  2. ^Which I think might be right because I have yet to see paycheck from tolka.
  3. Qaranka...It will be a sight to see but I don't want the old man to have heart attack. Knowing his policies and his execution of them will suffice. Xaaji......I do appreciate Somali administration lack resources and the people are generally poor but every administration no matter how resource starved comes in with mandate and has responsibility to uphold. Security and economic prosperity are most vital goals for government. At least, Somaliland has good security but has it done in terms of sparking economic growth so the millions sitting idly can get to work. It seems the generation after war is simply wasting away.
  4. ^What does the cabinet do? I get the daily meetings but else? Other than the security apparatus, it seems nothing else is working.

  6. ^lool I am not actually sure what 'governments' in Somaliland and Puntland do? NGOs and the private enterprise that are ones actually doing something. So called government just shows up for the ribbon cutting and pass it 'development'.
  7. Somalicentric.....Don't ruin puppy love....
  8. It Will be complicated and a lot people buying the lands are connected.
  9. ^I think most land belongs to the Government and displaced owners.
  10. Does anyone of you actually have control over what happens in Jubba?
  11. Ngonge....Ethiopia does have boots on the ground in Beledweyne and Bakool. They have 'advisors' in Baydhabo. They arm and control Ahlu Sunnah in central regions and Gedo, so they are very much present in Somalia and armed to the teeth. And I don't discount Kenya's threat but I just believe it's easier to neutralize Kenya.
  12. Ngonge... It's quite on the Western front simply the Ethiopians are figuring themselves out and settling internal issues so things fall into equilibrium. Their ambition towards Somalia hasn't changed and crimes in Western Somalia despite so called peace talks between them and ONLF go unabated. The Kenyans are easy to get rid off if there's stable government and hence doesn't pose eternal threat. Mind you, Kenyans were re-hatted as Amisom and they don't really the resources to sustain occupation shall the local population turn against them.
