^^ He did his best. I wouldn't go as far as saying he dealt with it well though. It is very difficult to answer or speak to someone shouting at you in such a setting.

I don't how else the president and his team could have responded to someone repeatedly trying to interrupt the answer they were looking for.Maybe if these hecklers could have listened more than shouting they could have get the answers they were looking for instead of trying to make statements like the president said. The hecklers came across a bit annoying..If I was them I'll have set up a table outside with all the pictures and the facts the guy was talking about just so you come across as normal

  2. Raula,

Lets look at all my comments on this thread. The first response was to support Macalim point about the origin of the honorable lady. Some were even claiming her to be Somalilander.Because of the nature of the Somali politics where everyone wants to know qofkaa Waqolomaa I only stepped in to correct the misinformation people were reading here. Now you took issue with the word "Original sijui" which If I'm following your argument It meant that I was saying she was the only Sijui and that the rest of NFD are not Sijuis..Now the only reason I put that up there was in reference to the other thread where Apophis inner nag asserted that NFD folks were the only Kenyan-Somalis..I don't know why you choose to airily dismiss his anti-Somali sijui bile and still decided to fixate on my Viatu Mpira insult (which I'll address below).Despite all the evidence to the contrary you decided to side with him instead of approaching the whole thing with an open mind. Thanks to the wonders of the internet anyone can read up there what was said...So let us put his argument away and deal with this one.The original sijui was meant that she was a Sijui and not to compare her with anyone

Now to the issue of justice Mohamed who is a warrior and history bears fact to that.I was just pointing out to the Khatumo folks who were all celebrating in here that they should also celebrate that giant of a man.Did he refuse to take the pink card? Yes he did.Did he serve time for it, yes he he did.Anyone can read his words here and I quote "it is wrong for the Kenya Somali community as a whole to be inconvenienced and stigmatised due to the failure by the various government institutions and departments to do their work. This amounts to collective punishment reminiscent of the colonial day"..I will direct anyone who is interested to read the history of Kenyan-Somalis to read the article by the title RENDERING DIFFERENCE VISIBLE: THE KENYAN STATE AND ITS SOMALI CITIZENS by Emma Lochery*...No one needs my distorted history.Everyone can read there and do their own reserach. I'm sure our readers are mature minded people and they will decide what is fabricated on their own.

Admittedly, Yes the word viatu Mpira was meant as an insult and as you said I'll not have apologized to Nuune and Co..I couldn't resist the temptation of throwing that in instead of keeping it to myself. Yes that was a slip on my part and I sincerely apologized for it.This was an inner circle insult that I shouldn't have repeated.

  3. ^I'm cool, but lakiin when they come out with all the fangs you have to file their fangs with their own words...I never said anything bad about the honorable lady (Which by the way I was very pleased and happy for) and neither did I wanted to take the spot light away..I was just pointing another success story to Khatumo folks,...here comes my sijui sister and start throwing random accusations like we are on disneyworld internet forum and leaves....

  4. She is indeed pretty...I don't know If KhAtumo folks know but if I was them I will also celebrate justice Mohamed Ibrahim.A very brave man who was active during multiparty system emergence. He was actually the first Somali to give Moi and Yusuf Haji middle finger when they started that pink card for SomAlis..He was a active and detained with Raila And as fate had it he was the associate justice in Kenya highest court that decided the lAst election....like I was saying on this boArd SOmali Kenyans are not only the North eAstern only....congrats to both KhAtumo clan

  5. Obaa, I doubt this is a move against MogAdishu. People need to check their heart pulse and wedge their fingers into a strap for now before they make all this comments on here.. The honorable lady is a foreign affairs of Kenya a no less important country when it comes to Somalia politics but going by things I hear from close friends that hail from same city she is a different breed and not one easily swayed by clan politics..so no fear my brother, celebrate that a Somali woman reached a high place in Kenya history for the first time...there were many High profile Somali leaders before her and their role is limited when it came to change the course of Somali politics. Save your eyes from the Somali politics of foes and clan vanity in here..send some flowers to her new office and she will be a friend of Mogadishu..so don't beset yourself with bouts of fever lol..she will be a good professional leader...

Only redeeming thing about that video is the girl in blue. The two little Qashin's can't sing to save their lifes.

Haha..walle wa Qashiin...I quickly stoped the video...I think this two kids are the best I have seen so far in Somali rappers..

  9. University libraries are exclusive and I can see why they charge, but I think it is the government responsibility (of course through tax payers) to build at least one free library! They need to diffuse a broad knowledge to the average self-improving citizens with all the foreign aid they get. I’m glad you were interested and made some suggestions..See with all the fadhikutiriir we do here hahhaa (Me, Odweyne, Mintid, Ngonge, Xaaji and all others interested) I think we can mobilize something in the next Somaliland get- together functions that are held in our local communities...

  10. Saferz, there is no single library in the city of Hargeisa? that is shame for a city without intellectual life.Libraries are means of educating and refining communities. The government and volunteers are needed to advance the life of learning in that city.A sort of tax-supported initiatives are needed.Libraries are for the use and improvements of a society!
