  1. Moti I try my best to be fair-- I just said all guys are created equal-am sure u know what I mean . I think ur friend is helpful, tell her to keep teaching u, and listen closely may be we might have someone like u who accepts the truth soon.
  2. 10 Golden Rules to start a Day 1.TODAY I WILL NOT STRIKE BACK: If someone is rude, if someone is impatient, if someone is unkind...I will not respond in a like manner. 2. TODAY I WILL ASK ALLAH TO BLESS MY "ENEMY": If I come across someone who treats me harshly or unfairly, I will quietly ask Allah to bless that individual. I understand the "enemy" could be a family member, neighbor, co-worker, or a stranger. 3. TODAY I WILL BE CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT I SAY: I will carefully choose and guard my words being certain that I do not spread gossip. 4. TODAY I WILL GO THE EXTRA MILE: I will find ways to help share the burden of another person. 5. TODAY I WILL FORGIVE: I will forgive any hurts or injuries that come my way. 6. TODAY I WILL DO SOMETHING NICE FOR SOMEONE, BUT I WILL DO IT SECRETLY: I will reach out anonymously and bless the life of another. 7. TODAY I WILL TREAT OTHERS THE WAY I WISH TO BE TREATED: I will practice the golden rule - "Do unto others as I would have them do unto me" - with everyone I encounter. 8. TODAY I WILL RAISE THE SPIRITS OF SOMEONE I DISCOURAGED: My smile, my words, my expression of support, can make the difference to someone who is wrestling life. 9. TODAY I WILL NURTURE MY BODY: I will eat less; I will eat only healthy foods. I will thank Allah for my body. 10. TODAY I WILL GROW SPIRITUALLY: I will spend a little more time in salaah and dua today: I will begin reading something spiritual or inspirational today; I will find a quiet place (at some point during the day) and contemplate on the purpose of life.!!!

  6. Alhamdulilah A beautiful article indeed. Islam is beuatiful, is only the people that makes it look bad sometimes, if we all lived by islam and practiced islam the way we are supposed to, there will be more ppl converting, but we sometimes fail to realize how our actions is what the ppl see, and if they see something good, the more they will be interested. Inshallah we all strive to making our actions better, so we can teach others.

  14. Sis I have heard so many reasons as to why so many women reasons dont wear hijab. I understand that it takes a while for new converts to get used to with wearing a hijab, I have many friends who are converts who dont wear hijab, but i always remind the sooner they start the better it will be for them. As to someone who is a muslim and saying islam doesn't require hijab all you have to do is prove it by quran. When it comes to Islam some ppl just gota have it, and the truth inshallah might enlighten the. Allah states in Qur'an: "And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! Turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss. " Holy Qur'an (24:31)
  15. This poem made me cry, I thought I should share it. It was written my A somali women. I hope to see Somalia peaceful again, Inshallah lets pray for those in need and for those who are suffering from in pain and agony. I am the one who is so poor I am the one who is so miserable Can anyone feel my misery? I am the one who feels a pain, a harsh pain in my heart I am the one who suffers disappointment everyday, every hour, every minute. Do you feel that pain? I am the one who has to bury my own children My innocent and helpless children Bury her own children Do you understand how it feels to bury Innocent and helpless children I am the one who is injured and has to treat my own injuries I am the one who has to wipe my own tears. Do you know how it hurts when you are ..... injured I am the one who watches bleeding bodies, Needy hands, tearful eyes, and broken hearts every second I am the one who has to wake up with the sound of weapons Have you ever..... Touched bleeding bodies, dried tearful eyes, felt needy hands Heard the terrible sounds of weapons I am the one who lives alone, who is not alive, who is not dead I am the one who is helpless Have you ever felt you are ..... helpless, alone I am the one whose heart is broken and whose eyes are tearful I am the one who has gone with the wind Has anyone ever broken your heart? Where are my children, my innocent and helpful children? Why have they left me alone? How does a mother feel when she looses her children? Do you know..... How a mother feels when she sees the empty bed, the tiny clothes..... Where are my lovely nights and pleasant morning? Where is my sky, my blue and bright sky? Who will help me? Who will treat my injuries? Come my lovely children, Don't leave me alone, Don't forget me. Do you know who I am? I am a mother. I am the one who lost my child The battle for power continues And the innocent pay for it WHY? .....Because some are too greedy.....
