  1. Oo qormaad dhalatay? Arabs are divided yes but can't they sort themselves out after all these years? The US, EU and Israeli excuse is that they change governments. If anything is to be achieved they need to iron out their differences. They are as much to blame as everyone else in my opinion.
  2. Israel is always out to buy time stalling any sort of progress but the Arabs have also plyed their part. This blame game they seem to enjoy needs to stop. What else does your crystal ball tell you, saxib?
  3. Bal warama Hello Juxa Heard a strange Somali problem solver last night. A kid who has shuban has his fangs removed (ilko dhawaco??) with some sort of nail and string procedure and apparently that stops the shuban  Dadku walee wax caawiyey ubaahanyihin
  4. Net's speech was actually progress. The world now knows what it's demands are and that they wholly unreasonable. The Arabs need to utilise the world media and get them on board then sit down and NEGOTIATE with Israel. Blanket rejection of Israel's demands will get you nowhere. Compromises will be required from both sides.
  5. I choose to come from the legal/factual angle. France is breaking her own laws and is going against the very values it has been championing. Secularism and secular states afford it's subjects the luxury of practicing religion. The wearing of the Burqa/Hijab is someone practicing her religion (whether or not you agree with it is really irrelevant here). LG and Co. have so far failed to reconcile Sarkozy's comments with the very same secular values they are advocating in light of my above comments (also posted on the other thread). Surprise me folks

  7. Not necessarily against , unless you equivocate on what freedom of religion coveys in our Secular Society that is. Last I knew Secularism = Freedom to practice one's religion without any qualifications. If you think there are qualifications, please provide them. If not, this discussion is over. ps I haven't got into Human Rights and the constitutions of secular countries yet
  8. Let me put this 'debate' to bed shall I? In conclusion, Sarkozy's comments are actually AGAINST the very same values he thinks he is trying to uphold (and LG believes in) and France has become renowned. Furthermore and considering the above, the Burqa, REGARDLESS whether or not you like it or agree with it, is a voluntary (some say obligatory) act of religious observance. This falls under the FREEDOM OF RELIGION bit just in case you was wondering LG. LG and Johnny I'll take that as concessions from both of you. Have a good night!
  9. Just answer the question. Does secularism include FREEDOM OF RELIGION (we can get into details after)?
  10. LG, what are secular values? Does it include FREEDOM OF RELIGION by any chance? No need to discuss the Burqa when your calls for embracing secular values includes embracing FREEDOM OF RELIGION. Ee by gum, as we saw up norf. You seem timid LG. Not like you.
  11. ^oops LG, secular laws should be adhered to right?
  12. LG, Stuff iyo maalayacni (just as I 'thought')

  19. ^She is asking for it to be banned! LG, is this a matter of taste (you find it unfashionable, lacking modernity, not in line with today's secular states etc) or is it because you think hijab and burqa is not necessary for Muslimahs?
  20. ^Have you picked up the accent akh kid?

  24. Another chronically ill fraudster Dear friend, This letter may come to you as a surprise due to the fact that we have not yet met. I have to say that I have no intentions of causing you any pains. My name is Mr. Stanley Alan John, a merchant in London, but taking treatment in Dubai, now I have been diagnosed with prostate and esophageal cancer that was discovered very late due to lack of caring for my health. It has defiled all form of medicine and right now,I have only about a few months to live according to medical experts. I have not particularly lived my life so well, as I never really cared for anyone not even myself but my business. Though I am very rich, I was never generous, I was always hostile to people and only focus on my business as that was the only thing I cared for. But now I regret all this as I now know that there is more to life than just wanting to have or make all the money in the world. Recently, I use to say to my self that if God should give me a second chance I would have live it differently way from how I have lived. I was meditating on my hospital bed and something told me that God is giving me a second chance by keeping me alive though doctors said I won?t last long. I know my time is near, that?s why I have willed and given most of my properties and assets to my immediate and extended family members and as well as some few close friends. I have decided to give alms to charity organizations, as I want this to be one of the last good deeds I do on earth. So far, I have distributed money to some charity organizations in the U.A.E, London and Ireland. And I have also met two people on the net who have helped me distribute money to charity organizations in their country. Now my health is deteriorating so badly,I really need you to help me distribute the last of my fortune. You might be wondering why I did not ask my close relatives to pick over this task. But I once asked members of my family to close one of my accounts and donate the money, which I have there to charity organizations in Bulgaria ; they closed the account but refused to donate the money to the organizations, some of them even fled away with some of the money while the rest shared the remaining among money among! themselves. From the way they are acting around me tells that they want me dead so that they can talk about inheritance. Hence, I do not trust them anymore, as they seem not to be content with what I have left for them. The last of my money which is a huge cash deposit that I have with a security firm abroad will be put in your care if only you will agree. I want you to help me collect this deposit and dispatched it to charity organizations and let them know that it is I Stanley Alan John that is making this generous donation. I am writing this from my laptop computer in my hospital bed where I wait for my time to come. I pray for you to support and assist me with a good heart. But the choice is yours. Please you can contact me through this email address :js_alan@yahoo.cn Be blessed my beloved, Stanley Alan John
