^^Sxb we call it a discussion because it looks and flows with the shape and form of a discussion. Im sure this is not the type of exchanges many people would refer to as 'a discussion', but remember the exchanges you see on this board are referred to by many Somalis as being the best Somali discussion there is now on the net. Marka sxb it takes decades to go beyond the rigid stands and to open-mindedness. It takes time- much more than we are willing to give it . Xiin, Lol. War adigaaba wax ka faaidey meesha sxb. Khudbadii odeyga anba weli ma dhageysan, doonina maayo in aan dhageysto runtii. Odeyga Allaha qabriga u waasiciyo unbaan ku duceynayaa.

Best we leave this discussion on this point before it spirals down to the depths of filth. Easy now boys, ease up!

One good thing she did was to live up to the reputation; afterall she's a blonde, just as we love 'em. Better yet, she is an American. Brits will laugh their teeth off .

^^People are only too eager to discuss certain serious topics at a certain age of their lives. After a while, detailed and seriously thought-out discussions become a bore. You would expect younger aged debators to replace the huggered old fire-brands. In SOL's case, seems that isn't the case. The old are expected to repeat themselves while the young re-introduce previously discussed topics. Elders shouldn't be subjected to the crime of repeating themselves- that should be a capital crime. PS: Maybe pedigree horses (or women) would make such an interesting and serious topics . I am being light-hearted here .

Waxba ma oga these little girls. Only if they were brought up with the white stuff they wouldn't be talking pasturization or even disrespectfully 'spatting' out the noble milk

Lily, I am not taking the piss, it really is a gory affair. It envolves getting so hooked up to the rythmic chants and chorus of the woman, leading to the unsheathing of a double-edge abley or torreey and then deeply slashing it across the left hand, till the flesh departs into two clean fatty parts divided by a deep slash that had cut all the main veins- resulting a heavy gush of blood that pours like the water pipe. After all the blood is drained out of the guy or if he is lucky his friends tie the hand tightly, the burur fellow falls to the ground like an heavy log. Might recover in few weeks' time -when he does the slash becomes a symbol of honour and bravery- but if not, he might never recover and fall to this death. Sometimes the burur is so intense that the fellow might wrongly shove up the torreey in bizzare places (i.e. a!se!) ) PS: Yeah, I heard you and co. were starring at that wedding. Indeed, I guess we missed each other by seconds- ofcourse I didn't even have good eyes to see who is who-I was terribly jetlagged. Next time, eh?

Err, sexist monkeys? Urm, thats a defamation of a whole species, innit? I mean come on Guevara, whats this generalization all about? Just because few juvenile dilinquents touch the chest of a woman doesn't mean the monkeys are all doing it, is it? (Sorry for the outburst, I am just a new recruit of Friends of the Apes )

Lily, its a bloody act, trust me. You are too young to hear the details . Maybe Faarax Brown can tell you about what burur is in a more subtle manner. Like shuuxshuux or xamxam in your ear. My words are geeljire-flavoured, they don't come any subtle .

^^War ka daa, lily would vomit soon as she downs a gulp... waa ciyaal kalluun iyo baradho Lily, lol why don't you give 'em a try, you might just love it- though you would have to pass the test with few vomits or constipations or at worse shuban in the first few days

^^Lol. Caano geel oo dhay ah! . I like the sound of that. In Nairobi a german fellow has opened a factory that packages caano geel oo dhay ah. Very tasty but they don't beat kuwaan haaneedka dul taagnaa markii la lisayey ee ay weelku xoortiyo caanuhu xarfanayeen .

I don't know what buraanbur consists of, waxaan umalaynba in islaamaha iska un buuqbuuqaan with any word that comes into their word.. Do you ladies know about burur-saar? Lol. I bet some of you do. Its a bloody business, I tell ya, mighty bloody...

^^Adeer that is what happens markuu cawaan fowqal cawaan talada la wareego. Waxaa imaneysa in rayidka aan loo aabayeelin oo si axmaqnimo ah loo gumaado! Shame!

Adeer dhuunta ma dhaafsiisana dhaarashada dadyowga qaarkii. So long as the decleration remains verbal then it is all good to them. However, when a paper is produced onto which names are signed, most folks retreat into making the excuse of 'beri horaan ka xorowney'. Anigu been sheegi maayo wixii xaq ah cid waliba (qabiilkeygaba haka mid ahaadee) waan ku taageerayaa balse wixii intaa dhaafsiisan Allahey ka Alle.

Let me go on my own The unlit, invisible road, that slithers Intently into the dark wilderness, Of bygone times of gory histories, It is this road and only this road, That is the very single road, On which I travel on my own accord. May my beloved she-road unravel Whatever twists and turns she must. May she wind down steep mountains, Or let her roll herself rough and rude Across a deep and fathomless valley; Whatever kind her protests in nature be, This she-road after which I gladly tow, Wherever she wills or dictates to go, Its there where my legs would take me She, my road, is the ancestral glue, That holds together ancestoral threads Of forefathers whose revered names, Are echoed through history's vacuum, In which when she speaks I loudly hear ! There exist no eternal tombstone or Tougher mountain rock lasting than her Into which I may deeply chisel my name. Only she is my road to an existence Blessed by the past and present And gladly welcomed by the future She is the one from which to gain, The knowledge and secrets of life That informs the will to hold on to life. So please do not cross my she-road, With dripping daggers of your words, Which in envy roll down your tongues If you’ve already deemed me delirious, Now is the time to leave my foolish heart, To the troubles of my lonely journeys!

^^I think it is the view that the chinese are the alternative to the Indians' expensive business dealings in Nairobi. Somalis are increasingly taking over all market the Indians use to dominate with the help of cheap products that appeals to Kenyans, Tanzanians, Ugandans and Sudanese who shop in Eastleigh. The Chinese thus are the providers of these cheap commodities the Africans recquire most. On the developmental side, almost all new road projects in Kenya are being undertaken by the Chinese and in return the kenyan government has granted the Chinese the access to explore for oil in the Somali inhabited areas of NFD. From the look of it, the Chinese are successfully appealing to Africans who don't seem to have any suspicion towards them whatsoever. The Chinese are now in every sector of the economy in some African countries...and ever expanding. PS: The Chinese appeal is due to their investment approach. They don't have any political conditions unlike Western investors. Their's is only economics-oriented, which makes African governments only too happy.

^^A new phenomenon in Eastleigh, Nairobi is the sight of Chinese business agents inside the shopping complex buildings writing down orders. They only require a fraction of money and soon as they reach shanghai, the Somali shop owner recieves a whole container of the goods he needs with little cost. In nairobi-wide the chinese presence is ever increasing-the same is the case with Mombasa.
