I dislike him and I'm not sure why more Somalilanders don't. I'm not bothered by any particular political position, it's these qori ismaris (hat tip, SP) types who will say anything to orient themselves for a future political career who bother me.

i highly doubt the good professor is a qori ismaris type. i'd say, he's finally learnt to rue his loss of opportunity in the south. anyways, we will welcome him back and i'm quite sure, you, too, will eventually come back to the fold. maxaay ahayd maahmaadi gaalkuu....go east or west, home is best....ee sida uula soco.

Indeed he did, and now he's calculating how to pursue a political career in the north. I just see it as political opportunism.

And I don't belong to any fold except Soomaalinimo, ee siida ula soco

C&B, eegaan waad iska yeelyeeleysaa baan u maleyn.

Apo, for a person who spent time in Gsa you should know that a considerable portion of the populace speak like that. Another weird thing we Garissians have is that we mostly use Aadaa/aayadaa instead of hooyadaa like other Somalis.
