  2. Well done to the lady and that man at the end of the clip who spoke up for justice regarding Khaatumo State in the face of blatant falsehood.
  3. Impressive CV, the central bank must be in good hands.Wish him success.
  4. No problem walaal. Here's the london one. Inshallah you will attend one in the future.
  5. Xamar iyo Somalia oo dhan nabad iyo horumar ayaan u rajaynayaa.

Waxaan dhihi lahaa Badri ''Keep up the good work that you're doing for yourself and for the community. You deserve Mustaqbal fiican." You are most wlc walaal.
  7. Wadani;940566 wrote: True, but it's not the type of civil war where some people are expelled from their deegaans and a new clan is brought in to settle there, and that's wat I was intitially talking about. Anyway, u already know my position on Khaatumo. Somaliland should let them be if dadwaynaha Khaatumo doesn't want to be a part of them, just as Somalia should let Somaililand be if it doesnt want to rejoin the union. Civil wars took place in Northeast early 80s, Northwest late 80s, Awdal 91, Mugadishu 91- 2012, Kilinka shanaad past 30 years, and in Khaatumo region from 2007-now (Kalshaale, Xudun, Buhoodle, Laascaanod etc). Civil wars don't have types. I bet you in each war certain people thought they were targetted and being expelled from their region. So one can interpret each war from a different perspective, but bottom line war is a war. Maybe, you and others respect the choice of Khaatumo people. However, Silaanyo, his militia, and his neo-snm supporters including some in this forum strongly believe Khaatumo region should be under SL by force. Even if it means displacing the locals, disregarding the wishes of Khaatumo people.
  8. Wadani;940500 wrote: No, u misunderstood. Im talking about history. Waxani way dhaceen and cannot be changed unless God forbid civil war breaks out in the north.. But if the snm clan started claiming Laascaanod today for example (in the sense of expelling the Khaatumo clan and making it an snm degaan), i'd be the first to go against it. So markaa ha i fahmi waayin. You are in denial. Civil war has been ongoing for more than two decades in Somalia. And this civil war is still active in many parts of Somalia including Khaatumo region.

  10. Wa la isku xoog sheganaya miya. Haye aan aragno kasoo hadha.
  11. As you pointed out, you are occupying other people's lands so that changes everything. And no one was talking about the I-clan in a general sense. We were talking about specific subclan, who shares hargaisa with other subclans.

  13. Oodweyne, day in and day out you condone the aggression of your clan men in Khaatumo regions. You are in no position to speak.
  14. Xaaji Xunjuf;940445 wrote: Sub clan and the garaad clan is not a sub clan No one signed on their behalf the brits had no interest really in the interior clans The Khaatumo clan own a large tract of land.
  15. Xaaji Xunjuf;940344 wrote: They were not the only clan there were other clans to who didn't sign the colonial treaties for instance the Baligubadle clan southern Hargeisa didn't sign the colonial treaty and there were others to. The Brits signed a treaty with all the coastal tribes Maakhir clan the awdal clans saaxil and other sanaag clans. But since the Garaad clan is a clan of the interior they didn't sign a treaty the same with the baligubadle clan. Baligubadle are a subclan, men of the same clan signed on their behalf. Learn your history.
  16. STOIC;940311 wrote: . By the way KhAtumo folks were considered SomalilAnders First of all, the current clan based admin “Somaliland” is different than the British Somaliland that consisted of multi-clans. Secondly, Khaatumo clan was the only one among the clans in the North of Somalia who never signed any treaties of protection with Britain. Hence, the Khatumo folks never recognized the colonial borders (British Somaliland) and still stand firm by their decision.

  19. I found most of these clothes immodest. But, then again I guess you can fit in a hijaab and a jacket with some of them and it should be fine. P.s they should try to cater to the muslim girls who want to be modest. Other than that congrats to their efforts and hard work.
  20. Ma saasa. Xaaji cabaas run buu sheegay. Qofkii dadaala aduun meel wacan buu higsani.
  21. Absolutely, he made great points. But, he gets a lil extreme in his details ie if your husband is going the wrong direction or making the wrong decision do not correct him or you will hurt his ego lol oo sooma la isku guursan in la isa saxo oo midwalba ka kale taakuleeyo maa la iska kala caraabo hadi wax la isku shegi karin oo qaladka la iska qaban karin.
  22. Mashallah, a hard working young man. He serves as a good example for the youth to emulate. Abbas I think he said "kii dadaala sheekh cabaas buu gaadha wuuna dhaafi kara" (that is if I heard it correctly lol, Who is shiekh Abbas talow?)
  23. Malika, thanks for the tip.
  24. haha I felt that way about some of his statements. But, take whatever that makes sense from this clip, and leave the rest. Hadalka inta fiican baa laga qaata. Inta kalena docda ka tuur.
