MOGADISHU (Cihan) –Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag attended groundbreaking ceremony of Mogadishu Airport in Somalia on Saturday.

Turkish deputy premier arrived in Somali capital of Mogadishu on Saturday.

 

During his visit also, Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag will lay foundation of a hospital to be constructed by Turkey and be in informed on education, health and infrastructure projects in Mogadishu.

 

Bozdag had a meeting with Somali Prime Minister Abdiweli Mohamed Ali.

 

After the meeting, Ali said that they appreciated Turkey's efforts and assistance for Somalia.

 

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Somalia drew attention of the world to Somalia, he said.

 

Bozdag said that they would work to provide better living standards to Somali people.

Beautiful picture showing beautiful ppl . I hope ppl of Hamar peace and prosperity. I left Mogadishu Feb 1991 as a child and crossed the border to Kenya Sept 1991 and never went back to Somalia since .

 

I hope will go back there soon , to see my beloved city Xamar and my ancestral land of Upper Jubba inshallah.
