    I mean it is hard to encourage those sort of ideas but people will always pull the permisability of religion.If she is a close friend you can talk to her but some people are dead set on what they want to do..I am assuming your friend is here in the west, how she going to navigate a polygamous marriage in the west with more responsibilities and tight life budget? It is a tough situation all can do is talk some sense to her and stay back

    Che, the issue of secession is the elephant in the room and it was not addressed and really don't know how they will be able to solve thAt in three months time..Somaliland will it stay in its course and no direct orders will be taken from Mogadishu.Things are the place they were since 1991.I don't understand how both sides can call this progresses if Anything this shows both sides are happy with the way the relation will be in the future...now what am interested to know is will Somaliland attend London meeting? I'm alsowaiting for our spin masters on both sides to come and dissect this direct fruitless meeting for us...for now it is business as usual and I think Amin arts captured it poignantly the game the public is mislead with..

    Che, of course Somalia government is the legitimate recognized country,you will be blind to deny that.The equal footing am talking about is two separate bodies signing clarification of their relation.Now everybody knows Somalia is the sole legitimate government of what was original PRE-1991 Somalia but Also somLiland is region that seceded now if they were not equal footing in their clarification of their relation , Somaliland will have been told to tow the line or get sanctioned.But no they are enticed with concessions and clarification points.See how we going in circles...sorry for spelling typing from phone

    Che, I didn't say they signed anything but if you believe Somali government represent SomLiland then I think we will be going in circles.I doubt a government that represents you will be expecting you to clarify your relation with them in an International setting.

    Che, yeah but my understanding is Somali government represent all Somalis except Somaliland or else they will not be signing stuff like two different countries.As fair as one can be they may not have control but the line has been drawn it is Somalis against Somaliland..if I wAs Hassan I will be careful signing stuff.No one won in this talks but they can come bite you back if your put your name next to a paper Sorry typing from a phone

    Unless my Somali is failing there is no progress as predicted.Both sides just signed same stuff as before and a photo-op..I can't see how they will be able to reAch a deal in a three months.One thing though Somalia is slowly signing stuff that can be used against them if they support groups that are Against SOmalilNd.These meetings is slowly giving Somaliland legitimacy and equal footing short of recognition.Somaliland basically didn't get what they wanted so is Somalia..who is the looser here?

    Carafat..its not fair to say Kenyan-Somalis are undermining the sovereignity of Somalia, if anything I think they want to Support the rebuilding of Somalia, but unfortunately the ugly clan politics rears its head...I think in this situation Kenyan government is wrong and unfair to the people she deems unfit to visit its country!
