Allaha u fududeeyo wiilka. I will sign the petition since I am not in London. How about your long standing genetic disorder? Has anyone diagnosed you yet? No? Well, I will. You show symptoms of a Type D trace of Lackey-ist disorder, which of course causes what is called 'persistent delirium' or in other words, BS peddling .

Fadeexad Diblomasiyadeed oo Shalay Ka Dhacday Madaarka Hargeysa Hargeysa(Geeska) Des 23, 2009 -Fadeexad diblomaasiyadeed nooceeda tii ugu saraysay ayaa shalay ka dhacday madaarka Hargeysa, ka dib markii weftigii ka socday dalka Kenya lagu qaabilay calan aan ahayn calankoodii. Waxa shalay magaalada Hargeysa socdaal ku yimid wefti uu hoggaaminayo guddoomiye ku xigeenka baarlamaanka Kenya Mudane Faarax Macalin. Weftigaas oo si diiran loogu soo dhaweeyay madaarka Hargeysa, ayaa waxa soo dhawayntooda ka dhacday fadeexad martidii madasha joogtay badankeeda ku abuurtay naxdin kuna noqotay amakaag. Weftiga ayaa markii loo gelbiyay dhinaca qolka martida ee madaarka Hargeysa, waxa la fadhiisiyay kursi loogu tallo galay, kaas oo halkii la dhinac dhigi lahaa calanka dalkiisa ee Kenya la dhinac dhigay calanka dalka Itoobiya. Hase yeeshe markiiba si deg deg ah ayaa calankii Itoobiya looga qaaday madashii weftiga lagu soo dhaweeyay, iyadoo ay sidaas amreen masuuliyiin Somaliland ah oo madasha ku sugnaa, kuwaas oo dareemay khaladka diblomaasiyadeed ee dhacay. “Waar miyaad iska soo qaadeen bahalka miyaydaan eeginba.” Sidaas waxa isagoo khaladka dhacay ka damqaday yidhi mid ka mid ahaa masuuliyiintaas. Guddoomiye ku xigeenka baarlamaanka Kenya iyo masuuliyiinta Somaliland oo ay ka mid ahaayeen shirguddoonka golaha wakiiladu midna ma soo hadal qaadin khaladka diblomaasiyadeed ee dhacay, laakiin guddoomiye ku xigeenka baarlamaanka Kenya ayaa markii calanka la qaadayay wejigiisa laga dareemay sida uu uga xumaaday waxa dhacay. Inkastoo ay ahayd khalad si dabiici ah u dhacay oo u muuqday inaan loogu tallo gelin lagana wada xumaaday sida muuqatay, haddana waxa hubanti ah inay tahay fadeexad, waxaana ka mid tahay waxyaabaha turqa xidhiidhka dalalka dunida. Hay’adaha qaban qaabada iyo soo dhawayna wufuudda u qaabilsan dawlada Somaliland, waxa waajib ku ah inay si degen uga diyaar garoobaan qaabka ay u waajahayaan soo dhawaynta wufuudda dalka soo booqanaysa, taas oo haddii loo dhiibo dad aan xil kas ahayn halis gelin karta xidhiidhka dalka soo booqanaya iyo danta uu ka leeyahay Somaliland. Dhawaan, ayaa waxa xidhiidhka dalalka Suuriya iyo Faransiiska halis geliyay calan khaldamay, ka dib markii Madaxweynaha Suuriya oo booqanayay Faransiiska lagu soo dhaweeyay calankii hore ee ciraaq hore oo ay isku muuqaal dhow yihiin calanka suuriya, taas oo kicisay xaraarada xidhiidhka siyaasadeed ee labada dal. Qashiin weeye wuxu. Far iyo gacan maxaa meesha keeney? Ba'ah!

Meesha muttacallimiin ayaa isugu yimi. The sort of intellectual cadre fit to establish and properly govern a higher educational institution. I am glad the event turned out to be a success. It's a positive leap for education in Sanaag and Somalia in general. Thanks for the topic, King Sasa.

to be, or not to be: that is the question: Jir ama ha jirin: waa kobteey suaali joogtaaye Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer Ma waxaa jid rooneyd jikraha maanka kuu jiifa The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Jugta waraf fallaadhiyo darxumo jeedal kugu jiida Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, Amba jilba dhigasha aad dulmiga mowjaddii jebiso And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep; Jamac ula jihaaddoo kolkaa dhimasho jiif raacdo No more; and by a sleep to say we end Juuq li’ina gama’doo kolkaa jiradu kaa guurto The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks Oon laxaw jirinin laabta iyo kuman halaag jooga That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation damaq intuu jiir dugaalshee jalamsi ruugaaye Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep; Ee aad jecleyd joogsigood gabaxna jiifkeede

Brilliant effort. Indeed why not Romeo and Juliet in Somali when we already have it in Swahili, thanks to Julias Nyerere. Originally posted by NGONGE: quote:Originally posted by *Faheema: OK let's try and see how this works.... "A Rose by any other name would smell as sweet" Ubax mid aan magac kale lahayn, miyuu urtiisu udgoon'an Now try the following in Somali: to be, or not to be: that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep; No more; and by a sleep to say we end The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep; To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub; For in that sleep of death what dreams may come When we have shuffled off this mortal coil, Must give us pause: there's the respect That makes calamity of so long life; For who would bear the whips and scorns of time, The oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely, The pangs of despised love, the law's delay, The insolence of office and the spurns That patient merit of the unworthy takes, When he himself might his quietus make With a bare bodkin? who would fardels bear, To grunt and sweat under a weary life, But that the dread of something after death, The undiscover'd country from whose bourn No traveller returns, puzzles the will And makes us rather bear those ills we have Than fly to others that we know not of? Thus conscience does make cowards of us all; And thus the native hue of resolution Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought, And enterprises of great pith and moment With this regard their currents turn awry, And lose the name of action. - Soft you now! The fair Ophelia! Nymph, in thy orisons Be all my sins remember'd. I reckon this will sound even better in Somali. That'll be tough NGONGE but it's worth taking a shot at it. Faheema, in the field of poetry in translation, there is no such thing as literal, word by word translation. One is allowed to contextualise the meaning of the original work so as to derive discernible understanding. Let me see if I can tackle a few line in NGONGE's suggested poem horta. Why not?

I do a 24 hours past coverage on the terms 'Somali' and 'Somalia' on googlenews search engine every now and then and this article appeared a few days ago. What I realised is that The Times is somewhat doing a series of articles on Somalis as of late. And that their coverage could have been inspired by the Sun's earlier coverage. But all in all, The Times' coverage on Somalis - despite the evocative headings - is surprisingly 'somewhat' less negative than previous ones. -

Heh! Rumsfeld's Strategic Support Group (of the DIA) is still active in Somalia? Who knew that would be possible. I guess the DIA are trying hard to counter the CIA's heavy involvement in anti-AS push, eh? Hmmm. Battleground of the 'Services' it is then.

In the picture, the person concerned seems very contemplative about something (a mental preparation) or rather it could all be down to eye squinting as a result of the strength of the camera flash. -

It's a religious postulate that permits a man to make his offspring as many as he wishes, if Allah grants him the favour. I think polygamy is important and has its suitable places in the Muslim world. A woman should have no say about a man's preferences, whether he raises one child or one hundred. Women are in natural disposition a nag about any and everything but that should be ignored. Listening too much of such nagging will only prove unproductive in the end. And thus I welcome this club - it should not have been a club but shamefully it has become thus. [edit] forgot to say thanks for the link, Serenity. -
