  3. France don't have a Zidane but the manager is still the same one that got them to the final in 2006. The problem with them is that they always start slowly (like Italy) and this (like in Euro 2004) might get them knocked out in the first round. However, if they manage to get to the knockout stages they will still be a force to be reckoned with (look at the team they have). I still can't see beyoned Spain though.
  4. ^^ As if all the other mad stuff he wrote was true and only the Garads point was the sticking one!
  5. ^^ Talo Maaddeey ma kugo raacsanahay on this righteous path stuff?
  6. NO FAULT IN WOMEN No fault in women, to refuse The offer which they most would chuse. --No fault: in women, to confess How tedious they are in their dress; --No fault in women, to lay on The tincture of vermilion; And there to give the cheek a dye Of white, where Nature doth deny. --No fault in women, to make show Of largeness, when they're nothing so; When, true it is, the outside swells With inward buckram, little else. --No fault in women, though they be But seldom from suspicion free; --No fault in womankind at all, If they but slip, and never fall. Robert Herrick
  7. Planning is indeed needed, Ibti. But certainly not by you. You'll condemn all people of a certain age and sift through the society to pick out the good and bad like you would sift through an apple basket. Wax fahan.
  8. ^^ You need peace, you mad hippy. Everything else falls into place after that. And, no, I do not agree on the psychological damage or trauma point. It is why I brought the taxi driver example. Can you be trumatised when war is all you have known? Your idea is good but your method and explanation are as raw as a newly employed NGO.
  9. Cowke, You're killing this (crazy) discussion with your stubbornness now. If all you are about are political interests then you must care about SL and everything that goes in SL (including the bit of info Oodweyne just offered you). Wax fahan.
  10. ^^ Not going in circles at all. 1) Tooba and the reform of one's character go hand in hand or else the tooba itself is not real. 2) People throughout history have banded behind an idea (tooba could easily be one). The ICU was one (the failures of the admin do not negate the efforts of the populace at the time). 3) But it can and it did. It only takes a few to peddle the idea and a few to follow it before it becomes an avalanche of "my beard is longer than yours". Wax fahan. 4) Stop playing with your beads. Trauma is a norm in this instance. We are not talking about the privileged people of Cornwall being attacked by a mad taxi driver. 5) And I am not rejecting that. I reject your argument that people over a certain age cannot be rehabilitated unless done through some elaborate and expensive western system.
  11. ^^ Social ills such as? Can you have tooba without reform?
  12. Originally posted by *Ibtisam: ^^^Yes there is an age limit for reform when resources are so limited, as is the case in Somalia. It is more difficult to reform adults than children. Lool @ Is dil, now you think I am the new Marx/ B? Nonsense. You are trying to apply western methods and thoughts to an eastern problem. Plus, if that is the case, where would you put the sudden achievements of the Islamic Courts two years ago? Where does the concept of tooba come into this sandle-wearing-bead-dangling-whale-saving view of yours?
  13. Cowke, you're putting all your eggs in the basket marked 'UDUB V Kulmiye' but you happily ignore the fact that SL has a third political party that will not be happy with an UDUB interference with the elections (if such a wild thing should ever happen). You're also basing your mad theories on the assumption that Kulmiye will actually go to war if they lost this election (by fair or foul means). But what gives you such an impression? Is it Kulmiye's limp wristed reaction to the last two postponements of the elections? Surely, your entire analysis rests on the simple premise that Kulmiye will go to war but there is no evidence from recent history that it will, saaxib. Is it a case of the last straw that broke the camel's back? And this is what you believe Faroole is basing his entire strategy on? Adeer sonkortaad badsataa ayaan o maleenaya ee yara yareeso, ama gabigiida ba iska jooji.
  14. Originally posted by me: A man claiming to be from Taleex, yet considering himself to be a Puntlander rather than an SSC'er is nothing short of a traitor of his homeland. Correct me if I am wrong. Hurrah! The penny finally dropped. Clan is indeed everything.
  15. ^^ He's royally losing the plot here. It's quite entertaining to read.
  16. ^^ You believe there is an age limit for reform? Ugly. Ugly. Ugly. Do what the article say and is dil dee.
  17. ^^ Your last paragraph sounded ugly.
  18. ^^ I've long been of the opinion that women are all mad. For most, the concept of apology (kissing or not) to the same gender is quite alien. Originally posted by *Ibtisam: ^^Ma baby la sasabayo aya tahey?? Or maybe because they know you are Arab-fied hence the neck kissing thing Sheh, Errrg** Which is why I said it is patronising. This is no invention of mine, this actually happens (not just to me, I've seen it with others too).
  19. The type of privileged nonsense people have whilst sipping a glass of wine in some middle class living room. A non argument really. Ibti, Ibti, Ibti catch yourself, dear.
  20. ^^ I know the Arabs do. But when an Arab attempts to kiss you in apology you could actually see it a mile coming. With Somalis it is all sudden; one minute you're arguing, the next he's trying to kiss your head as he shouts 'bes bes'. Ayoub, you need to get out more, saaxib. Aduunka ba la ma socotid.
  21. Oh. God! The bloody girls are going to be talking football for a month.
  22. ^^ The idea is to sit back quietly and take advantage of any opportunities, guru. It's not politic to wish for the demise of a local opponent. This election fever is distracting you, saaxib. I am with Garaad Jamaac on this.
  23. ^^ King has been in better form because Rio only played about twelve games all season. However, whilst King has been playing against Wigan, Hull and Burnley, Ferdinand was involved in CL games against (slightly) bigger teams.
  24. ^^ I'll have to, I'm with Spain after all. Anyway, since this section is full of Timmy-Two-Teams, I see no reason why I should stick with one prediction. Therefore, Spain is my choice followed by Brazil followed by Maradonna's boys. But I really can't see past Spain. P.S. Since you're an occasional Liverpool fan, you may enjoy watching Pepe Reina's clip on YouTube. Search for his name and the word Camerero. Brilliant stuff.
