  7. ^Indeed. Odd or even doesn't matter. Could any of the last ten. 20th tonight. Originally posted by *Ibtisam: But I know on the 25th, 27th and 29th everyone and their granny turns up and the regulars end up praying on the stair case. Thats just the way it is,,,,,
  8. What if Laylatul-Qadr is tonight? It's been my experience, I don't know if you've noticed it as well, that when the last ten nights starts, many people are slow to realize it. Masjid Taraweeh attendance doesn't normally pick up until the 24th of Ramadan. A reminder for you and I: WHAT IF!!! Laylatul Qadr is tonight? Will we be ready? I want to take advantage of every night of the last ten nights! It's too precious - the reward of 1000 months is too great! With best wishes to see you succeed at the highest level! - Muhammad Alshareef www.PostRamadan.com Coffee at 2am

^Don't bother. This isn't UK. Today is the day!!!
  10. ^Fair enough. That I agree with. However, my bone of contention is with the Atheist premise that evolution is 100% accurate/infallible and it is how they came into being without them having ample evidence/proof. In the same breath, they are adamant that God doesn’t exist because science can’t prove it. Why then, if science is the only way they wish to determine the issue, do they sit on one side of the fence and not ‘on’ the fence itself? I haven't had a suitable explanation to date.

I fell for it as well when living in E London. After a recent meeting with HMC (halal monitoring committee) I can confirm that the chicken served by "Halal" nando outlets still is not halal. HMC personally inspected the slaughterhouse of Freemans and came up with this conclusion. My point of contact is Haroon Rashid. Their chickens are all electrocuted, the power is that much that some of the brains explode and so do nerve endings. They don't do ziba as the chickens flap around too much and it leads to their wings getting damaged. This is definately not halal and not the way that Allah says to treat these animals. An extract taken from The Guardian website on the issue of fast-food taking the case of Freeman's who is the supplier of Nando's. "Newent sits in folds of lush countryside at the far western reach of the Cotswolds... hidden from view, is Freemans of Newent. Clifford Freeman and his cousin own this poultry abattoir. It is the largest halal plant in Britain, employing more than 250 people, slaughtering 300,000 chickens a week, and after considerable persuasion and hesitation Freeman has agreed to show me how it is done. The birds are collected from farms at night, transported to the site in the early hours of the morning, and kept in darkness until they are ready to be killed. Workers hang them upside down by their feet in shackles, suspended from a conveyor belt, or 'line', which then dangles them through an electrified bath. Their heads are submerged, and a high-frequency current in the water stuns them. The line keeps moving, taking the birds on to the slaughter area, where three men are standing ready to cut their throats". 13. ^They should remain illegal with Khaat in UK also made illegal.
  14. ^Good post. However, I think you have chosen to be overly diplomatic towards the nay sayers (a good thing). Unfortunately I don't have such attributes (an evolutionary miss??). Maybe if I did we would get some progress in this discussion.
