Buubto thanks sweetie but you might want to look into feminism; its not about having men and women having different organs and it doesn talk about Gods creativity at all. its more along the lines of getting Equal paying job; anti voilence etc. As you know Islam was/Is the first religion to give about freedom of women ; these people didnt reach our stage yet they are just trying to get the freedom muslim women are supposed to enjoy.

Sis you right they have all those things you mentioned. But don't forget t Feminism is an association who specialises in persuading people, they do have an aspect which attracts people so they can persuade them. In today’s society everything women do is based on feminism & their rights. They saying to women you have right to do whatever u want & u intituled to compete with men. For example in fifties & even sixties women behaved certain way. If a woman becomes striper, model, actress & etc people used to see it as a bad thing. But now it become modern & feminism because is free to do whatever she wants & society won’t disown her. Today’s society you can’t tell the difference between a prostitute and an innocent young girl because of dress code.

Not did they only told them to wear whatever they want, they even taught them how to run their own house. In western countries in fifties and sixties women preferred to stay home so they can raise their kids but not to undergrade them. Nowadays a house wife is bad thing because she is seen as illiberal & uneducated. She is taught to abandon her kids and work because it is her rights. (subhana laah isn’t her right to raise her kids).

Feminism reached an stage to even use women’s body to sell products. They’re on the street walls, TV, newspapers & etc. what got to do a product and a women’s body, what sort of rights is that?

Based on facts feminism have done nothing for women other than, disrespect them, degrade them & destroy her dignity and pride. so sister I don't thing they can even come an inch close to the freedom Islam gives to women.

Everybody gets hot under the collar when the 'F' word is mentioned. Everybody has a different take on it. I have no real interest in feminism as I define it. The only thing that concerns me is that many Muslim women the world over are denied their Islamic rights. Anybody running a course on that? I'd take it.

Why are you men so freaking paranoid? Trust me no one is after you. Dont freaking generalize and apply one damn meaning to the word feminism. Most women take women's classes or as you refer to "Feministic clases" or whatever to learn about their history, rights, and health as women. Issues and concerns of women that are not discusseed or validated in any other department.

I dont know what the term feminist means...

but I notice that im called that whenver I deferenciate myself from a doormat

Changed

BUUBto and Garab Tuujiye: I understand where both of y'all are coming from. But I believe one has to look into something from others point of view. These people are not Muslim and wearing mini skirts and walking around semi-naked is not sinning to them: HE said they are teaching feminism in their school; i took a women’s studies class and what they thought me was the things I stated at first not getting naked and doing all the gross/insane stuff some women do under the name of feminism

I would not blame feminism for women getting jobs and leaving their children behind no mother feminist or not would want to do that it’s the economy: families now a days can’t live above poverty level without the income of 2. There are good and bad that come with everything; I attended the vagina monologues twice and there are things that I would never agree with but there things I would agree with especially on cases like rape, burning of women in India and Pakistan etc. I would not call myself a Feminist because I would categorize myself with those that do all the things Buubto mention. What’s been going on in this thread is peoples been looking at the negative side rather than the positive; one should compare and contrast and have a clear view on it instead assuming the worst.

And what if some men would protest on the streets to demand to be equally treated in the society ,should we women viewed them as gays since the word lesbianism comes to your mind when discussing feminism?Think about it.

LOL C'mon now, You can't be serious
