigation. They were from 'there' and no they 'weren't', should not be what is most valued. Wherever the criminals hail from, a crime has been committed. What is of interest to law and order is that those who committed the are brought in front of a court of law and justice served. PS: ThankfulSP's punctual presence in this thread, and commentary, only points to his poisonous intent to create a dichotomy between Puntlanders from all walks. He defends this and attacks that only to divide and not to unite. It's a sickening tendency that we may have to endure - unless he is warned off.

  19. Fresh Warning Of Heavy Snow Across UK Tuesday, December 29 11:35 am © Sky News 2009 Heavy snow is forecast for many parts of the UK today, with drivers being urged to take extra care on icy roads as people return to work after Christmas. Skip related content The snow was expected to be at its worst over Wales, with 25cm predicted to fall on hilly areas. Snow showers in the West Country and across the Midlands, north-east England and Scotland were also on the cards. Between 5cm and 10cm could fall across much of south Wales, Herefordshire and Shropshire. It would be the heaviest snow to hit the area this year as a band of rain moving up from the south hits a mass of cold air lingering over the region. The Welsh Assembly Government said contingency plans were in place to keep main roads open in extreme weather. Its stock of salt for motorways was available as a reserve supply to help local councils grit roads, a spokeswoman said. Inverness airport in the Scottish Highlands was closed because of the bad weather, while train services to and from Glasgow were hit. The Met Office said that in north-east England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, many roads could remain icy after chilly conditions overnight. Sky News weather presenter Lisa Burke said: "Wales could see 5-10cm of snowfall today on low levels; 20-30cm on the hills. Drifting snow is also likely on the hills as the easterly wind is strong. "This afternoon, the snow will affect central and southern Ireland, Wales, the Midlands and east to East Anglia. "Racing at Leopardstown could well be affected by the weather again - on Monday it was fog, today it could be a mixture of rain/sleet/snow. "On Wednesday, the snow showers will be more scattered with northern areas having some to contend with. "It won't be such a bitterly cold start across Scotland on Wednesday. Recently, temperatures have been as low as -16C. It will be more like -1C on Wednesday morning." Last week's snowfalls mainly affected eastern and southern England, bringing travel chaos to airports and roads. Forecasters have already warned of freezing weather for the New Year. Temperatures are expected to plunge to -3C in most of England and Wales on Thursday night (New Year's Eve) and -8C in Scotland, with widespread snow showers also predicted. New Year's Day will also be chilly, with the northern half of Britain struggling to get above freezing during the day, while London will do well to reach 4C. ---------- I think a pass on this one would be nice. We're no longer excited about snow. Once is fun, twice kinda OK, but thrice? That's taking the mickey.
