  1. ^^ I ordered a pizza and stayed at home to avoid all the "lets chew" offers. But then I got caught up with the football news and didn't eat the pizza. My lovely swarm of bees returned home in the evening and eat it before I could say "maan qadiin". So, yeah, my eid was great. p.s. I was ordered by the powers that be to extened you an invitation for this weekend but I forgot, on purpose (dee you can come any time. Dad aan garanayo can't and therefore they deserve a night a way from the buuq, not that I'm calling you buuq of course).
  2. ^^ And that will be their downfall. Spurs this season is much much weaker than the team they had last season. If they sold Modric they could at least have been able to buy four players with that money (and knowing old 'arry's track record, he would have bought some good players).
  3. Good stuff. I was wondering what happend to such news during ramadan. Good to be back on track.

Nothing to do with being less promiscuous and more to do with simple biology. If you wear a hat and then go to frolic in the sand, there is a very good chance that some of the sand will get caught in the hat (or under it). If you were not wearing a hat on the other hand, you could simply shake the sand off without any remaining on your head. (was that a tasteful explanation, I wonder! ).
  5. ^^ I know. His fault was that he scored against Chelsea last season dee. Roman's idea of a good player is one that scores against his team (Torres scored against them, they bought him. Beni scored against them, they bought him. Gerrard scored against them, they tried to buy him). Lets hope they've had enough of buying LFC players and start to turn their attention to Spurs now.
  6. ^^ Drogba's injury will clear up by the time the team is back to playing in eight days time. As for Chelsea, their main problem last season was that they had no creative person in the middle. They had a similar problem to the one Liverpool had in Rafa's final season (two holding midfielders playing in the middle and Gerrard mostly injured). In fact, I think Essian had the most passes in the PL last season! But what could Essian, Ramierz or Lampard do with the ball when they've got it in the middle of the pitch? All three are great players but "creating" is not one of their strongest points. Raul, though hardly played in the middle by both LFC managers last season (shows his versatality) did so in the game away to Spurs. And although we lost that game (more to do with Hodgson than the players themselves), he did dominate the middle alongside Lucas and create lots of chances for Ngog & Torres (imagine if it were Torres, Drogba, Anelka, Kalu or even the new kids who were playing and imagine the goals that could be scored if anyone but Hodgson was manager). Raul also played really well in the world cup. He's great as an attacking midfeilder but he could also sit back and dictate the play (which is why Chelsea were lacking after releasing Ballack & Deco). Still, should he get injured for a long period of time, Chelsea will be back to their stop-start way of playing. This promises to be a very very exciting season. Bring it on!

Lakin anigo waxaan kugo ogaa that when you report the news you also (usually) comment on it! You didn't this time and I was wondering if there was something amiss. That's all. LST, ragga ha igu dirin dee. I were merely trying to extract an opinion from Maaddeey. Wouldn't you want to know his view on these events? (XX, as he always told us, is just reporting the news).
  8. ^^ I love it without the family, thank you.
  9. ^^ Somali women are mad ban ku idhi. This mosque-going fad is nothing but an attempt to keep appearnces (I suspect). But that does not annoy me as much as the Somali TV callers.
  10. ^^ Love the story (even more so as it proves my point). As for the two other points you rejected, well I suppose you would (being a woman and all that). But I would be interested if someone does a survey one of those days and finds out how many women leave their underage kids at home whilst going to the mosque (in Ramadan mostly). I find it IMPOSSIBLE that ALL these women are either single or have found readymade babysitters. As for being mad, I've been tempted to start a thread that proves it but didn't want to upset Juxa (I only try not to upset Juxa, mind. Other women are too mad to sue me).
  11. ^^ Joking aside, I have now changed my mind about women in mosques. In the past, I had no problem with the idea and thought that women should demand (through the right channels) to be given more spaces. Now though, I am fully against the idea of women going to mosques. My reasons? * They make an awful racket * They forget where they are * Many leave their kids at home in order to be seen in a mosque * Somali women are mad * They pick and choose mosques according to the sweet voices of the Imams there Dee naga daaya.
  12. Oz, Raul is the buy of the season for you guys. He's the link that your team has been missing for the past two years and I am willing to wager that he will start every single game for you this season. I am sad that he left us but not as gutted as Norf is.
  13. ^^ Badawda marka hore "fashion" o aheed ayaa ka il baxay. Carabtayada (Norf now qualifies, after six years) its a way of life.
  14. ^^ Seven years later, you come to prove my point. BAX!
  15. ^^ War when are we going to have us some shiisha ninyaho? Get the boys together before you leave and lets do it. I hear it's safe to come out now, C&H has left town.

You would be much more interesting had you left such topics alone and concentrated on football instead. But that's not really why I thought you and your topic were boring, adeer. p.s. Arsenal losing by eight goals is the height of entertainment, wax fahan.
  17. Tuujiye, Every time Chelsea buy a player from us you claim he was the only player that you liked in Liverpool. I have to admit that Chelsea now look a lot more stronger with Raul in the middle than they did before. Still, I am more than happy with the deals Liverpool made and strongly believe that we are going to win the league (Suarez is worth the entire Chelsea team on his own nooh). Arsenal have made a couple of good deals and may actually have a chance now.
  18. I only read the first post dee. You don't expect me to read every rubbish that is posted on here, do you?
  19. What a boring topic. Where did we get all these new people from?
  20. Good stuff. What's the betting that the Imam is going to throw a spanner in the works within weeks of this agreement?
  21. It is reported that IKEA have donated 62 million dollars worth of aid! Poeple on the ground claim that this aid consists of sacks of rice, oil and cake topping.
  22. Arsenal were missing lots of players and even though they lost by eight goals they still managed to carve United open on several occassions. I still reckon they'll challange for the top four. I am not sure Chelsea and United are as good as people think they are. The title, as I keep telling you over and over, is ours yaa naas.
  23. Can just imagine a bored Turkish family feeling bored and thinking of ways to brighten their lives. Oh yes! Adopt a Somali kid. On a serious note, good on Turkey or any other place that views the suffering of those kids and decides to step in and save them.
  24. Quite upset that I did not have my customary ciid bundle this year. Didn't want to come to work with qaadirad. Eid mubarak all.
