  1. PWC doesn't overwrite this admin. The fault lies at this admin for not making sure PWC wasn't doing its job. Sxb you're telling me if you hire a contractor to fix up your house and you end up paying twice as much as your mortgage with nothing to show for, he's to blame. Any sane person will tell you the house owner doesn't need to blame anyone but himself. Somalis will need to own up this mess and work to fix the problem, not pay up some UK firms to help fix their problems.
  2. ^Yeah but you are stating the obvious. Who's ultimately responsible for dropping the ball? And you don't fire a lower ranking operational executive alone when the CEO screws up real bad. It's the CEO that owns up the failure of leadership of the whole organization. In this case, you fire the top dogs of SFG who hired this lousy firm to help them avoid corruption. That's how it is done is real normal functioning countries but there is nothing functional or normal in Somalia.

Today they killed two business men in Kismayo in cold-blood.....If it continues this way it will be an all-out war between these communities !!! I said nothing bad about the family sxb. I got nothing against the family. I despise those that use the good name of the family to support this ugly warlord. There is no denying this family is part and parcel of Jubaland, minus the few morons that chose warlordsm over peace and stability of the region.
  4. Gabbal: What happened to your 'god-like figure' aka Hiiraale whom we know is an old dirty diaper in Somali politics. Is this the eleventh or so time he's failing you by being chased out of the city? Hiiraale is no good without his master Indhacade behind him. Now all eyes are on Cabaas to bring the family into the throne of Jubaland.
  5. ^You don't get that expression and you claim to be in Hargeysa?
  6. Where was Gabbal when the Ethiopians were 'indiscriminate shelling' Muqdisho under the defense minister of Barre Hiiraale? Enough with the fake outrage. This report is the same one given by Hiiraale when he run to the outskirts of the city. Is warlord Hiiraale the mouthpiece of the SFG now? When are you gonna give up on this old dirty diaper?
  7. Rahima;965383 wrote: My point exactly. In saying that though, do you think that we are in a position to be bringing anyone to justice? Once upon a time i used to think we could but since seeing warlords (not just in Mogadishu Jacpher) crowned with recognised power I'm now certain that will never happen. ^You're right Somalia is not in a good position today to bring justice to all criminals warlords either holding office or enjoying life in the country. All need to answer for their criminal enterprise but I understand we don't have the means and resources to do so. Having said that, I think we can start somewhere that this game of giving them a pass isn't gonna continue.
  8. ^Right. I forgot the victims will rise up on the day of the judgement only to give a pass to the mere 'corner warlords'.
  9. Miyir;965376 wrote: Big difference between warlord fighting for a corner and mass murderers. What difference does their reasoning makes if both are 'murderers' as you put in, at the end of the day. One killed for power, control or for food, the other did it for religious conviction or martyrdom, what difference does it make to the victims?
  10. Aweys one of many Muqdisho based warlords that are running freely in Muqisho. Why target one and not the other gazillion warlord criminals in the city? Having said that, Aweys needs to answer for all the crimes he committed against humanity; bring him to justice.
  11. It doesn't get any better than this. Sell your product to the hateful rednecks with these gimmicks. Good marketing pitch ever. I know this product will sell good. Capitalism at its best. Why didn't I patent this.
  12. I'm changing my default search engine to Yahoo!.
  13. For what civil war? The civil war Muqdisho waged in the 90s or the one President Hassan and his defense minister are allegedly involved in today?
  14. In the mean time, the IDP go without food and shelter. What a waste of resources.
  15. By Tracy Simmons Religion News Service SPOKANE, Wash. (RNS) Still angry about the idea of an Islamic cultural center opening near Ground Zero, a group of Idaho gun enthusiasts decided to fight back with a new line of pork-laced bullets. South Fork Industries, based in Dalton Gardens, Idaho, claims its ammunition, called Jihawg Ammo, is a “defensive deterrent to those who violently act in the name of Islam.” The bullets are coated in pork-infused paint, which the company states makes the ammo “haram,” or unclean, and therefore will keep a Muslim who’s shot with one of the bullets from entering paradise. “With Jihawg Ammo, you don’t just kill an Islamist terrorist, you also send him to hell. That should give would-be martyrs something to think about before they launch an attack. If it ever becomes necessary to defend yourself and those around you our ammo works on two levels,” the company said in a press release earlier this month. The company’s website bills the bullets as “Peace Through Pork” and a “peaceful and natural deterrent to radical Islam.” There’s a related line of apparel that feature slogans like “Put Some Ham in MoHAMed” and a target poster that says “Give Em a Spankin with some Bacon.” “The nullifying principle of our product is only effective if you are attacked by an Islamist in Jihad,” the company’s website says. “Otherwise, our ammo functions just like any other ammunition, so we obviously insist upon defensive use of our ammo only-not offensive.” Company officials declined requests to comment. However, Shannon Dunn, assistant professor of religious studies at Gonzaga University, said South Fork’s concept is based on an inaccurate understanding of the Quran. “There is no penalty for coming into contact with pork given by the Quran,” she said, pointing to verses that prohibit the consumption of pork and carrion that are reminiscent of Jewish dietary laws outlined in Leviticus. “To my knowledge, Muslims, especially unknowingly, would not be banned from heaven for eating or getting hit by pork,” she said. “There are some interpreters who suggest that Muslims should eat pork rather than starve, if faced with that alternative.” Nevertheless, the ammo has plenty of supporters, with more than 4,300 people liking it on Facebook. One fan, Ted of California, said he planned to buy 500 rounds. Another, Jeffrey, said he hoped someone would smuggle the bullets into U.S. military troops. 17. It sucks to be iOS user and discover all these features in iOS 7 today when in fact Android users had them and plenty more for the past few years. Don't get me wrong; I don't hate Apple. I like my iPad and the easy, friendly and straight forward of iOS interface but Apple devices are really boring without jailbreaking them to enjoy fully all the tweaks and features your device is capable of. For instance, if you had a jailbroken device running iOS 5 or later, all the features Apple introduced in iOS 7 yesterday were available to you in the Cydia Store all these years but you had to be jailbroken. There has been a rumor Apple stopped innovating and if you watched the event, you saw senior VP Phil replying to that criticism when introducing the new Mac Pro. However, people were literally begging Apple to release updated Mac pro for awhile now. Going from the earlier design of tower shape to a cylinder was very impressive design and a very small size. What I reading the blogs today, this design means a limited upgrade options to the end user. Yes Apple gave you top killer specs but in two or three years, you have no option to upgrade the components because of the smaller size design. For iOS 7, Apple has slowly been introducing [should I say borrowing or stealing] jailbreak tweaks into the core of the iOS without acknowledging the JB community and working overtime to make it impossible to jailbreak. If you were waiting for jb like me, it took over six months to get iOS 6 to be hacked and jailbroken and Apple decided to patch up the holes hackers found to jailbreak in a series of updates within two months. I think that was the shortest lived jailbreak. So if you updated your devices right away, you were out of luck. This is why some JB devs speculated if there is any incentive to work hard to develop more tweaks and jb apps because in part Apple was is implementing some of their greatest ideas and shutting the jb community down at the same time. Now that iOS 7 is out, most of my favorite jb tweaks are no longer needed, [sBSettings, SwipeBack, NCSetting, Auxo, Bulletin, KillBacground, Tabs+, iBlacklist, and etc] because now that they are built right into the core of the OS. One big point was repeated in the blogshere yesterday was how Apple re-designed iOS 7 to the look more like Android and other platforms like Windows and Blackberry. From design to features to the look and feel of the OS, this new facelift is Android. This was the headline yesterday in Android circles; That moment when iOS became Android. :D The two main problems with Android is that it's too fragmented and there's little Google can do. Android is an open system with hundreds of manufactures and thousands of devices. For updates, it's up to the carriers to determine whenever you the end user gets software update even though Google released upgrade versions to the public. You have to wait for your carriers [Verizon, AT&T or the manufacturers] to take that OS updated version add to their flavors/features, test and implement and release to the public. This takes months and years and that's why people are still using Android versions released two to three years ago. However, there's good news if you are up to the task. There is huge Android community that build and release their own ROMs and make them available on the net. For me I'm running the latest 4.2.2 on my S3 though my carrier is stuck on 4.1 version. Android has a vast build community out there with all kinds of Android flavors to choose from. Adiga lee ha ka daalin. The other problem is that it is lacking in the App department. There are millions of Android apps out there but it's hard to find apps that are alternative to Apple for someone coming from iOS. So for me iOS 7 was a bit disappointing but it's all about what sells. Remember iPhone 4s wasn't all that different from iPhone 4 in terms of specs, but it was Siri the virtual voice assistance that sold it millions. It was that gimmick. Hardly anyone uses it now. Android's Google Now feature is more accurate and responds faster but Google isn't selling more devices because of Google Now. Apple is genius in marketing. Now watch this new re-design of iOS is gonna sell millions of the next new iphone coming out in the fall. http://www.droid-life.com/2013/06/10/ios7-vs-android-a-quick-comparison-after-the-wwdc-keynote/

  19. ^Right. Kismaayo must take precedence over the grave threat of bombs going off in Muqdisho.
