^^ That’s quite straight-forward. Faarax Macalin was Xiin’s hero when he agreed with him and is a "so n so" when he doesn't? This predictable duplicitous behaviour says a lot about the certain members of SOL more than anything. This is not the first time either, remember this;

".... just weeks ago he (Congressman Donald Payne) was the darling of Puntland, what happened? Is it because he didn't turn a blind eye to naked abuses?" ...

"This is what we call cheap politics ...they were even questioning whether the Congressman was a aware of it (press release)...If Puntland's friends want to extend petty clan politics into American political process it's not gonna work...that shows a sense of desperation on the part those making this argument... “ ~ Dagne

Abdiladiif,

You are not saying much really---no matter how long it took I still called spade a spade and said what I thought was right :D

Farah caused no damage to anyone; he only damaged his political future. Farole on the other hand was accused of murdering innocent people under his jurisdiction. That warranted my judicious stance :D

Ayoub dwells on the lowest point of every discussion, and this one is no different.

Zack, you are not making any sense adeer, desperate is how you comes across right now. Farah is a Kenyan MP, from a maraganalised and much abused ethnic group. his own clan folk gets tortured by the Kenyans and are second class citizens in their own land. Lets not go there my boy.

He went into Somalia and took sides, and even insulted a large population of Somalia, why?

No Kenyan, no Ethiopian & no Somali or Afar from Djibouti did what this man has done.

That makes him a clown, and you a supporter of a clown.
:D

farah's people in kenya are represented in the real kenyan goverment then any other ethnic, they hold two powerfull ministerial position and second deputy speaker and too many important positions , they well a head in education and civilizationwise then punts. they were ones massacred same like you people was massacred during siyad era. if it were are not his people in kenya none of punts would set foot in kenya

The Zack

MVP, don't take duke very serious, the dude is so ignorant about how $#$ is done in east africa, he probably never set a foot to Garowe let a lone to Kenya. He is spoon-fed with siyaasadda reerka and thinks that governor of not so peaceful state is more powerful than a deputy speaker of an entire country lol.

Xiin, I might not be saying much balse runtii cimaamadiibaa kaa dhacdey adeer but then again, this isn't the first time is it? ---- :D:D .

Here is ina Daware's respond to the guy.

By Martin Mutua

National Assembly Deputy Speaker Farah Maalim has told off Foreign Affairs Minister Moses Wetang’ula for calling on a parliamentary committee to investigate his activities while on official duty abroad.

The Deputy Speaker said he led a delegation of parliamentary committee that visited Somaliland in December and would this week present a report before the House on the tour.

"I have no obligation to write to Mr Wetang’ula or the Executive over my trip because Parliament works independently from the Executive," he said.

Mr Maalim said Wetang’ula, an accomplished lawyer, should have known that under the Standing Orders the Deputy Speaker is in charge of all committees of the House and cannot therefore be summoned by any of them.

"If an issue arises, the fate of the Speaker and that of his Deputy can only be decided by the House and not departmental committees," he added.

And Maalim noted that even the Speaker does not have the powers to preside over the committee unless the Deputy Speaker is absent or directs so.

"Wetang’ula still lives in the old Kanu days, which he misses and cherishes so much when ministers used to summon MPs and the Speaker at will. Parliament is independent at least for now and he should let go his dreams of the Kanu days," he added.

Report

The Chairman of the Defence and Foreign Relations Committee Adan Keynan yesterday called The Standard to refute claims he said his committee would summon the Deputy Speaker.

"We received Wetang’ula’s letter but under the Standing orders we cannot summon the Deputy Speaker," he said.

He said they had compiled a report on the trip, which would be tabled in the House.

Maalim said the Somalia Transitional Federal Government envoy Muhammed Ali Nur had welcomed the visit.

Rageedii. :D . He is right, Watangula has not feet to stand on, but his visit to the secessionist enclave will sure cause him to lose a large segment of his constituents in Kenya. He seems to be the opposite of Adan Lord's legacy of keeping some balancing ties between the proper native land (Kenya) and that of the Republic
