Indeed saxib, indeed :D

Why is 'kh' changed to 'q'? Yacni 'Khalad' is said and spelt as 'qalad'? Ya akhi is ya aqi???

Norf, there is no "kh" in af soomaali, try to get one word oo "KH" ka bilowdo in pure Af-soomali.

khilaaf, Khamiir etc..

For southerners "Har" is shadow, but the Northerners they call it "Hadh" while "Har" to them is a lake. laakin taas aya ku saxan.

Afka ciyaalka xaafada Af-Soomaali toosan maaha. Slang weeye waa Street language, marka in Af-Soomaali lagu khaldo maaha.

Blessed

Personally, I grew up exposed to both so I've no problems understanding either dialects.

The issue of misunderstanding here is not of dialects or regions. it's clear that some of you af Somaaliga dhan aa jiq idinku ah, dee. icon_razz.gif

p.s It's not two langauges but two dialects from the same language. There's no such thing as af reer waqooyi/ koonfur those dialects aren't like Af May or Af Baraawe which have different phonological structures to Af Somaali.
