Somalia replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
What a pathetic article, an insult to all parties mentioned, I think it caters to your IQ level isn't it Xaaji -

Apophis;876215 wrote: If all other regions were allowed to set up by themselves why would the Jubba people allow someone else to do it for them? The people have spoken and they're in the final stages of setting an admin and no interference will be accepted or tolerated. Take care of your own house not your neighbours. True, how can one hinder progress, it's immoral, especially when your house is comfortable!

I agree 100%, the president should appoint governors for all 3 regions! However, there should be no side lining clans as well. I am afraid people want to slow down this project and as a consequence the prolonged politicking will deny the people peace. A federal state should be constructed over consultative meetings, it took 3 months of rigorous debates and political manoeuvring to get Puntland off the ground, lets hope Azania/Jubbaland goes through a smooth transition.

The boat is already at sea, it can't be stopped. Today it's under AMISOM control as is Mogadishu, Baidoa, Xudur, Gedo, Beledweyne, Galguduud, Balcad, but I don't see you complaining about that? Yes, this seems like trivial tribal lines being drawn on an internet forum where we should discuss moving forward, not go over past ideas!

Wallahi I never knew there was such thing as 'Boqorka guud ee Jareer', I never even knew Jareer had boqor, is this a historically hereditary title or a newly self-appointed man?

Kismayo's rightful owners are within 1 block and by God they will govern it for they will do with it as they like. They made it into the trade city it was, they will awaken it once again.

Doctor, Gaalkacyo is slowly coming back over these past weeks. But inshallah we shall look forward to the day when we ban those little devils and replace them with affordable modern cars.

Mooge;875954 wrote: mooge supports azania 100%. xasan qoslaye's sheko means nothing. zack, mayor of Kismayo under azania federal state must always be Puntlander. that is mooge's demand. Puntlanders own the most properties and control the business of the city and its population. if you count house to house, there is no comparison in population. puntlanders are the biggest segment of the city population. they are also the historic faradheer settlers of the city going back to the 1800s aside from the indegenous bajuni clans. The Zack, Ethiopia didn't create Puntland nor were there Ethiopians present when it was formed, it was a homegrown conference, you ought to focus on the same, there's nothing wrong with this creation, in fact I support it, but don't try and take others down when you take this road. http://malik121.tripod.com/farahs/id9.html

Jacpher;875937 wrote: So like Palestine this is a holyland for the long footed folk? I hate to break it to you buddy, like Yahuuda to Palestine, Azania was non existance until it was created by foreign power few years ago. No such a thing as Azania existed in Somalia. Like Yahuuda in Palestine, someone is trying to grab a some sort of promised land through power and military means. Zack since you asked the question, that should help with your answer. I was drawing parallels to the fact that it is a hotly contested city, I thought I'd satisfy The Zack with that answer though

Now that the region is somewhat being liberated from Al-Shabaab, the president will appoint a regional governor like that has been done in Galguduud and Hiiraan. AMISOM/Kenya will facilitate the political progress nor matter what cause they are on the ground, so I think if the president wants it to look like he is in control, it should be done in Mogadishu and then in Kismayo, never in Nairobi.

We have years till major reconstruction starts, we ought to focus on nation building, which public institutions and agencies should be created and which ought to be focused on the most, that will have an effect on all of this.
