A Revolution against Somalia’s Assassination Spree is a Must
NGONGE replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
I actually sent the quote below to the website and the boys at Hiiran were good enough to reply. I must confess that I am happy with their reply. Originally posted by NGONGE: Dear Sir, I fully agree with your recent editorial regarding the assassinations of important Somali personalities. This is unacceptable, intolerable and wrong. When these dark and unknown forces were killing our women and children, we did not like it but hoped that things will get better with time. However, now that they're hunting down our aristocrats we cannot stand by and let it happen no more. The TFG should station at least one fully operational technical outside the houses of all important Somali people. Engineers, humanitarians and foreign visitors should each have at least half a dozen bodyguards. Sir, we are happy to sacrifice our infant children for a better Somalia. We don't like that our women are oppressed and raped but we shall happily grin and bear it. However, when these animals start targeting our aristocrats is when we shall have enough and demand a revolution. How dare they kill ina hebel eyo ina hebel eyo ina hebel? Don't they know this is not how it was meant to be? Only the peasants were supposed to be the cannon fodder. But now that they're killing our aristocrats, we demand a revolution. Come on all ye Somalis, join me in the deafening chant of: SAVE OUR ARISTOCRATS. This is what they said (and I hope I'm not infringing any copy right rules here): Thanks for the note; You were bit sarcastic, but you made important points with regards to defending the vulnerable members of society. This time around we focused on the assassination / murder issue. We agree with you the children women, and elders are the largest victims. We defended them in the past and we will in the future. Furthermore, If you look the faces of the victims and these are real people - you will know many of them are young, Nasteh, the BBC reporter and the Osman Ali, the UNDP worker, are good examples and they are NOT aristocrats as you seem to repeat. It just beats us why someone will take a contrarian position with regards to an issue as straight forward as denouncing assassination and murder. -
Xiin, War raggan ka hadh. All they want is war and fighting, saaxib. Come to Somaliland and I shall tell anyone who asks that you are my half brother.
-
Just because you used the word newbie I'm obliged to say ASL?
-
Duke reminds me of a greedy child that already has his mouth full but still insists on picking up all the cakes on the table. Mind you don't choke there, saaxib.
-
^^ Stop encouraging them to gurgle. Or, in other words, nini wiwi dada po... Better still, mchovya asali hachovi mara moja

^^ If not the one Ibti pointed out then there is always the one in your last post.

Somalia: Is Separation of Religion and State Important?
NGONGE replied to dhulQarnayn's topic in Politics
^^ To his whims of course (as any Arab mullah would tell you). And right now he's in the mood for mugging an Arab. -
There is an irony overload on this thread.
-
^^ Only CL would call them inappropriate and that's just because she fancies me. It's an education thread you know. A coming of age if you like.
-
Stuff and nonsense.
-
That goes without saying. But I bet even my guru would do the same if that were the case. It is not of course. How about you, Xiin? Will you admit how wrong you were when SL gets its recognition or will you join the protesting voices? Castro, Be my guest. But I hope you will be gentlemen enough to hide this fact if circumstances change and we accidentally happen to be in Borama as the TFG arrives on Ethiopian tanks and demand to know if we ever supported this Somaliland idea (don't shake your head guru, needs must, needs must).
-
Marx, I hope you're happy now.
-
^^ My coming out party was on the LA thread earlier in the year, saaxib. You seem to have missed it. I am a full-blown secessionist now (and I use the term in all its pejorative glory). ps A&T, I see that like an already wet cat you're skirting round the topic and refusing to wade right in. Don't be shy now. Give us your take on the whole thing. pps My few friends from your part of the world always talk about their very own secession (as strange as that sounds). Any truth to the story?
-
^^ I will watch it when I get home. At work I can only watch clips with no sound (actually, I can but I had no headphones). (lovely morning, ain't it?)
-
^^ He just wants to see how good looking she is (the Ms might mean she's single). Originally posted by Ibtisam: What?? are you kidding me?? Please tell me you are joking. How can you proud of such thing?? You should go and sit with the rest as protest of this racist treatment! Busybody

Well done, Marx. You're finally a man, my son.
-
^^ What do you know? You've been a smelly student all your life. How tall you are has nothing to do with it. It all depends on how crowded the train is. ps I am miles taller than you. So don't bother breaking your neck trying to look up.
-
Will you be able to take the train when they eventually start that service? I so want you to be stuck in a crowded one and get to sniff some of Mumbai's finest armpits.
-
^^ Quick, bring out the air freshners, saaxib. I think we got us a student here.
-
What an explicit poem. Heh. Who is it by, Paragon? (not you I hope).
-
Last week of August will still be hot, Lily. North, I hope you didn't phone from the scene of the accident and tried to describe the scene to the family.
-
Muchos shukria, LOZ. Still sounds like a choking baby though.
-
Heh@LOZ. What does it really mean? (I'm not talking about your lack of sleep).
