  1. Femme-Fatale & Phil, You know I am still down for the underdog like my man Faarax here and I know its really funny because every Cabdi & Caasho are saying that but act differently unlike me because I see myself as a loyal man which is the main reason why I got a soft spot in my Naughty but Nice heart for Faarax & his beloved Xaliimo. I will continue the Story Insha Allah but this time I will put few twists and turns in it just to get you two off my tired back but would you please stop reading between the lines because you two imagine things that aren't even there..Isku Xishooda Yaakhe Nooh. Peace, Love & Unity.

LoooooooooooooooL, Naaaaah Bro, I am as Somali as they get but I admire Chinese people and the way they go about their daily lives after all we are talking about a thousands of years of civilization here mate and I am lucky to have read a couple of Chinese books but translated in English of course and one of them books is Chinese Proverbs and the other one is the Autobiography of Chairman Mao Tse-Tung which is one of my all time favourite books. "God Gives The Nuts, But He Doesn't Crack Them" Chinese Proverb. Peace, Love & Unity.

  5. I don't have a Somali Proverbs but I can give you Chinese Proverbs if you want and here are some of them. 1-Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. 2-He who asks is a fool for 5 minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever. 3-A tree falls the way it leans. 4- A wise man hears one word and understands two. 5- in baiting a mousetrap with cheese, always leave room for the mouse. That is all I can remember now but if you are interested in some more than let me know and I will flood the place with Chinese Proverbs. Peace, Love & Unity.
  6. Hong Kong - Girls are being rented out for $36 a day in China to bachelors who cannot face going home to their mothers without a girlfriend, a news report said on Wednesday. Marriage agencies in Liuzhou in southern China's Guangxi province are renting out the girlfriends to migrant workers returning home to their families for the Chinese New Year holiday in February. They are doing a brisk business from men who cannot face being pestered by their mothers back home for not having a girlfriend, the Hong Kong edition of the China Daily reported. Women charge an average of $36 a day but the practice has been criticised by some people as a violation of Chinese traditions and morals, the newspaper said. PS.and you thought you've seen and heard it all before.
  7. Farxiyo Fanaxleey aka Femme-Fatale, The bull is far from a sexist but my theory is most women are heavier than their skinny male counterparts, which is why the Bull doesn't like to have women on its back because the poor thing can't even move let alone kick which in the end results the Bull's early demise after it breaks its spine because of the unbearable heavy burden on its back. . Peace, Love & Unity. Originally posted by Desert Dawn: BOB where do you get these wacky q's from. i got them from the Macedonian Daily Star Newspaper which only costs 1 Lire. . Peace, Love & Unity.
  8. rokko, I didn't know you were into Cricket mate! Yeah, it was good to see people came out in droves as it was all for the good cause which is always a noble thing to do. Talking about Cricket, I was watching the test series between England and South Africa and I was impressed with South African fast bowler Makhaya Ntini who took 6 wickets and then there was Jacques Kallis the S.A all rounder who scored runs at will and helped South Africa avoid a white wash because they lost the first test and they were on the verge of losing the second match before they got a lucky break when the match was declared draw because of a bad lighting but on third match England were simply outclassed as wickets kept falling at an alarming rate and in the end the first inning Englad were 168 all out! Can you believe that? Peace, Love & Unity.
  9. I know some of you would say Roger Milla of Cameroon while some might say George Weah of Liberia as he is the first and the only African player thus far to have been chosen as Fifa World Player & European Player back in 95 but my vote goes to none other than the left footed magician, the ball wizard with a ponytail. the first and the only player to have been African Player Of The Year in three consecutive years, the player that the Great Maradona called "A True Number 10" and Pele called him "He's the left footed Pele"! Ladies & Gentlemen, I am talking about Abedi Ayew "Pele" of Ghana. Peace, Love & Unity.
  10. Yeah,Love is Definitely True and I am Lucky To Be In Love With A Malaika That Loves Me Back More Than I Could Ever Love Myself. Peace, Love & Unity.
  11. If only I could make it to a land of embraced inspiration. If I had one chance to get there,I'd take it. I don't want to be fake,I know it'll happen if its fate. and even if it doesn't,I'll still create what I create. day to day,I'll face it face to face, my dreams will never be taken away. poetry isn't who I am but at times it can be. it flows through me and helps me express things I can't express in life. things I cant confess except when they're put in a set of lines. it helps me get my points across, helps me cope with loss. helps me explore new places and reminds me of where I've been to. places & faces in pictures and things that I've seen. spoken words help me escape from the painful reality. I cope with hurt with my pen & pads' help. ink helps me tell the paper what I've felt. most of all, poetry helps me cope with myself. Peace, Love & Unity.
  12. Nice 1 My Sister, now let me tell you how i feel . She's what gets me through some days, my guardian Angel of protection and my dreams of us together forging forward to a life of perfection I am sure you and I are destined for each other my cockiness to confront my ill comfort is at times my love's blunder I wondered why i didn't not ask you to marry me a long time ago a chance to exhibit my true love that beckons from deep inside excited expectations for this moment have arrived while awkwardness and butterflies still reside pride can't hide because I Love You Malaika no one can match what your angelic smile can do it brightens up the sky and lights my soul it ignites internal flames so I succumb to a stricken d@mb, truth speaks my eyes cry and my heart weeps only you can satisfy my needs because it is you that I Love Malaika. Peace, Love & Unity.

  14. Obeying my creator Allah (S.W) and his eternal words purify my soul with the knowledge of my Religion, erasing from my mind the unsatisfied emptiness, that materialistic flesh could not and would never control. joy inside surpasses understanding, it feels light and free, living this side of the fence right now Two Thousand and Five, its where i want to be. living under the righteous law of Islam, will only bring stability and order to my life, putting Allah (S.W) first is what I have chosen, following my spirit,i can see the unseen without blind eyes. building on a firm foundation, unseen,it's hidden from our faces. I have set a simple rule for my life to follow what pleases Allah (S.W) is 100% pure faith. riding the horse of righteousness, having my creator by my side, my health and a family and friends that not only adore me but Love me a religious girl that I want to make my loving wife and share the rest of my days with so we could expand each other's horizons remind each other about Allah (S.W) pray for each other & pray that we may never part because we love each other in the name of Allah that is my resolution for this new year. Peace, Love & Unity.
  15. SomeAlien, I don't intend to be rude or sound too cocky as i don't know more than you or anybody else does as it is only Allah (S.W) who is all knowing but I think what you should've said is that most Prophets (Peace Be Upon Them) mentioned in the Holy Qur'an were from Isreal because Judaism is the religion practiced by the Jews and Hebrew is only a Language so there was NEVER a prophet who was a Jew as they were all Muslims but you are right most of them were from Israel. Now, back to your Question: After all the things that he has done for them, after all the blessings that he's bestowed upon the masses of Israel still Almighty Allah (SW)cursed (Lacna) the Jews and promised them nothing but Hell (Allahuma Najjinaa) so that alone should give you an indication of how I feel about Jews and anything they stand for considering that I am a practicing Muslim person. Peace, Love & Unity.
  16. Can you list some of the things that you believe will do a world of good for all the citizens of the world but hasn't been invented yet? Peace, Love & Unity.
  17. Paradigm, Do you ever wonder what life would be like if you'd had enough oxygen at birth? a sharp tongue doesn't necessarily mean you have a keen mind and to prove my theory answer these questions and if you are successful then i will book an appointment with your consultancy firm on shukaansi issues, Do we have a deal then? 1-If you always take time to stop and smell the roses, won't you sooner or later inhale a Bee? 2-is it better to have loved and lost than to have paid for it and not liked it? 3-how come rodeos never have a cow riding events for women? 4-do women computer users receive Fe-mail? 5-is smoking actually good for you, because it cures weight problems (Eventually…). 6-is it better to be looked over than to be over looked? 7-if chicken meat is called chicken, why is sheep's meat called lamb or cow's meat called beef? 8-there is a CD called "The Worst of Amanda" if you bought this and didn't like it, can you take it back for a refund? 9-why did they call warm water, Luke warm? did some one named Luke discover it? 10-why is it that most women waste part of their lives attempting to display qualities which they don't even posses? Bonus One. Does the man who knows nothing and knows he knows nothing know more than the man who knows nothing and doesn’t know he knows nothing? Peace, Love & Unity.

  21. Everybody I know says that I look like Idi Amin Dada's cousin and I once had a Somali Girl turn me down because she said "Uuff,You're Not Somali" and she almost beat the heck out of me with her Dacas then there was this Sudanese guy asking me if I am from South of Sudan and later on when we got to know each other he started to tease me and say that he looks more Somali than me that bothered me a whole lot so i started speaking Somali to him and all he could say was "What? What? What? Speak English Man, Come On" then i got up and said to him "Don't you ever say that you are more Somali than me Mother Sucker, You bloody John Grang and Alek Wek look alike" And that is my story Ladies & Gentlemen... Peace, Love & Unity.
  22. You scored a 50% on the "How Somalian are you?" Quizie! 115 people had a score lower than yours 462 people had a score higher than yours 120 people had a score the same as yours. Peace, Love & Unity. PS. i admit most of my answers were 'NO' but one made me laugh hard..about the mother and daughter going to a wedding, i have never seen my mom or sisters go to a wedding in my entire life...strange huh?
  23. Originally posted by ManOfWisdom: Have u noticed that we are better than the Arabs? Sayid Mohamed Abdulle Hassan said: "Aliyow don't complain Arabs are womanish!" They hate us and they are not good at all! What is ur opinion? How can you expect the other people to 'LOVE' you when you don't even love yourself? Sayyid Muhammad had his reasons to say what he said, so what are yours? Arabs, are the people of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) and every Muslim should refrain from saying negative things against them for the sake of him, some Somalis are far worse than Arabs in fact they are far worse than any other creature in the whole world as they commit crimes that even animals are ashamed of, have you ever seen an animal raping another pregnant animal? Well, Somalis did that and still continue to do just that as they rape and murder pregnant women every single day and you have the nerve to say we are better than Arabs. Somalis say "Ninkii tiisa daryeela tu kale kudari kara" first you need to put your house in order then criticise others, Arabs have put their houses in order while you got no place to call home as the whole country is destroyed beyond repair and we are the only nation on earth who are all "REFUGEES" so act on your nick Mr ManofWisdon. Peace, Love & Unity.
  24. Originally posted by -Femme Fatale-: Quite a lovely and interesting story BOB. I am sad to see xaalimo falling under the fake and sinister charm of Farax---that guy is definelty smooth though. I cant believe she's laughing like a donkey over his lame puns and cringe worthy lines. come on man, let her enjoy herself because Faarax is a good guy the type of guy any girl would want to take her parents to...not only can he talk the talk he can also walk the walk..so give the brother a chance Miss FF . Peace, Love & Unity.
  25. They walk home slowly taking their time because they are both enjoying each other’s company even if they are not ready to admit that to each other. "so Xaliimo can I see you again?"asks Faarax. "I don't think that's such a good idea." replies Xaliimo, who is playing hard to get now. "you know what Miss Xaliimo, expect me to continue asking you out whenever I see you, be it in school or in the marker or I don’t care if you are with your Mom and Pops and not because I believe in that tried, tested and to some extent even trusted formula of "Persistent Pays" but I am the sort of guy who relishes challenges so I will keep on asking out until you finally say "Yes". says Faarax with confidence. "I admire your self confidence Faarax but you should prepare yourself for the ultimate test and make sure you last the pace" replies Xaliimo with a broad smile. "I don't mean to sound arrogant or anything like that but I wouldn't get to anywhere if I lacked confidence besides you can't fault the brother for trying, can you?" answers Faarax. "I like that" replies Xaliimo. They finally reach her home and after ringing the bell Faarax turns to Xaliimo looking straight into her and he says.. "you know Xaliimo, tonight was one of the greatest and certainly the most beautiful nights that I have ever had and it's all down to you because I was in the company of a great lady and I hope I made an impression on you just as much as you made a lasting one on me" "the greatest compliment I can give you is that I had a great time and I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard so you done yourself proud Mr Faarax" replies Xaliimo. "so you are saying I made an impression on you then, right?" asks Faarax impatiently. "Well, take that as a home work and try to figure it out, Good Night" she said. "by the way did I tell you that my Mom is also called ......?" says Faarax. "you are kidding right?" asks Xaliimo with an excitement. "nope, I am dead serious, in fact you two also share not only names but something far more deeper" replies Faarax. "Oh, that is wonderful to hear, I never knew that, would you like to have something to drink Faarax?" asks Xaliimo. "what do you have?" asks Faarax with a cheeky smile. "well, I was thinking you might like Pepsi, because I do" says Xaliimo. "I am just kidding, I am alright thanks, so you like Pepsi then huh?" asks faarax. "Yeah, what about you?" replies Xaliimo. "at this point in time, I like you, so can I have you?" asks Faarax. "too bad, no company in the world can ever come up with a product that is even close to my shadow" replies Xaliimo. "I like that, you are right indeed,Ok,Good Night Ms Xaliimo, see you around." She pulls the door open while Faarax is still standing and staring at her up until she turns back and says with a smile "Good Night" and she goes inside and closes, Faarax is so excited and he is struggling to contain himself because he knows he represented himself very well and he knows she liked him as she couldn’t stop smiling and laughing at every joke he told her and for the first time in a long while he was happy even if it was only few hours that he spent with a girl that he liked long before he knew her real name. as soon as she was inside Xaliimo immediately grabs the phone and goes to her room and starts dialling the number of her best friend because she have to tell her about Faarax even though it's well past midnight and there is every chance that her friend might be fast sleep as she wasn't feeling well tonight which is the main reason why she couldn't pitch to the party but still Xaliimo had to tell her girl about this guy who blew her away and left her yearning for me. To Be Continued..... Peace, Love & Unity.
