Salaam, let me add my 5 cents to this important topic. Are we living in 2012 or in 1991, that is the question at hand here. Are moryaans praying in stolen properties if they are praying at all? Why are they so focused on Kismayo, is this a deflection technique, a defense mechanism? WHAT IS THE MOTIVE, ladies and gentlemen, what is it? These are the questions my friends. OF course we must distinguish who is a moryaan, of course a moryaan is not the government or the people, but the occupiers of stolen properties. How many of houses are missing today? I think the next step should be to get all stolen properties back in Mogadishu and send a few Al Ictisaam imams to teach them about sunnah and stealing. This is the time, why would we allow thievery like this, is this not a new government, a permanent one, why are they not focused on this but are focused on Kismayo or even pirate prisoners, they (the government) want to transfer prisoners to Mogadishu and yet they want reap from the properties of others. If the courts can handle prisoner transfers and pirate justice. why not this?yet they are letting this continue to live this haram live style, we must help moryaans get back on the right path, but we must do it together. We can't be allowed as the protectors of truth to be silenced by thieves and their e-sidekicks, no more we say.

Interesting interview with Somaliland Foreign Minister
Somalia replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Well I haven't got a dog in this fight so I am neutral, I am just being observational here. Sure, well you are right to one extend Berbera is and will remain its contraband port, for example if they were to import sensitive materials a high tech port like Djibouti would clock. It is common knowledge that the whole port area is cleared sometimes during the late night for God knows what. As for the foreign minister, it's simply a position no one should waste time in. This man has wasted tremendous amounts of money on useless defacto embassies when the only realistic way is to start from step one and part way legitimately through Mogadishu. It will never happen unless the rest of Somalia signs of on it. You took a gamble in 1990s and thought Somalia was Yugoslavia but it turned out different. You thought it would be Kosovo, it turned out different. Now you should think like South Sudan. -
Man, I don't know what I did wrong. Mr, please give me my stuff back, that's all the old man said. I know you have religious issues but this is ethically and morally wrong even for an atheist mate.

Interesting interview with Somaliland Foreign Minister
Somalia replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Good interview he asked some hard hitting points, though I thought it was going to be Miss Fowziya, I read the title wrong. I think it needs to be acknowledged that Somaliland needs Ethiopia more than Ethiopian needs it, that's what the host doesn't seem to get. The port of Berbera is now less valuable to Ethiopia as Djibouti is building 3rd port in Tadjourah, and expanding with a mineral one as well which could be used to export Ethiopians reserves. The foreign minister himself admitted that Somaliland deals with UK through Ethiopia not even Djibouti. He also hit him on the facts about South Sudan, Malaysia and the issue with passports. Countries except Djibouti and Ethiopia reject it, even Malaysia which previously acknowledged it has rejected it. As a neutral person in this, I think you should get rid of this guy, the education minister and the chief of staff. -
You are FROM Mogadishu. How the hell are you a case study? Your experience doesn't account for the masses. Just a few months ago, I posted a Somali man who got killed by moryaans after asking for his property back. I remember HAG representative on SOL forums cried about it, not that the man died, but that I posted of the circumstances he died in. That is HAG policy, to keep this silent, but no more. There's no need to cry here, the people who should be crying are the ones whose properties are missing, the thousands out there. A few days ago, CEO of HAG said "xaraan quute xalaal ma arko" about Kismayo situation, I've never heard anything more ironic in my life , while people like you are posting about Kismayo, one is occupying others'.

I just posted a thread, no need to get your panties in a bunch. What is the funniest part is that Unuka are telling us they got their properties "back", therefore others should be able too.

That is the true definition of a thief, not only is he occupying this old man's hotel, he is building in front of it, waa sheeko cajiib ah. I myself and my family can not get properties back due to these kind of people, the government must tackle the moryaan which is still roaming the streets of Mogadishu. Imagine, how can one pray in stolen houses in 21 years, raise children there and live as if it is ones own? That is the real question at hand here my friends.

It's very sad that in 2012 you can get elected because you are said to be a Mujahid, but for what and how the hell is that relevant today? Muuse Biixi is from an irrelevant clan when it comes to high positions of power, maybe except getting a few cabinet positions, they are normally found in the fields plowing alongside Oromo. Siilaanyo is making a big mistake and will cause grievances, today Somaliland's party (clan) system is falling apart at its helm, who is responsible? I believe these field ploughers are number 1 responsible. Along with the reer baadiyo faction of Siilaanyo, they have alienated the lion of the east, the port owner of the north, the educated man of the west, I have never seen anything like this, I am horrified for Somaliland's future. God bless us all, and God bless America.
