  1. Wa salaam, Juxa. Hope you're well? A bit of sunshine never hurts, but it's cloudy my end.

Why do us like that? We'll get to the books eventually. Lol @ 'Waited six years for A Dance with Dragons'. Must have been painful.
  4. Guten morgen from Munich. It barely feels like spring but hayfever is already kicking my behind.
  5. Lol @ caydh. Thanks all. AB - you are being awfully nice today. Tolow maxaa jira?
  6. Jumca mubaarak to you and everyone else, MAlika. Decided to log on via my phone and the predictive txt is a hassle. Moving to a senior post on Monday, IA. Woo hoo!

  8. I'm ridiculously excited about it too. Counting down the days I'A.
  9. 10 years, huh? Why does it feel more like 50? Happy anniversary, UD.
  10. Honestly guys. Howdy OZ, how's it going?
  11. Geel, precious Geel. What majestic animals. Last I knew, hashu waxay ahayd around $200-$250, but that was a while ago.
  12. ^ Impressive. I have seen a few places in Europe, SE Asia and Oceania but not enough.
  13. Insomnia miyaa, JB? I can't sleep either. My nerves are shredded from this week.
  14. Django was pretty offensive to the senses. I think I'm officially off Tarantino films. I have also just started reading Cloud Atlas and I'm in two minds about seeing the film. What if it spoils the book for me?
  15. If that happened to her on the Tube, I shudder to think what happens on the buses. Where's a Russian with sulphuric acid when you need one?
  16. A blessed 2013 to Aaliyah and all Solers. Insha'Allah khayr.
  17. Apophis, Django Unchained is one of the movies I am looking forward to this coming year as well, Insha'Allah, along with the Star Trek sequel and World War Z. SeeKer;899780 wrote: Anyone watched Baytown Outlaws? This seems quite a bit like Smoking Aces, doesn't it? I've ordered it off Amazon!

Several days I have to abandon writing stories because a curious daughter who now learned how to read just likes to sit next to me and starts to read each line I type. Few minutes ago, I have to abondon a story because here she was again...And she gets when I switch to another page. ..Aabo, this is not what you were writing when I came. ...It was saying "why she wondered ..." Can I read that one kulahaa? No, aabo, that one is for the office, I say embaraased. :D Masha'ALLAH, she's a quick one, your little one! Malika and Juxa, I hear you - it's fiction and Abtigiis is a gifted writer, no question, I just found the plot a bit crass.
  20. Turning a mother into a whore and then killing her with guilt and depression. Nice.
  21. Things seem to have intensified since the recession, I think. It's pretty brutal out there, so not at all surprised that people are resorting to extreme measures.
  22. ^ Salaams B, glad to hear your little one is on the mend, Ilaahay mahadii. (And what did you have planned for today then?) Today is shaping up to be another mild and blessed day, Alhamdulilaah.
  23. Malika, you're so sweet! Enjoy your duvet-day and don't feel guilty, you more than deserve it! I thought schools had broken up though? Hi Juxa, the day is almost over, so I think your 'ME' time can safely start? I have been off this week and won't be going back to work til the 2nd, Insha'Allah. I will be missing Ibti unfortunately, but hope you all have a lovely time Insha'Allah.
  24. ^ Hello luv, hope you are enjoying the holidays? Yup, it was very delicious and all the more so because hubby trudged through the snow to get me a freshly-made slice. This Mayan Doomsday stuff has put the fear of God into kids. My little cousin texted me 'Bye and see you in heaven' xalayto in case the world ended today. But it's nice that he thinks I am heaven-bound.
