The tale of two countries, Somaliland and Somalia

Recommended Posts

By Ibrahim Mead - Evil is by nature restless, evasive and aggressive. That is the situation Somalia put her self in! That is where she is now!

Somaliland is saying to Somalia, “Find another snore!” “Jiib noom taani!” Your snoring disturbed the people sleeping with you in the same room! Your “snoring” is a de-stabilizing factor in the region. Get another one! Get a thinking brain!

1- Stop the Religious and clan instigated terrorism against Somaliland and Ethiopia in particular

2- Abolish your profitable but evil trade; the trade of sea piracy!

3- Stop the trade of illegal immigration! Hundreds die every month in the Gulf of Aden!

4-Stop exporting refugees to the neighbouring countries, in particular to Somaliland which is struggling to feed her people. Get a thinking brain!

Equalization of two different entities like Somaliland and Somalia lies in the positive, following the good and abandoning the wrong! It is not in the negative. Following the wrong and abandoning the good, as Somalia lived and entertains in action and words.

Somalia’s thinking and attitude is that let us “Somaliaize” Somaliland as to equalize the two sisters! Somaliland is saying, “Still wrong snoring, sister!”

Somaliland is not bragging and saying we are fine (in which she is) and you are under fire (in which Somalia is) Somaliland is saying put up or shut up! In other words clean your house before you point your finger to others!

Good and evil may refer to the location of matter, desires, and behaviors on a two-way range with one direction being morally positive-good and the other morally negative-evil!

Good deals in an association with life, continuity, peace happiness and prosperity.

Evil is ultimately based in an ignorance of truth i.e., human sanctity and human values. Evil is more simply defined: the opposite of good, depending on the context. In this context one may define the present Somalia as an evil entity in all and what she stands for now. They can change that if and when they are ready for it.

Enlightenment thinkers suggested that evil is learned as a consequence of tyrannical social structures. In this respect Somalia may de-educate her self to become normal!

Goodness is a product of knowing truth. Some argue that Goodness represents hope, continuity, unrestrained, and all-inclusiveness. In other contexts, good is viewed to be whatever produces the best consequences upon the lives of people, especially with regard to their states of well being. Precisely what Somaliland has done for her people, relatively speaking?

Ref: Wikipedia

Upon declaring the withdrawal of the union from Somalia, Somaliland licked her wounds, promised and delivered to all her citizens, hope, unrestrained progress and inclusiveness but above all the new (2nd Republic) Somaliland has promised and delivered peace and stability she enjoys right now.

Somaliland has a democratically elected government functioning and contributing to the stability of the region in her part.

Where is Somalia in this effort? [see below where Somalia is in this effort]

The above two Somali states married briefly (1960-1990) Somaliland withdrew that ill-fated union from Somalia in 1991.

The two Somali states represent good and evil by their own making!

Somaliland travelled on the road of: Reconciliation and not retribution, forgiveness and not restitution, consensus and common ground, rebuilding and rebirth, living in peace and cooperation with her self and with her neighbours.

Somaliland built social and governmental institution from the ashes.

Somaliland has elected governments who are accountable to the people.

Democracy and human dignity are working there.

Where is Somalia in all these!? [Zero] Somalia is not a functioning state! Somalia exists by name. And they are talking about more foreign aid; for what? for their pocket and belly?

The author is suggesting that any aid given to Mr. Shareef of Mogadishu and Mr. Farooli of *****tainia must be deducted the amount of money they receive from the ransom of the kidnapped ships and humans. I think the balance sheet will show an excess that they have to repay the international community the balance!

Somalia does not have any elected representatives.

Somalia is governed not by an elected people but by the gun

Somalia’s foreign packaged pack are there in one or two streets in Mogadisho protected by African union soldieries, financed and supported by the international community in which Great Britain is a major player in that endeavor

Somalia is danger to the peace and stability of the neighbouring countries particularly Somaliland

Somalia has no functioning government but they have a well functioning piracy and terrorism enterprise!

Somalia is the home and the patrons of:

1- Al Qaida related Alshabaab

2- International sea piracy

Kidnapped the British elderly couple and many others

Kidnapped and killed four American civilians and many others

3- Illegal and suicidal immigration where hundreds die every month

4- Flood of Somalia’s refugees to Somaliland and to the neighbouring countries

5- Clan instigated militias supplied by both Mr. Shareef of Mogadisho and Mr. Farooli of *****tainia aimed to destabilize the peaceful and stable Somaliland is in operation.

That is what Somalia is good at and that is what they do! That is their contribution to the peace and prosperity of the region and the world at large!

That is the tale of two countries- Somaliland and Somalia! The good and the evil!

However peace and prayers

Ibrahim Mead

Goodness gracious great balls of fire! It's really not necessary for y'all to create a new blog for wax kasta ka dhaco or laga sheego Somaliland. Create ONE blog dedicated to everything Somaliland and ease our indho from seeing it all over the forum.

The title should've been 'Somalia and the Fairy Tale of a Somali Land' ;)

all of you should stop this fruitless hostilities, why should we on this forum care about your inane takes on other Somalis day in day out. We get, some of you hate somaliland and some of you hate Somalia, safely from your distant portals unaware of the suffering of people in that God forsaken country. There is a saying about saying nothing if you have nothing nice to say but perhaps that would be too much to ask of some of these new nomads on this forum.
