NO, you few mormons and Solers believe this, sane people except evolution, scientific debate about some the details is one thing, ignoring facts is another. [/QB]What FACTS am I ignoring? Show us these FACTS. I get the feeling you guys believe in evolution because in your opinion it equates to intellect and advancement more than anything else. ps leave this to those who will at least try to prove something to us. Repeating the same line won't achieve anything.

  6. ^That would mean ALL the shops you wish to buy things from will need the necessary technology no?
  7. When we arrived at the gate of the house, Abdi honked for the guard to open the door, but the guard just looked at the car then closed the gate. I assumed he was alerting the owners of my arrival, whereas Abdi assumed the guy was a rude man and started yelling at him. I tried to calm him down but it was too late, and the sort of amusing scene culminated with the guard spitting at Abdi who slapped him across the cheek. Abdi then told me I could not stay there, that he would not come get me each day for work, and he was going to take me to a guest house. I insisted that I must stay here and that he should come every day, we shook hands, and I went inside. Sounds like one of Ngonge's stories So maaha Cabdiyow?
  8. Well done gang. Hope it becomes bigger and motivates kids in years to come.
  9. I only decided to follow Liverpool because I saw the word KEEGAN written on a wall when I was a kid and my father told me that he (Keegan) used to play for Liverpool. Explains your lack of passion for the mighty mighty reds.
  10. Unions should be banned!
  11. Of course he is a politician (he is the president of a country). Still qualified to teach geography none-the-less. I have explained why I support him.
  12. ^What you're saying is that he should not have changed positions and become president and that you see his actions as a politician as that of a citizen (he was a citizen) simply because you didn't receive prior warning. Career change is not allowed in Somalia miya? What was your question (can't see it on previous page)?
  13. On Sh. Sharif, I would happily look at the bigger picture had he come along in the guise of a politician from the first day. But he did not, did he? This is the whole point of the title of the thread. So the crux of your argument boils down to the Sheikh’s rapid rise up the ladder. What? You didn’t get the fax back in 2006 that he planned to become President? You’re assuming he planned to go from school, UIC head and then President. If that’s the case then boy is he a meticulous planner! We could do with him at our company (our project planner has been sent to KSA). This was not in the plan my friend so his khamiis days in 2006 should be irrelevant.
  14. I'm sure Spurs are closer to you
  15. Dear Beloved, I am Mrs Rose Smith, suffering from cancerous ailment.I am married to Mr.Robert Smith,my husband worked with Chevron Corporation for twenty years before he died in the year 2006. My late husband deposited the sum of Ј7.5 Million (Seven Million Five Hundred Thousand Pounds) with CITI BANK LONDON. Recently,my Doctor told me that I have limited days to live due to the stroke and cancerous problems I am suffering from.I have decided to donate this fund to you and want you to use this gift which comes from my husbands effort to fund the upkeep of widows and charities worldwide. I took this decision because I do not have any child that will inherit this money and my husband relatives are bourgeois and very wealthy persons and I do not want my husband hard earned money to be misused.Awaiting your urgent reply. With God all things are possible. Your Sister Mrs Rose Smith
  16. Ngonge, From my previous posts you can deduce that I think you’re being hypocritical in stances for Riyaale and against the Sheikh. For a man who has stated, for example, that SL are correct in arresting individuals and sending them to Ethiopia, tried to justify it and continues to support the current Admin who are responsible for the same, it comes as rather surprising that you have in the space of 5 months seemingly produced a lock, stock and barrel case against the Sheikh. When all is said and done I know that whatever the Sheikh has done you actually have no problems with. Would that be correct? ps your first post reminds me of Rafa's rant
  17. Does this mean no more 'air inshallah' between Djibouti and SL? To be replaced by new planes?

  19. Raamsade said: I would also like to speculate as to why religious people vehemently oppose evolution theory out of all the other scientific theories that contradict what they believe? My believe is that evolution theory is the rapier the through the heart of religion. Other scientific facts can be explained away with generous interpretation of religious texts. Bro Nur gives a good example of this with his tendentious interpretation of the Quran to find support in it for the Big Bang theory. I disagree with this; and digressing a little would caution against this practice because science is inherently tentative. So what passes for accepted paradigm today may change tomorrow. What will you then do? Reinterpret the Quran in light of the new evidence? Evolution theory on the other hand can not be easily reconciled with the religious texts. Religions go into extreme details about the origin of humans and their narrative is in contradiction of the current scientific understanding. You’re above argument is heading into a cul-de-sac. ‘Religious people’ AS WELL AS many non-religious members of the scientific community oppose the evolution theory because it has failed to stand up to the many questions thrown at it from all quarters. Yet, somehow, you believe this THEORY to be fact and continue to champion it even though science itself (not just religion) has managed to challenge it (with no answers to-date). Now, unless you’re prepared to try and answer those questions for us and the gallery, your argument for evolution will be considered futile. Furthermore, your urgency to throw away Nur’s very pertinent question on the scientific discoveries post revelation only demonstrates your inability to articulate a robust response. Science does not need to accept revelation as you put it. All it needs to do is accept that the revelation was correct or had an element of truth to it and all you need to do is accept that the Quran has not changed in over 1400 years (or, if you want to be picky, in your lifetime at least). Now, a question for you: Do you accept that the recent discovery by scientists that the world is still expanding was foretold in the Quran? See verse 51:47.
