Why does it take a big conference to inform people that humans are at fault for global warming? I was surprised this wasnt official already. What about cows passing wind? Stoic, i know this is a big issue with you environmentalists but even if things were done ie everyone adhered to the Kayoto Protocol and did their best, we would still see rapid global warming. Today i filled my tank for just 50 Dirhams (about 7 pounds) and i will do it again in midweek. The biggesy polluters are Arab countries! lol@baaldi bath

'Jesus Loves Osama' sign receives criticism Sydney: A sign saying 'Jesus Loves Osama' outside some churches in Australia drew criticism from the prime minister and other religious leaders yesterday, though they conceded it was probably true according to Christian beliefs. One sign outside the Central Baptist Church in downtown Sydney also had a smaller footnote saying "Jesus said: 'Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.'" Several other churches in the city had similar signs urging prayers for Osama Bin Laden, the Al Qaida leader, according to local media. A photograph of the sign was published in The Daily Telegraph newspaper yesterday, prompting debate about whether it was a suitable message. Prime Minister John Howard said something else would have been better. http://www.gulfnews.com/world/Australia/10101347.html

Its very common in Oman to a scary level. I have never stopped at a rest area while travelling through the country. I would only take a break at the larger cities. I did go to a village one day but before i went i was warned by numerous people "do not talk to any old men"

^^Pointless speculation based on hearsay reported by news agencies Cambaro, he is not in a position to make such demands but to me it shows he is a man of principles. Right now we need as many as we can get.
