Stoic-Again you seem to be confusing stability with the consent of all local tribes with institutionalized democracy. And really, what advantages are there for those opposing secession in joining Somaliland....I meant real socioeconomic advantages, something more than exercising casting votes? There's no clear indication that someone living in Boroma has anyone socioeconomic advantages than say someone living in Bosaso, Kismayo or even Xamar.. The only difference is this perceived democracy punctuated by stability thanks largely due to the consent of all northern tribes.
