  1. Does this explain "gudniinka dumarka"?
  2. Asalaamu 3alaykum In these troubled times it is good to see young muslim brothers and sisters adhere fully to the deen. It must be some what of a challenge ignoring shaitan's call from every corner - Somali aroos, going away parties, qaacis etc etc. Ony guided souls can ignore these temptations, and may Allah make us one of them. To the sisters If you wear a hijab and follow the deen Allaha kuu zaa'idiyo iimaanka and may Allah make you a role model for your sisters. If you waer hijab and do fusuq (gossip, smoke, attend parties etc) allah kuu zaaidiyo iimaanka stop trying to show off to humans and follow the deen in the righ way If you don't wear hijab and follow the deen allaha iimaanka kuu zaaidiyo and may Allah take away those reasons that don't allow you to wear your hijab, ignorence is cruel, and living in the west can be a hostile environment to muslima but the hereafter is eternal If you don't follow the deen at all, Allaha kuu zaaidyo iimaanka, stop trying to justify your ways and know that life is too short. To the brothers If you sport the sunnah (the beard etc)and follow your deen Allaha iimaanka skuu zaaidiyo and may Allah make you a role model for your brothers. If you are into clubs, zina, latest music etc allaha iimaanka kuu zaaidiyo stop trying to justify your ways know life is too short May Allah guide all of us to the right path....aamiin

  5. Asalaamu 3alaykum Ina Laaha ma3al Saabiriin..... Israel accused of starving West Bank New York |By Charles Laurence and Kim Willsher | 05-10-2003 Print friendly format | Email to Friend A United Nations report which blames Israel for causing starvation in Gaza and the West Bank has prompted a furious diplomatic row with the Israeli government of Ariel Sharon. The leaked report by Jean Ziegler, a Swiss sociologist and UN special envoy, blames Israel's security policies for "collective punishment" of the Palestinians. Ziegler spent 10 days in the occupied territories in July and was due to present his report to the UN General Assembly in New York on November 18. Furious Israeli officials, however, have denounced the report as "highly political", saying that Ziegler had gone beyond his mandate. With support from American diplomats at the UN, Israel has called for the report to be rejected before it reaches the floor of the Assembly, and asked the UN Human Rights Commission, for whom Ziegler was working as a food rights specialist, to discipline him. According to newspaper reports in France, Ziegler's report will not now be published until the spring. Tuvia Israeli, Israel's deputy representative to the UN, said: "Ziegler's behaviour has been a bitter blow to our relations with the UN which were already extremely strained." He said that Ziegler's silence about the rampant corruption at the heart of the Palestinian Authority was unacceptable. Privately, UN officials in Geneva, where the Human Rights Commission is based, also expressed frustration at having "wasted a golden opportunity" to improve cooperation with the Israeli government. They regretted that Ziegler had been "carried away by his indignation". Ziegler appeared yesterday ready to lock horns with the UN. "It is a very explosive report about the silent tragedy behind the visible tragedy of the Palestinian territories," he said. In the 25-page report, a copy of which has been seen by The Sunday Telegraph, Mr Ziegler says 22 per cent of Palestinian children under the age of five suffer severe malnutrition, and most families have only one meal a day. He describes that as "absurd" in a historically fertile land, blaming the "apartheid" security fence, the seizing and destruction of Palestinian farmland, and roadblocks for preventing food from reaching Palestinian communities. "The Occupied Palestinian Territories is on the verge of humanitarian catastrophe as a result of the extremely harsh military measures imposed by the occupying Israeli military forces since the outbreak of the second Intifada in September 2000," the report warns. Ziegler became one of the first UN envoys to be allowed to report on conditions in the occupied territories with co-operation and assistance from Israel. Israel wants the report to be dismissed on technical grounds, claiming that Ziegler breached protocol because the report was leaked to the French newspaper, Liberation, before their government had a chance to lodge a reaction. Ziegler defended his report yesterday as "the truth" and said the leak had been beyond his control. He said that the draft report had been sent to Israeli agencies that had helped his research at the same time as it was submitted to the Human Rights Commission.
  6. Asalaamu 3alaykum They look like children (in the teens)

  8. Asalaamu 3alaykum Whoever is "selected" in Kenya as Somalia's president will be a Dic - tator and wo things will never happen in Somalia. Somalia will never have a democratic government, and it will never have an Islamic government unless all Somali people change their ways of thinking. This whole thing about "qabiil" is a control mechanism politicians ( I don't know if they qualify for such a title) use for Somalis. Whatever agenda they are after, or whatever truth they want to hide, qabiil has been an effective tool. I bet many of you didn't know that drugs grow in Afgoi where fruits use to grow and innocent somalis are slalved to grow these drugs or that churches were built in some parts of Somalia? So how will a new somali government be different from those of the past. The "government" will be a pupet regime to supress the ambitions of the people, the natural resources of the country will be exploited by foriegn investers- be it an oil exploration, military bases etc and etc. Any political opposition to this government's policies will be crushed with the blessing of certian countries If democratic government happens in Somalia, it wouldn't be good for many foriegn countries that have economical, political and ideological interests in the region. If an Islamic government happens Somalia, it wouldn't be good for many foriegn agencies, countries hostile towards Islam and its unity etc etc. Current Somali situation only harms Somalis. Kenya's economy greatly benefits from Somali's mess, Ethiopia loves Somalia's condition -hence no help for our brothers/sisters strugling in Ogadenia, Somali warlords and their financiers make riches of Somalia's natural resources. What about the rest of Somalis - refugess in their own homes, refugee in camps, hard living in Europe made worest by racist policies aimed at assimilating their children into a judeo-Christian values, north America's racist policies towards immigrants...etc, etc? These same people have become victims once again to a "somali" media -BBC, somalinet....etc, etc, whether intentional or not they have made most Somalis that subscribe to their garbage "repots" forget about the cause of current misery and actually encourage more of it -- this is physical and psychological abuse. Somaliaonline, it was the best at its younger days, can start a change and take the "politics" section out entirely -- just a suggestion from a typical Nomad.

  17. Asalaamu Calaykum Hate has no place in Islam, and as muslims we should hate NO ONE. It is inhumane how the Jews state is treating the palestinians but this shouldn't blind us what our deen teaches us, that all are equal in front of Allah be it Arab, jew...Somali.
  18. As said the two (dem and Rep) are the same period. That "poor" Somali is not the only Somali/Muslim that supports Bush, he has the support of ISNA, ICNA, MSA and the likes. When afraid of prey certain animals change color to blend into the back ground so the prey will not see them, "moderate" muslims appear to have adapted this evolutionary advantage over other Muslims who adhere to the fundamental principles of Al-Islam. Don't hide too long you may loose yourself.
  19. Just as the prayers times are set according to ones location so is the SAWM and the EID, it is common therefore to see Muslims in Saudi having their eid on a thursday and muslims in North America having theirs on a friday for example. Bisha dhalashadeeda waa in la arkaa Mufti sacuudi jooga wuxuu doono ha yiraahdo.
