What is feminism?,well feminism is the westerns way of trying to talk about a womens liberation which is actually a disguised form of exploitation of her body,deprivation of her honour,and degradation of her soul.! This immensely affected the Muslim countries which were lead to believe that they were lagging a few paces behind of liberating women. Lets also keep in mind that factors which encouraged the feminist movements was the influence of Christian missionaries. Its such a shame that a cause that has been around for so long hasnt achieved anything other than stripping women from their honour.As a matter of fact there is so much strain put upon women nowdays more than ever before and its quite visibale,they are extermely overworked,this all due to this so called "WOMENS FREEDOM" that has emerged.!

Salaam Call me sensitive,but whats the point of the ppl around the world wasting their precious time just to attend a nonsense protest. I have never been to a protest in my life,not even when our only masjid in my city was burned by jews. Dont get me wrong, i appualse young ppl across the world demonstrating to rally against the war on Iraq and using their intiative in organising anti-war movements,but really isnt this yelling and screaming highly irrational. We are all acutely conscious to Usa's real motives,to control Iraqs oil,to militiraly dominate the middle east and to evently overthrow Saddam. I find it hard to comprehend that ppl have the power or the will to stop Bushes goverment. War was inevitable in the first place. Anti-war movements are said to be Bush,Blair and Howards worst nighmare,but thats all rubbish. Bush is still ordering Blair and Howard to jump off the cliff and Blair and Howard are still asking how high!! Its obvious you can't create war and stimultenously create peace,Bush isnt having a hard time in grasping the implication of that. What can we do other than sit glued to oue Tvs and hear about Usa and its allies massacring innocent Iraqs. Roaming around the streets and creating a traffic chaos just to make a statement that Bush will not hear,is just unacceptable.

Now that is an astonishing sentence. What befuddles me is that child peadophiles don’t receive such harsh Penalties. A rapist is a rapist and they should face the toughest punishments. The only justification for such a heinous act was the boys were Muslims Scapegoating. These outrageous opinions provoked attacks on Lebanese Muslim communities Throughout Australia. However the Australia media turns a blind eye to the statistics that clearly show That sexual voilence occurs in all races and rape isnt associated with a particular race. What is mind blowing is the fact that the word MUSLIM was frequently used to describe The perpetrators of the crime.Its visible there is a media bias and we are continuously Reminded that Islam around the world is under intense scruntiny.

Salaam Why was somalia destroyed,i beleive without mention the qabill talk or any embattled somali presidents at all, i would have to say the fact there were no intelligent ppl who could use their own initiative to see far and the need to stop the ordinary spirits who took pride and pleasure in the downfall of others,who aimed only to thrive at others expense.The intelligent ppl were out numbered and the ordinary ppl therefore took the law into their own hands, and become vigilantes. Truthfulness and kindness are also something that was missing,which are the sings of happiness of the nation,and also within an individual.We the somali ppl didnt implement it in our day- to-day activities.Unless we do that i dont see a hope for our ppl. I dont know if that is a valid argument,but thats my beleive!

I just wish that all somali sisters would have to struggle to employ to abondon all these ridicules ideas of somali women ever playing a big role in politics,thus we should note that sahabiyat ( women companions)have played a prominent roles in politics.We should understand that men have a degree over us,therefore their are our leaders. Anyway look at New Zealand we have women prime minister,after all we are the first country in the world to allowe women to vote,yet the most so called civilised country in the world has not yet had a women president. Imagine a somali women running for elections, what can i say but that i will ridicule her with laughter knowing the fact that somali society still desires a women to be utterly useless. :eek:

Salaam What the west lack so much today is the regulation of how the family functions,homes are reunied famalies are split ,what they are missing is the aspects of ibadah(worship)of allah and mu'amala (trascations between human beings). Family is the core of islamic society,its about spouses living together in love security and tranquility and also teaching their children Allah commadaments. It is narrated by Anas that the messager of Allah(peace be upon him) said "when a man marries he has fulfilled half of his religion,so let him fear allah regarding the remaining half". Marriage is like a sheild which protects all evil from a family. Marriage is the key to bringing a famalies life into existence.

We are aware of zina and why we should refrain from adultry and fornocating.The first revelation about zina in the Qu'an was reveled to none other than women it said: " if any of your women are guilty of adultry,take the evidence of four(reliable) witness from amongst them ,and if they testify confine them to houses until death do claime them or allah ordains for them some (other) way.(4:15). The second revelation of zina in the Qu'an adressed both genders,its clear that women are at risk these days.Zina is most commited by our young who live up to the expectations of such a pleasure seeking or pleasure orentiated society of the west which is a burden on our muslim youths now days. The serve punishments of zina,for unmarried person is one hundrd lashes and exile for a year where as a married person is stoned to death. It is a must one reminds a virgin until marriage,unless they want to go through such harsh punishments.Surely one must be a fool to commite a crime so great and not repent,as Allah is the forgiving one.
