  1. Are we talking about Somali women? or all women. I can't list them all, they're just too many things. I'd rather write a book about it .

  5. Freedom = Xornimo Equality = Wada sinaansho. So, you can't have 'wada sinaansho' before 'Xornimo'. Simple as that.
  6. Star light ... my search for love continues sis...how are you nowadays? Somaliprinces...sister ..that was beautiful ..just beautiful .... though it is late .. welcome to somalia online
  7. I don't think there is a reason why we should ask someone to hang with somalis if he/she is running away from the Somaliness. I have seen few Somalis who think they are better off with non-Somalis, but then hey! thats their choice. I have a choice and i made my decission only to meet up with my Somali brothers/sisters. Most of those who think it is an improvement to be with non-Somalis are predominantly girls and they are simply weak. I don't think we should bother them to join us. Who needs them anyway? Coz we have very highly respectable sisters on our side and we can affort those who opt to run away from us, we have girls who know what Somaliness is. And those are the ones we must be proud of. Just a thought
  8. Cutie Cutie. That song has great meaning. It combines many things and many instances, experiances and feelings. I just love it!
  9. This poem is set to make someone realise that she is the one special person. She is admired charactor, loved for her beauty and praised for her personality. The poem is like a wake up call to her, to look at herself and see how beautiful her qualities are.

    Why not...?

What do you guys think if Somalia Online becomes a website that carters for all students all over the world? Like if it collects all informations about Universities, colleges and even other institutions, so that all students can benefit from new updatings? Most of those student organisations who do exist have no websites. Some exceptional organisations have homepages but they are not updated regularly, or there is no updated information. What do you think?

    Why not...?

Abdinuur, This is a good question. the UK have an Organisation called SSA (Somali Students Organisation) and few days ago we met up to get to know each other better. Today we are holding a meeting for all the Association's student memebers and non-members. The main aim of holding this meeting is to get ready to celeberate the SSA's second anniversary. I think all students should have one wherever they are ...It only helps, it never hurts.
  17. Muraad sxb. You are absolutely true to favour EQUALITY over FREEDOM, but what if the EQUALITY you have is an EQUALITY in misery and pain? Lets say there is an EQUALITY but that equality means that you must be equal with everyone who is suffering under a colony. So, by choosing EQUALITY, you are choosing to be of equal right with everyone about everything. For example, if you are told that you will be treated EQUALLY like everyone else, like a colonial subject. Would you then want EQUALITY of that sort? I know EQUALITY is as important as FREEDOM but atleast if i have freedom then I have the freedom to either implement EQUALITY or INEQUALITY.
  18. Shyhem, Litres, gallons and all other measurement words belong to us, the Englanders. And when it comes to Mr-Bushman, we really don't regard him as sane let alone a hit, we are debating amongst ourselves upon a motion called "Is he really foolish and insane or the other way round" lol . So, I suppose you can read between the lines.
  19. Muraad abaa, I think equality only comes after you get freedom. The slaves which the author of this thread mentioned first fought for freedom and only then did they start thinking of equality. Coz a slave cannot be equal with his master unless he is free right? So that is my explanation.
  20. BARWAAQO, i think we should wonder and wander together!
  21. Freedom ofcoz. It doesn't matter wether i'd be equal to Tom ..Dick or Harry coz Allaah gave me equality in his own way. Being equal in the human quality doesn't have a meaning at all. So ..me choose ...freeeedom ....freedom
  22. Ameenah, and I'm wondering! who may that Nomad be?
