Its a general fact among analyst and people who observ the sitaution what Kenya aims to do. Its not acusation or something i made up recently. Its well known fact. However and to my relieve the goverment and AU understands the sitaution and efforts to reduce Kenyans influence has already begun with the Sierra Leone soldiers heading south. You see if they dont respect the political realites and wants to dictate Somalia then people have the right to react and you shouldnt try to silence it by calling it "empty protest":D Here is quote from Global post who predicted it:D " NAIROBI, Kenya — Kenya plans to use its recent invasion of Somalia to carve out a semi-autonomous client state in the south of the country, say observers whose analysis is backed by leaked US diplomatic cables. A secure buffer state, to be called Jubaland, would be headed by a former Somali defense minister and secured by an Islamist warlord in a bid to contain Somalia’s violent chaos protecting Kenya’s borders and its tourist-driven economy" Robbing Peter to pay Paul is your strategy.
  2. ^I understand all that you're saying about Kenya but in the eye's of its UN/AU mandate, they are no different than other troops in the country. And for that reason, it has the right to turn away anyone at its own discretion. No one has a say who it lets in/out other than itself. Your case boils down to mere accusation and empty protest. You ain't in a position today to have Kenyan troops to leave let alone tell who it grants entry. Don't put the cart before the horse, so to speak. :D
  3. Dabrow;937257 wrote: You really think thats a clever list. Many of those countries you mention have done unforgivable crimes in those countries they occupy. Not exactly the guardian of democracy. I guess these countries are the model for Kenya to follow. But please list more countries:D ps: What countries does Iraq and turkey occupy? Let's get some facts out of the way. Kenya ain't occupying Somalia for the same way the Ugandan or Burundi troops aren't occupying forces. They are UN/AU peace keeping forces. Their mandate refers to them as peace keeping troops, regardless of you seeing them as occupying forces. Your views aren't gonna change that so stop trying. These troops are found in many capitals around the world. But I don't see the point you're making here. No country other than Israel refuses people entry for political grounds? Try landing Moscow, Beijing, Ankara or Baghdad or many other capitals advocating for the Independence of the countries they got issues with.

The only country i can think of is Israel and now Kenya however Somalis are proud people and will never accept such fate. Israel, USA, China, Russia, Iraq, Turkey, India/Pakistan.......should I continue
  5. ^As if we didn't read the thirteen dozen topics about Jubbaland and Kenya. Weren't you the one advocating for Muqdisho to march the troops down to Kismaayo in here? War magacii ma lagaa badalay?
  6. Good riddance. Can't wait for hotmail to follow suit. If you use hotmail, you can now migrate your hotmail to outlook or Microsoft will eventually retire hotmail and move you over to outlook.
  7. I guess there are no countries on earth that refuse people entry for political grounds. For those of you protesting Kenya's right to do so; look no further than your host country. I am too tired now to list the gazillion countries who turn away people for this reason or another everyday. Stop holding Kenya to a higher different standard. Heck, Somaliland, turns away anyone having to do with anything Muqdisho politically. For those of you threatening Kenya to invade or evoke sovereignty, on what ground? Kenya must accept every Somali citizen that lands its space??
  8. Yes, Muqdisho is sending ground troops to Hargeysa. Faysal run for the woods. What a delusional secessionist.
  9. Why is the government in the business of broadcasting the news? Leave it to the private sector. Unless it wants to bombard the public with Faroole message, it needs not waste the state's resources with this.
  10. I thought this was a joke until I saw the source. Is the government in Muqdisho incompetent in protecting properties so that people are left to publicly announce their properties on internet news portals before a moor.yaan sells them to others as his.
  11. Sheikh Shakuul is the only candidate I personally know. I hope the right candidate for the job wins.

  15. I'm big on open source Mr. iNaar. Mine runs on Ubuntu. No iphones for me. I can't tolerate lock down systems. By the way, iphone aren't the only phones apps run on. Sayid Max'ed old boost mobile run some apps too.
  16. Perhaps Somalis aren't fond of Englishization of their language.
  17. There is an app for that.
  18. Jigjiga being in Ethiopia, it wouldn't be a shock if a similar one laga taago Villa Hargeysa, Villa Garoowe and Villa Somalia. And some in here proly react differently.
  19. ^It is 'this humanitarian and developmental organisation' that built and put together what you'd call Somali government today. It's them that funded, operated and re-located them to where they are today, Villa Somalia. Without 'this humanitarian and developmental organisation' efforts in Muqdisho, Somali government would not none existance. Give credit where it is due waryee.
  20. A president, vice president, 10 ministers, and 65 MP, whatever little resource meesha yaalay kuwaan beysan soo dhaafeynin. Yaa u maqan dadka horta. What's the point of 10 ministers? Ma dowlad dhexe baa meesha ka jidha?

But for all I care keep repeating that mantra, you might convince yourself that you are right:D Not right doesn't make it wrong. It's not right to go out in the rain but it isn't absolutely wrong to do so. By the way, he was called a yes man before he was sworn into office, way before he flew to Kismaayo and indulge into JL issues, way before he put on a suit as PM and stood before the cameras. I didn't make that up today. What's bugging you sxb. I just stated the fact this trip is paid for and by Somali people. What's wrong this that.
  23. ^Yes, good progress. xaaji habaar is throwing the secessionists under the bus, all for Hassan, a man he deems as the leader of the former Somali republic.
  24. lol@sense. You got that wrong sxb. I'm behind the government and I respect the office of the presidency. While I disagree with President Hassan on some issues, I think he is doing good given the circumstances the country is in. I like to think this President can pull it off. I'm not so sure about this Yes Man.
