1. Malistar don't be too enthusiastic. Geedi fanaxle is upto something and what i see in these pics is that he's simply keeping his enemies close.
2. @galbeedi said: They are claiming, the government refused to show the monitoring group, the arms they bought from the gulf. Isn't this a state secret? Is this people have to know all Somali state movements?. How can a government that is waging a war of live and death could give arms to their arch enemy. The report did not say any thing positive about the country. Their main target is to impose total embargo, then Somalia will be under the mercy of it's neighbors. Also there were Somalis from diaspora who are campaigning the for total embargo. Lately, for the last four months there were a lot of build up of Somali army and recruits, this will not sit well with Kenya and their guests in Nairobi. If this speed of army build up continues for another year, we may even have a national army. T his monitoring group must be disbanded and all arms embargo must be lifted from Somalia. The government must prepare it's evidence and clarify all these allegations. If they are not true then these members of the Embargo must be replaced. Do you remember a guy by the name of Matt Bryden, he use to write inflammatory reports about Somalia but was replaced by the UN and ICG. We can not accept a couple of bureaucrats sitting big hotels in Nairobi deciding the future of Somalia. It is unacceptable. +1. well said,Galbeedi you seem to be the only realistic person in this thread. Why is ethiopia suddenly part of the Amisom, a country that used to arm two warlords at the same time. Dalkaan in ay degto lama doonayo, yaase fahmaayo some people are blind with qabyaalad and nacayb that they fail to see who their real enemy is.

6. Ahmed madoobe made a good move making peace with the opposition kenyans are leaving kismayo so he cant afford enemies.
7. The so called federalism must be based on geography, commerce, culture, cohesiveness and the future well being of the Somali nation. If these criteria are not fulfilled, then we are building tribal homeland with our own peril. This.
8. @CidanSultan said: ^^^ commando's hahaha..... malister lets see if they can control a street block in mugdisho on their own..hahaha.... we will return to this later...you have been mentioning similar developments for the past 3 years and amisom still pushes you around. SFG forces controll dharkeynley district entirely by themselves amisom moved there bases there to lower shabelle. Also most of the north part of the city is controlled by the SFG forces. All we need right now is more advanced weapons we got manpower quantity. I wouldn't laugh if i where you my friend your maamul is crumbling, infighting in the parliament, Laascaanod issue, Boorame folks opposing SL. 22 years of peace in SL and xamar is already more developed mind you the city has been under the SFG for only 2 years.

12. @Xaaji Xunjuf said: Atleast ahmed godane is not protected by African union troops what ever security alerts he might have its all on his call. He might not be guarded by AU forces but he's certainly guarded by AQ foreign forces. No need to defend godane for clan reasons yaa xaaji habaar!!

14. Lets hope for the best. I have great confidence in abdweli restablishing the relationship with the SFG.
15. Thanks for your input Libaax.Eventhough it turned ugly it's very good to see somalis being active in american politics, one would hope that abdi warsame's historic run would be an inspiration for somalis in europe especially in sweden where they are the most hated group.
16. @SomaliPhilosopher said: Enough with this filth propaganda,or should I say unproductive propaganda. Will we even have this constitution five years from now? I have some doubt. Cadale, at least tell me the location of the house that was in dispute. that did not look it was xamar who knows inaar? I think it was recorded in Kenya.

18. A heavily attended caucus in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood ended abruptly Tuesday night after an altercation between activists. About 300 people, nearly all of them Somali-American, attended the event at the Brian Coyle Center. Most of them were there to support Mohamud Noor, who is challenging Rep. Phyllis Kahn for a seat in the Minnesota House. The altercation over who would chair the event took place before any delegates were elected. Two women outside the meeting said that an aide for council member Andrew Johnson, Ilhan Omar, was attacked. "She was attacked," Johnson confirmed in an interview. "She’s got some bruises and cuts but she’s going to be fine." Police escorting people outside said that no one was arrested. "There was an argument about who was controlling the meeting, as far as I could tell," said Park Board commissioner Scott Vreeland, who tried to break up the fight. "And then there was kind of a rush forward of folks that wanted something different." DFL Executive Director Corey Day said facilities staff decided to end the event. A handful of police quickly started dispersing the crowd, telling people to exit. The event, which began around 7 p.m., was over by 7:40 p.m. It appears the two people running to chair the meeting were Mohamed Jama and Zamzam Ali. "I'm speechless," Ali said outside the gymnasium. Day said the precinct elects 44 delegates out of about 700 in the House district. "I have no clue exactly why this transpired," Day told reporters after the room had cleared. "I'm just as shocked as you guys. I really just want to talk to the folks at the party and figure out how we're going to resolve this."
19. @Xaaji Xunjuf said: Mooge gaas does not have what it takes to keep damuljadid at bay i am convinced this visit is the visit that paves the road for an agreement signed in the near future in a few months. And i dont think Farah Topaz will review the constitution and i dont think these will be the damands of Gaas. Gaas served Mogadishu before he will serve Mogadishu once again, Faroole was like Puntland First and Puntland is the father and mother of Somalia afkiinana reer Muqdishow dawlada Puntland bara. When Faroole felt that Mogadishu is trying to undermine him and his role in Somalia, He played hard ball remember his historic visit to Kenya and the most notorious Mogadishu elders Axmed diiriye and xaad were having sleepless nights. Kan gaas markan dhegeysto hurda i qabata, when hassan sheikh visited Puntland in garowe faroole attitude was Mogadishu will come to garowe , Garowe will not come to Mogadishu. Remember when he said Madaxweyne dalakan iyo dadkani wa Puntland ciidankani wa ciidanki Puntland, it was a hidden message that Puntland is secure and it has no Foreign troops. But maybe its to early to compare gaas to faroole lets wait and see what he does in the next 90 days and give him some time. Looooool. Just say it like it is, you want a garoowe mogadishu conflict.
