N.O.R.F

So what is the reason for a Puntland Passport?

ps from your post, are you saying Somaliland is not a part of Somalia (as you havnt mentioned anything or attached anything relating it to being a part of Somalia) and thus has its own Passport? ;)

Orgilaqe, nice to see us both on the same side of the fence :D

Hello Tolstoy!

How are you doing brother.

Very well said brother. But dhagii ilaahay waaniyo ayaa waansan. :D

But in any case, the caravan shall roll on. ;)

MR. CAAMIR

You can have your opinions as you wish but the fact of the matter is that Somaliland and Djibouti have reached a series of agreements in the pass few years which included among other things the normalisation of relations, the stablishment of trade offices and the recognition of Somaliland passport as a valid travel document.

I dont know if you did listen to it on BBC but even the Djibouti foreign Minister confirmed the list of agreements.

This is not however to say that Djibouti has "FULLY" recognised Somaliland but that is the direction the wind is blowing. :D

The Somaliland Diplomatic Passport is travelled by Somaliland officials and is accepted as a valid travel document for entry to the USA, Canada, UK and a number of other European countries including Denmark, Sweden, France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. It is also accepted in a number of African Union member countries.

Somaliland has come a long sxb and there is no returns but look forward.

Afhayeenka Madaxtooyadu wuxuu xusay in labada Wasiir ay Jabuuti wada-hadal kula yeelanayaan wefti Congress-ka Maraykanka ka socda, isla markaana ay kala hadli doonaan arrimo khuseeya dhinaca dhaqaalaha oo uu metelayo Wasiirka Maaliyaddu, iyo dhinaca siyaasada oo ay qaabilsan tahay Wasiirka Arimaha Dibaddu. Afhayeenku waxa kale oo uu xusay inay jireen xidhiidho hore oo wada-hadalkaasi daba socday, dawladda Maraykankuna ay beryahan dambe danaynayso arrimaha Somaliland. IMHO, what you mean Djabouti accepts somali land ? Haven't you taken a civic classes back home,or they don't teach that anymore. Somali land existed even before Djabouti became an independent nation ,so who is who accepting?

Babysteps in the right direction, and inshaAllah we’ll be our own sovereign nation one day... we just need to have patience and we’ll get there.

I was wondering by the way, if a non-somali wants to enter the country, does he have to have visa, because my japanese colleague might join me next year when I go to somaliland.
