Your next door neighbour gets a fancy new car and envy drives you livid. Rather wallowing in envy and self-pity you use this energy in postive manner by striving harder to one day upstage your neighbour with fancier car. How is that bad thing? Agreed- my brother went to university, and though I had no interest before, I went too. It can be a drive for personal improvement. But he's still taller than me
  2. Finally, a nationalist among thieves! I await how this develops.

I'm taking bets he'll deny them; ten shillings, who's in?
  4. No need for a personal attack; but what would this group have when Kismaayo is wrestled from their bonny fingers? Prepare to sleep with the fishes would be my advise. They should feel right at home with their departed leader.

After some proper telling off and not putting out, you will learn your lesson. You're asking the guy to play Russian roulette with his marriage; never ever tell your wife anything! Her ignorance is her happiness.

  8. The Jareer gentlemen makes a strong case and his fears are legitimate because I believe Somalis in Jubba regions, should they get the chance, will suppress and take advantage of these people. I hope the Jareer and others are included in the new administration.
  9. Brother Xaaji, cut down on carbohydrates (bariis, baasta etc) and substitute it for proteins. Try the Keto diet >>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ketogenic_diet

America is a continent masquerading as a country; nomads should be what is in our blood; mobile. But the honeys come first

America is a big place (unless television has lied to me), why not move around? All these idyllic places you hear about: California, Miami, Maine, Rhode Island are they no good? Have you tried Alaska?
  12. Let us kill talks of choosing a degree subject because it "might" be useful in Somalia. The idea that a majority of Somalis living in the West will go back is laughable. Yes, few have; but for most that country will be nothing more than a place for the occasional holiday.

Virtual doesn't always = the internet. The character in the picture is well known in the gaming community. A wiki link if your're curious >>> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_Freeman Also, I don't normally sign up to forums but I came across SOL while goggling camel milk, only to see something called "camel milk threads"; and here I'm.

  18. Agreed Dr K-It is not always about money. One should study a subject that is personally fulfilling. We need Somalis to be doctors, engineers yes but we also need Philosophers, Anthropologist and particularly Psychologist as a sizeable chunk of our society are mental. International Relations- woop woop

Oh I disagree: religious people such as yourself, are finding their claims challenged and disproved and are extremely worried . In times past such challenges would have invited bodily harm but that has been tamed in places like the West but sadly not so in many other lands where your kind still clings to power. And let us not talk of ignorance as I don't enjoy scoring open goals.

As for the returning Diasporas, this contingent will probably have a sizable secular and atheist group, they don't intend to proselytize but will do their utmost best to undermine the believers. All in all, if we reconstitute our education system [spiritual sciences and worldly sciences] we will be able to deal with their secular and Darwinian world view. You sound worried MB; don't worry, the secular & atheist armies will be brutal but swift.
  22. Generations of SOL'rs must have lived and died since this thread was started; can anyone offer a succinct summary?
