  1. Morning all. Wyre, did you finally work it out? Hada I tried twice and you are still badow.
  2. ^^ Sorrry, Khadar. I don't believe a word you say saaxib.
  3. A brilliant waste of time. Did they pick up any dog mess?
  4. Xiin, Gabaal represents a faction that is opposed to Axmed Madoobe. He (and some news sources) claim that Barre Hirale is the president of Jubbaland and that he has the power and support that allows him to rain in Madoobe's parade. You claim the opposite. The one clear thing here is that there IS a dispute in that part of Somalia and, because of the nature of the dispute, it threatens to destroy whatever little gains the federal government has made in the last few months. There must be a way for all sides to reach an agreement without anyone losing face, saaxib. Or do you always need Mahiga to chair any reconciliation meetings?
  5. Saalax, After the LA incident the other day with some people doing to what can be described as a "slow clap" for Xaabsade, I reckon you need to ease up on the attacks on Khaatumo, saaxib. Their leaders may be going about it the wrong way, their commentators might put off any listeners with the silly propaganda they employ (from plans to kill Saado Cali to the recent one about Galyedh), however, there is no clearer sign that the people of LA are unhappy as when you see them do such a thing on the 18th of May. That's something that no matter how much I chose to turn a blind eye to or spin, I really can't ignore.
  6. Juxa, ask him if I'm not right in calling him a badow. Car maya ha yidaahdo.
  7. ^^ I would be lying if I claimed that I understood any of what you wrote there, pauper. What is in the news and what has my stance got to do with it?
  8. I am not sure why Juxa, Norf and Alpha are getting all worked up over whatever terms of endearment I chose to bestow on Wyre. Mind your own shaqo, people.
  9. The talks will resume in less than sixty days. The talks are about solving this little problem. In the meanwhile, Hassan can talk of midnimo all he wants and Siilaanyo can talk of independence all he likes.
  10. ^^ Me too. But since I did it on Friday, I think I'll leave it for a few more days.
  11. Wyre..what can I do if you're a badow warya? Salaam all.
  12. genius pauper.;952469 wrote: @ngonge, your stance that ''we are all bad guys'' is not sincere enough and real. either you condone the status quo, or you are overriding an ill view you hold. Sincere or not does not matter online, saaxib. All you have to worry about here is if the words make sense or not. A conference that ignores the pleas of the federal government and goes on to elect a president only for the federal government to hit back with a hand granade called Hirale, shows ALL sides to be BAD. Wax fahan. Chimera, War don't give me a full defence of your person dee. I am not too bothered about your noble positions regarding clans, uncles or countries. I only deal with the words you write and how I preceive these words. If you choose to discuss politics (which you have done there and repeated by making the Democrat/Republican analogy above), dee don't get all worked up and you're pulled up on it, saaxib. p.s. The government are doing well but the house of cards they're building will come tumbling down unless they do something about the internal problems. Wax fahan.
  13. ^^ Err..you claimed that Somalia has the right government when all facts show this government to be nothing but incompetent. Thus, yours must be a daydream. Don't worry about my latent anger issues or whatever new visions that appear in your head about me, adeer. I am simply giving you my understanding of your positions and words. Finally, puff and substance? From YOU? I'm starting to think you're nothing but a troll warya.
  14. ^^ Err..nuune, could you find that thread again and see what I wrote to you there? I can't recall it now but I'm more than certain that all my objections still stand. A&T, I still think you're singling Gabaal out as the "bad guy" here when, in reality, we are all bad guys. Gabaal is looking out for his people, in the same way that far off Farole is or even 22 year independent Siilaanyo. Don't wait for Xassan Sheikh to fix things between you and Gabaal, extend him an olive branch and see where that gets you, saaxib. Chimera, this is a political discussion and your dreams don't fit into such a discussion. Of course, I can play the A&T game and stroke your ego with empty words about your amazing nationalism and what not. But I chose to tell you the truth, saaxib. Yours are nothing but daydreams. p.s. Your reply that you quote above is new to me (can you share link of the thread so that I can at least see the context). Still, it is neither here nor there, saaxib. Even when you attempt to do an analogy between me and you, it is still a daydream of yours about pregnant women and how I would approach them. For the record, I neither will waste my time with the past nor the future, adeer. My main concern (and any normal person who is neither Somali nor a daydreamer) would be with the PRESENT. Wax fahan.
  15. Oh A&T, you let Gabaal's posturing get to you and that's a real shame. Gabaal, as we all know, will change positions depending on where his clan's interests lay. I even recall a time when he was an ardent supporter of the Shabab. However, in SOL at least, Gabaal has not been the one making the most noise. In fact, I am surprised that you managed to notice his contributions here when even people such as the guru had written and commented on the topic at least ten times more than he did (this is not without mentioning the Xiins, Baashi's and Zacks). Now putting Chimera's daydreams aside for now, you know and I know that the Somali problem is not all about Hassan Shiekh alone. You know that EVERY side have their very own "Gabaals" and can be accused of the same charges that you chose to place at Gabaal's door above. Hassan Sheikh is simply an amateur president that is trying to fix Somalia in the only way he (and other Somali leaders) understand. If he fails, there will be other presidents that will follow him in the job and may mess it up just as bad as he has been doing so far. The differences between all sides are HUGE and Jubbaland is only one battle field. When it's fixed, all sides will move to Xamar, Bakool or even Khaatumo and they will all have something to say or complain about according to their clannish leanings. How long will you keep on asking for the driver to be changed when it's the passengers that are not in agreement about the destination? Naga daaya dee.
  16. ^^ You make it sound like it's all Madoobe's fault. It is a clan problem that invovles the government too. There is no "bad guys" here.
  17. ^^ This is the biggest problem Somalia will ever face. If they can find a proper solution for Kismaayo, they can apply that solution to every single problem Somalia has (of course, that's without taking the Shabab into account).
  18. Tallaabo;950792 wrote: Nuune also started NG's habit of resurrecting old threads:mad: For a minute or two I read it as if it was a new thread. Damn you maku dhahaa:mad: Because it's relevant to a current topic. What's the problem?
  19. ^^ It was going all fine and even a president was elected. THEN, in the midst of the celebrations and as the happy people of Jubbaland began to rejoice, Barre Hirale detonated himself BANG in the middle of it all. The number of casulties has not been counted so far but sources in SOL tell us that Xiin has been heard screaming (not sure if it's the joy or the pain).
  20. That Dahabshiil two million never gets spent. First it was meant for Sado Cali, then Xaglo T and now it's Galeydh!
  21. Ok. My job here is done, Xiin got the needed reinforcments and I can go home secure in the knowledge he won't get devoured by the Barre mob.

  23. You actually don't need any help Xiin. The Barre story came from the sides and even his supporters will admit that, for now, it is nothing but a story. It is possible that more information may come out in the next few days to change the way we look at things but, for now, the story remains that black Ahmed is the president of Jubbaland and that Barre is a self-declared president.
  24. Warya ya ciyaal HAG & Gedo, waaxid waaxid please. Don't gang up on Xiin in such an ugly way. Or else you will force me to side with my friend until friends arrive to help him out, nacal shaklak.
