  1. ^^ with the guys, I needed a visual representation but the girls are all easy. You don't even need to picture their faces..waa wada H.A.C (Hijab, Abaya, Cardigan). Here is Xiin by the way:
  2. A&T waakan: Anna waykan (sometimes with and sometimes without the hair): Jacaylbaro wakaaa (): Here is Norf:
  3. ^^ You mean you wouldn't watch it again if it were on TV? Fickle fooqal fickle.
  4. ^^ The Stoke that drew with Chelsea you mean? War bahasha baro dee.
  5. Yes. I watched the game live, I always watch the games live (if they're on TV). I also watched on MOTD and then got to watch it all over again on LFC TV. I'll even probably watch it again tonight (if the Arsenal game turns out to be a boring one). p.s. When I say "watch", I actually follow the flow of game and not the ball, like you and Ayoub.

  7. A home draw on the first game of the season is not a bad result. The performance mertied more than that though. Onwards and upwards.
  8. The UN produced a list of donors of aid to Somalia the other day. The USA was at the top with almost 600 million dollars worth of aid, the UK was second followed by Japan and Australia and then, came the biggest Muslim donor (no, it was not Turkey and it hardly ever publicises it's donations or future visits to stricken lands).
  9. ^^ Dee iga maad jawaabin. Imaka ninkano warwarka dilay maxaan ku idhaahda? Juxa waa bila telefoon miya? (I did tell him that it would seem inappropriate for me to ask but he gave me a long emotional lecture about walaaltinimo, ramadan and messangers that should never be shot). Salaam all.
  10. ^^ Maya. I got a call from A&T (after months of silence). He was worried about YOU and believes that your shop (yeah, I know) might have got burned by the rioters. He asked for your number so that he can phone you and extend his sympathies/understanding...err. That's the message, I think.
  11. Where is Juxa? I have a message for her and I hate carrying messages for too long. So bax eedo.
  12. What sort of grave allegation, Alpha? (bear in mind that we can go evil with our guesses or we can just limit it to bed-wetting escapades).

Liverpool are still way weaker than 08/09. Lack of a top quality playmaker in midfield, no reliable proper left back who can stay fit for longer than 25 minutes, Carragher's age and continued deterioration in ability, Agger being a sicknote, new signings yet to prove themselves. There aren't any inconsistencies in suggesting they have some very good players as there are still areas they are comparatively weak in and need to improve. If Ngog's the only striker on the bench and Kyrgiakos is the main back-up at CB (whilst Agger's out for months at a time) and they're playing a different LB every week like last season - then a challenge for 4th is as good as it'll get. Ps: I don't think loserpool's problem is to beat the mancs, chelsea, Arsenal and spudz week in, week out, they need to beat the sides who they are better than week in, week out. 28 games are against sides other than those five, only 10 games are against them and if they win maybe 21-24 of those games against the rest then they might just manage it with a decent record in the other 10 games. Pss: What are your ambitions Norf and Ng? EPL titile, Champions league semi or a good FA run up. As for the left back, you'll be glad to hear that we just bought Newcastle's Jose Enrique (to add to Aurilo, Insua, Robinson & Johnson). On the point of having a playmaker (do Chelsea and United have one by the way?) you must have forgotten about Aquilani, Gerrard & Adam whoc an all claim to be such a person (though, personally, I believe our "playmaker" is a certain Lucas Leiva). Football is a game that is centred around the middle of the park, saaxib. It's why the likes of Barca (though they have able defenders and attackers) dominate everyone. It is also why a team like Arsenal (with their awful defence and forever injured attack) still seem to win the majority of their games. But, even more importantly, and since you yourself mentioned it, it is why Liverpool played well and finished second in 08/09 (it was only Alonso that was sold after all). So, as Kenny clearly knows and understands, fix the middle and you'll fix most the problems the team might have, which is why he's filling his team with midfielders that can play all across the middle. On the attacking front, we have our two main strikers (with Suarez having a good history of injury) plus we also have the never-say-die machine that is Kuyt (he scored his highest number of goals during the two seasons when he was asking to play upfront). Ngog himself is not a bad striker when the rest of the team are playing well (though there are rumours that he might go to Bolton). All in all, I think we have a team strong enough to challange for the title (it all depends on the kind of start we have). I really believe that we'll win trophies this season.
  14. War bacad al ciid ka dhig. This, whilst very entertaining and interesting, is also a tad heavy on a hungry belly and a mind that's attempting to remain sombre.

  16. Fish for suxur, Val? You're not right in the head, dear, not right in the head at all. Plus, you'll be thirsty like hell the following day.
  17. ^^ I've already told you a million times adeer, I only chew on eids, weddings and fuenrals. So, no, I did not chew.
  18. ^^ It's a poster by the American army about the snakes in Somalia. War labaatan ka badan. I've always said that if I were given a choice between fighting a snake or a lion, I'd choose the lion. You can reason with a lion (or even beat it away) but never a snake.

  22. ^^ That's not too scary. I just told you that I got over my phobia of snakes behind a glass. p.s. He wasn't angry, he thought it was funny (kids are cruel).
  23. I wish Somali women were second class citizens. I really do.
  24. Heh. The sheikh reminds me of the one in the only Somali book I read (Roge). He too would use erotic terms to describe the Islamic relationship between men and women. His though was pure khayaali ("dumarka dirixi ba ku jira oo waxa kaliya dirxiga dili kara waa biyaha ragga, etc"). The author was using this madness to mock the prevalance of ignorant mullahs who allow their flights of fancy to dictate their sermons. Welcome back xaaji. Cagahaaga dhaadheer ma ilaaa Bay & Bakool ayaay ku gayeen? 4.5 indeed. p.s. This must clearly kill the rumour (started by Xiin) that you were away running the affairs of Azania State.
