See what I mean? They went and twisted my words already. Somali women are naturally mad. I have already started to spot the early warning signs with my own girls. But I blame the men who married them even though they know they're mad and then could not hack the crazy experience.

Somali women are mad and therefore I put all the blame on the men.

Had I said that Juxa carries lots of law books around she would have been offended.

What a depressing topic! I don't think I actually own anything these days. Well apart from the clothes on my back. I know that I pay for stuff all the time but I don't own any of them. I must indluge myself I suppose. How much do radios cost again? (the police one will be great).

I'm with VAL there. You need to talk for a full ten minutes to explain that one needs and MRI scan. Worse still, with you FEMME, you'll probably have to repeat it to the patiant, his family and half of his visitors. Heh.

It’s the one people are talking about. You brought up the citizenship issue. Dee we agree on things needing to be done correctly. You shouted it whilst I murmured it. Maxaad kale aad iga rabtaa? The way the minister announced it is irrelevant (it still needs to be done correctly according to what we perceive as correctly). Waar bal yaabkan eega Ps remember that article I sent to you recently? No policies & procedures, no clarity etc etc. Dee waa tan. Dee you shouldn't murmer ya tacbaan. These are the issues to shout about. And yes, this is exactly like the article you sent me but since something like this encourages an ugly trend it is something that all decent people should oppose until and unless it is done correctly. ^^ You do realise that SL, PL & TFG will be involved in this, don't you? Ok, maybe not in their "official" capacities but since there are some in the SSC community who support these different entities, they will obviously try to forward their own agenda and argument in this meeting. Therefore, SL would not need to derail anything. This is good news and it all depends on the political and argumentative skills of each faction.

Oz;744610 wrote: Lol Do you think you´re as good as united right now then? Only areas Liverpool rival United is centre midfield for depth, United have more strength in depth when it comes to defenders, wingers and strikers plus I'd say generally their first choice in each being stronger too. United still own Liverpool as their respective 8-2 and 2-0 wins over Arsenal showed quite explicitily. So is citeh hammering spurs 5-0 Chelsea did start well last season true, also they had an aging team right, do you see an aging team to the two I've mentioned? Tuujiye, will be there competing with them but taking the title between the four teams, spurs and gunners are not. I disagree on every count. Our first eleven are as good as any of the top four. I would not swap our four strikers for any that United have, saaxib (Chelsea & City have better but do they gel?). Our defence is actually BETTER than United's who only have Vidic, Evra & Rio as the three experienced defenders. We have Carra, Skrtel & Agger (plus Coats, Kelly, Wilson). But our left and right backs are better than United's and we have more options in that area (as last season showed). I don't really need to mention the middle of the park or the keeper. United beating Arsenal by eight goals was a simple fluke. Add to that the fact that we played Arsenal away whilst United played them at home and the fact that the gunners had a better team against us than the one that played United. As for Spurs, we play them in two weeks time. Watch us go, saaxib. p.s. Under Dalglish, we have not lost to any of the top four teams (well, if you discount United in his first game back). That was when we didn't have the strength in depth that we have now. Open your eyes, saaxib. The reds are coming nooh. Tuujiye, Chelsea have a better team than last season and should walk the league. But I am not sure that AVB was given enough time to work on this squad. Even worse, Roman's obsession with the CL may mess up your title challange.

N.O.R.F;744595 wrote: So, you agree it needs to be done. Whats with all the fan fair then? You're mixing two issues here. One is the need for people living in SL to be documented (which you agree needs to be done) and the other is one of immigration. The latter is not what the government is doing (or even contemplating). If you see my previous posts (even the one you quoted) I did express concern that things are not very clear as to how this (the requirement for everyone to be documented) will be implemented. Wax fahan Yes there are two issues here and you (blindly) decided to support the minor one. Yours is a case of control and adminstration. It pales into insignificance when compared to the xenophobic way the minister announced it. Now, whilst I agree that something has to be done, I am clear enough on the need for it to be done CORRECTLY. So, when a minister threatens SL citizens with dire consequences for harbouring immigrants, the whole issue of "something being done" becomes secondary for me and the problem of injustice begins to take precedence. Wax fahan.

El Punto, Yes. But a fair law does not work along the lines of "for the vast majority..etc..etc". As for how these people come in, it actually works out both way. Many Somalilanders travel to Ethiopia without any papers or permits. I am not sure if they're getting deported too. This might be a genuine attempt by the SL authorities to control immigration. However the language being used and unrealistic targets also make it look like a disgusting case of xenophobia. Xaaji Xunjuf;744460 wrote: Ngonge awoow you are comparing Tufaax with Liin. How can you compare Somaliland with European countries or North American countries, so what if there are other Somali refugees in the west America it's self is the land of the Immigrants no one can claim America except the red Indians . Wasn't Kenya complaining about Somali refugees in Kenya and even when Somalia was hit by drought and mass famine broke out there , Didn't the Kenyan authorities say somalis must leave our Country. I compare SL to all countries of the world, saaxib. Adiga ma dawlad baad doonaysa mise maqaaxi? Dawlad haday tahay dee waa in ay dawlad mab'da leh noqoto oo xaqqa tageerta mar walba. Anigu mab'da ahaan baan ka hadlaya saaxib. AfricaOwn;744446 wrote: Doing it correctly? 30 days isn't enough for you, what is the correct way of handling this situation? And you really believe that getting rid of a hundred thousand people (as the SL government claims) within one month gives everyone ample time to state their case or those genuine enough to be allowed to stay? You believe that a government that threatens its own citizens with "consequences" for helping such people is going to be fair to said people? This is correct in your eyes, is it? There are many acceptable ways that the government can deal with this. First of all, they can break these immigrants into different categories and give them different deadlines (for their cases to be looked out and heard). For example, a man that arrives today should not be treated in the same way to one that lived in SL for ten/fifteen years. A family with young children should not be pushed out unprepared, etc. But, most of all, the government should watch the way it speaks and deals with such issues. I believe they have failed on every count.

N.O.R.F;744441 wrote: Ngonge, but this isn't about immigration. Its about migration. Wax fahan Those who wish to be in SL must have the right paperwork. Even you must have the right paperwork on the very occassional times you go there ($50 is paper). Not a big deal really. What you must understand is that this needs to be done. Maybe a bit more sensitively but needs to be done nontheless. Warya, don't put my blood pressure up dee. That it needs to be done is not in question or else there will be no point in having a country, borders or sovereignty! However, the argument here is on how it is being done. THIRTY DAYS to deport people? Add to that the background of the issue. I am not making things up here, I am just looking at your racist reactions, saaxib. Look at XX talking about Siilaanyo's grandfather, look at Val asking about the maids, look at Zack getting upset at first then accepting the argument once he found out that they are not Somalis from the south! Do it correctly and fairly and I am right behind it. Do it in the Farole style and I will point out your hypocracy, saaxib. Wax fahan.

You're whole point is they live there and we don't these oromos make our streets unsafe the money they beg goes straight back to Ethiopia they hardly spend money in Somaliland so their money or hard worked money will nor circulate in the country or should i say the money they begged they don't use the public transport the rather walk. whats the point of keeping these species , atleast the koonfurians they rent our houses they spend their money in the country they pay tax and some of them even invest in the country. So are you saying there are no Somalis living in the west and are on the dole like there are Somalis also living in the West and having jobs? What makes you different to an Oromo living in H town and working as a xamaal or toilet cleaner? As for sending money to Ethiopia, don't Somalis where you live now send money back to relatives in SL? War isku xishow dee. Waxaad ku hadlayid macqool maaha. Norf, In a somewhat ideal world, I'd expect the government to have secure borders and deal with illegal immigrants appropriatly. However, it is not ideal and SL (though making great strides when it comes to governing and adminstration) is still way below the accepted competence level. To push through the argument of immigration without proper checks or opposition is the height of injustice. Worse still, for a country where a large part of the natives have sampled the humiliation of migration and xenophobia it becomes even more disgusting when due care and understanding is not applied to the case of their own immigrants. Wax fahan.

AfricaOwn;744430 wrote: Worked up? You're something like a Seethrough lingerie. We can see through the lines you write. Seriously old man, sit down somewhere lol. This is not about SL inability to stop immigrants from sneaking in. This is about establishing a pattern/ policies that should be followed. The US still have problems with immigrants from Mexico from sneaking in. I spoke to you in a language you understand, son. It worked too, here you are actually trying to put your point across. Well done. The US also discussed given them an amnesty. Still, whilst SL might not have the financial or practical ability of the US to stop, monitor and deport "illegals", it should at least have the humanity to deal with each case on its merits. Why should a poor xamaal that worked his backside off for ten years in (and for) SL have to suffer deportation just because of the whim of some shortsighted and xenophobic Somalilander (or even for the patterns & policies you speak about).

N.O.R.F;744428 wrote: Are you advocating for Ethiopians to be given SL citizenship NG? Why not? You spend several years in the UK and get given a British citizenship, why then begrudge a poor Ethiopian the chance to have an SL one if that's what he desires and if he fulfills a fair criteria? Here, the pathetic argument of this Kulmiye party (and most SL parties as a whole) is that they have a few 'accepted' refugees and many illegal immigrants. But did they take into account the length of stay, the jobs done, etc? It does not sound like it. The only criteria here seems that if you're an Oromo you are out (I'm going by the comment that some ETHIOPIANS have already been recognised as refugees).
