What are some of the things that REALLY bother you during RAMADAN?

Recommended Posts

1. lack of sleep

2. iftar being basic.

3. the 15mins before iftar

4. the concentration required

5. having to wake up for suxuur

6. everyone saying ramadan is going quick when really they are glad to see the back of it.

7. fakies preaching to you, i wonder for how long before their piety expires.

i havent broken any of these rules so far...manshallah.

Those whom it seems the concept of ramadan is lost on them. I find them annoying as they go on and on about how hard it is, how much it prohibits them from whatever they should have been indulging themselves in..blah blah. There is no compulsion in Islam, if one cant do it then shut up..

p.s.

I'm lurking because there isn't anything worth replying to here. It's either Alpha & Carafaat talking about women's handbags or some (supposedly) militant atheist luring Norf & co into yet another pointless faith discussion.

lack of sleep

Naked women on the streets, lowering your gaze or looking the other way won't help specially when you're driving.

Perhaps just waking up for suxuur, I do wake up. But, it is a little irritating when my alarm rings at 3:30 in the morning. I just want to turn it off and go back to sleep lol..Other than that none of the other points you pointed out are relevant.

^the irritation is sheytan, marka baa wala caudhubileysta!

Tip of the day :I have found - drinking fruit smoothies, especially one with honeydew melon to have kept the thirst away.

feeling I am not making the most of this blessed month and other ppl are! :(

I find it easier to stay up after taraweh and go to sleep after fajr, I know I would NEVER wake up after 2 hours of sleep.

Lack of sleep and no air conditioning.

Ngonge, I've been staying out of it (granted a banana skin or two).
