  1. Not a big surprise really. These guys have been given the licence to do as they please,,,,
  2. There is an abundance of NGOs in East Africa. You can do a critique on their objectives (are they right?), success levels (how is succes measured in Africa), case studies of successful projects etc. I can write the whole thing if you want. Dahabshiil soo dhig labaatan kun oo Dirham!

  4. So much for doing a bit of research  Will SOL get a mention in the references/bibliography?
  5. I'm quessing the media are blowing this up, up there in blighty  Will he give them a sticker if they wear hijaab? 'I was good at the dentist today'
  6. Why do kids always (i mean ALWAYS) get it wrong when it comes to putting their shoes on? I have observed many a child with the left shoe on the right foot and vise verse. Can one of them, just one of them get it right, alone and without help? A burning question,,,,
  7. Can someone click on this link and post the juicy bits? I cant access it (site blocked). http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=+Imam+Khaleel+Mohammed&meta= The third one down,,,
  8. Ghanima, if a famous person accepts Islam (not the watered down version) and some of their fans read about Islam and also accept then there is nothing to say they are 'following' their 'idols (for want of a better word) but rather that 'idol' was their way to Islam. Granted some just jump in but lets not sit and judge all shall we?
  9. Having resisted for a long time I recently joined and now I'm in touch with old school/college friends.
  10. I wonder how many 'Arsenal fans' supported their club before Arsene Wenger. Heck how many even know the name of the manager before Wenger? How much did he pay for David Platt? (do you guys even know D Platt?)

Nothing is guaranteed and the job market fluctuates depending on where you live, the school you've graduated from, and the internships/practicals you've undertaken. A guaranteed job upon graduating is on the offing (in the UK at least) and a well paying one at that.
  13. Yaab, Industrial Design vs Engineering Will you have a guaranteed job when you graduate? ID - 0 Eng - 1 What will pay more? ID - 0 Eng - 1 How much demand will there be for each discipline? ID - 0 Eng - 1 Engineer wins hands down for me. As an engineer (civil, mech, elec, etc) you will be able to work in construction, oil and gas, aerospace, automobiles etc etc in many parts of the world. Now if you went for architecture then that would be different.
  14. Come on now. Join Arsenal? I used to watch them in the old days of boring boring Arsenal whilst Liverpool played the best football. Granted they play great football but surely you expect a Liverpool fan to jump ship?
  15. In Somali saxib in Somalia. I hear the Kismaayo boys reigned supreme in the south. Maxaa ku dhacay Xamar?
  16. Black history month? Will you guys encourage your non-Somali friends/neighbours/work mates etc to attend? Will it be in Somali only? (defeats the purpose).
  17. ^^In those days Faraxow, in your opinion, who were the top teams? What was the support like? The problem with some kids in the west, as Paragon touched on, is that they lack focus. They lose all sense of achievement at a young age and just plod along. ps, Shyma, Arsenal made the most money last year but they are not the richest club in England.
  18. Before he could close the study’s door again, the phone starts to ring, but instead of answering it, he nervously paces to and fro between the table, on which the phone rested, and the window he was previously sitting near. He kept looking out of the window and to the road, where the children played football and again at the ringing phone. In that moment, it seemed as though the window and the ringing phone promised two entirely different futures, of which he wasn’t sure which one to choose. The phone rang for almost five minutes and each ringing felt as if it was piercing sharply and deeper into his brain, until he could no longer withstand it. Desiring the ringing to just seize, he yanked-up the handle by total impulse and placed it on his left ear. So he chose the red pill  Every weekend, they meet in their favourite in Edgware Road – Western London. All of them having graduated with degrees in wide-ranging fields Edgware Rd? What happened to East Ham? Good stuff saxib.
  19. Well kids are overly passionate about their teams. There is banter and then there is misplaced passion. I blame the Arsenal fans
  20. Ngonge See I knew it. Cos some of your writing reeks of marqaanimo LooooooooooooL What time in the day were those inspired posts posted tolow?
  21. Rudy, you bring those tough boys from Los Angles to shame. ps that is the exact reason we have decided against the need for an Arabic fluent nomad. There is a high chance of constant complaints and mid-night jolts across the bush because 'I saw something'
  22. Well I cant remember if I said Fabs was over-rated. If I did then I take it back. You see I like to watch player over 3 years and if they are playing at the highest level and very consistent then I would rate them. Fabs is nearly there. Another year or two and he will def be up there with the best. Over-rated Malouda Ronaldo (Man Utd) Under-rated Govou Kanoute Jenas Zambrotta
