MoonLight!, I am now concerned that the August 20 deadline will not be met. To acheive that I think the international community needs to threated all the three levels in the same way. All of them are spoilers. Not the only spoilers but the main ones. In my view they and Farmaajo should be all barred from running for presidency. How can they do run when there is a big allegation against them which claims that a large sum of public money was misused by them and their offices? That is very unfair.....The IC shouldn't ignore this thing. I fully support that warlords are removed from MP's candidate list and I also suggest taht thieves and corrupted leaders should be removed from the presidential race. I think the so called election committee overstepped . they may have be forced to reverse their decision barring some individuals. This is a witch-hunt ...Somalia is not at the phase where criminals can be held accountable. We are in a transition period. Even Qaybdiid is about to become a leader for an entire region and community . Why target Dr. Cabdicasiis Sheekh Yusuf ...while Sharif Ahemd is the president.? I do not believe this nonsense of a handful of people behind closed doors making decisions serves Somalia well. Our objective should be to move beyond this transition. Abwaan Posted August 17, 2012 Xiin I disagree with you over here. If we let the same people who destroyed the country lead nothing will be acheived in Somalia. The same cycle will go on and on and on. Why do we have to stick to these guys. We could get a lot of people who can lead Somalis with peace and prosperity. I am pro change. I would rather have few individuals behind closed doors decide as long as this is based on fairness. It is not like we just lost dowladnimo few years ago and that we should try and regain it at any cost. Somalia is messed up by it's own people and by foreign governments namely the our neighbours, that have been interfering.
