  2. Alpha can you and your scripts stick to the topic of the thread. Thanks
  3. Narniah LOL@They bring all the shampoos and soaps. That can be awkward I agree.
  4. ^ Miskiin. You were right awkward moments define your life. LOL...I disbaled my autocorrect from my phone long time ago. But I did that because I disliked the way it changed my somali words to English. Perhaps, you should do the same and turn it off.
  5. Chimera, it would have been less awkward if you explained yourself. But, I guess you were too shocked to do that lol...
  6. Alle ha u naxaristo inti dhimatay. Waxa fitnadan wadana alle hanaga qabto.
  7. What was the most awkward situation that you found yourself in?? Mine was when I said to this lady "Congrats, is it a boy or a girl" and she awkwardly coughs and says " I am not pregnant" and you realize too late that she's slightly overweight. Till today I feel guilty about uttering those words.
  8. Horay wan u maleenaya sheko uso dhow in aan maqlay. Gabadhi guursata qofey aqoona yadaba danbiga leh tan kale sidee bey u garan weydey in ay weydiiso shaqada nocu qabto. Ta afarad waa ilaahay mahadii hadey tobad keneen waxan rajaynaya hadey sheko run ku salesan tahay in ay noloshodi iskudubni iyo jaceyl wali ku wadaan

  10. If they find a way to control that large capacity of water by hiring irrigation engineers surely Somalis will not suffer from famine. Subhanalah breathtaking, I am at awe.
  11. "I want to see Somalia back again to what it was" Mo Farah Powerful line. Insha'allah may we live to see that day, when Somalia comes back to what it was.
  12. Anuu budhcad baan u arkaa ninkan iyo inta uu shaqaaleesiiistay. These various projects are needed in Somalia but they should be initiated by somalis and be serving Somalis. Unlike this man who is more focused on serving his interest and the international people. Lets also note that his projects are not regulated by the government or anyone for that matter. Ilaahay hanaga qabto.

  14. Ina likuli nafsin ajalin musamaa...Alle ha u naxariisto, eheladiisa iyo umada Somaliyeedba sabar iyo imaan haka siiyo.
  15. Awdal holds the same legitimate status as Khaatumo. It is the last nail to the coffin (Secessionism). So you and your ilk as you put it, might want to start transitioning yourselves to this impending reality.
  16. Oodweyne, you sound aggravated. Don't try to undermine the legitimacy of the unionist states. Those who do undermine them merely come across as headless chickens running about hysterically.
  17. Jaaliyada Awdal xaq bay u leeyihiin in ay dantooda iyo ayahooda ka tashtaan. Hambalyo.
  18. I was just about to edit my comment, I watched the video that was posted earlier. But, instead of sending them these many camels, would it be more profitable to make a business from camel meat/milk etc.
  19. The pictures are stunning. Intaas oo geel ah xagee lo dhoofinaya.

Last Somali/ Yemeni wedding I went to the DJ was behind a screen laakin mar walba intuu soo baxo ayuu Islamaha la hadlaayay. Lugu soo duulaya miya tidhi? baga saasa wanaagsan. lol@ intu kaso baxo islamaha la hadlaya. In my city there's this same 50 something bold guy who you would find taping every somali only-ladies aroos ( and the hypocricy is when the groom and his men are coming in, the guests are warned to wear hijaab if they are hijabis like u pointed out earlier...waan is weydiiya kan nin ma aha manto dhan ku hor boodayaan markay buraanburayaan? wa aduun)
  21. *Blessed;940321 wrote: @Aaliyah ... They actually are catering for Muslim girls who are modest. In the UAE and much of the gulf there are no mix weddings, no photos allowed to be taken and no videos. If the groom comes in, women are forewarned and those who are proper hijabis - cover up with abayaas and shaylas. It would probably be easier / cheaper to design and tailor your own modest dress using the same fabric. Thanks for the clarification. And can anyone actually pull off "no photo" policy at parties? It would be somewhat hard to control a crowd.
