To the Moderators,

I think the rules of the site need to be updated to reflect the actual way we do business these days. I think we should say
" personal insults against any nomad is not allowed, except in the instances this is directed at Abtigiis. Those who insult Abtigiis will be promoted".

Somehow the understanding seems to be because Abtigiis is a bad person, insults against his person is ok.
:D

Adigaa bilaabay caay iyo af-lagaado, adigaa haddana cabasho iyo dacwo modka ugu hor maraya?? It doesn't work like that waryee. Mr. Qaabdarro stop being narcissist.

This Tiiceey fellow, without raising his flag, seems competent.

On the serious issue of impressive Somali leaders, we have not seen any since the late sixties. The environment is such that only crooks thrive, and the capable folks find themselves on the fringes of society. See below, and be the judge:

Pre-Siad

1. Aden Cadde

2.Sharmake

3. A. H. Hussein

4. Egal

5. SYL

6. Sayyidka

7. Gurrey

Siad & post-Siad

1. Siad

2. Caydiid

3. A. Yuusuf

4. Cali Mahdi

5.Geedi

6.Cumar Beebe

7. Mukulaalow

8. Cambuulo & Bun

9. Shariifka

10. Sakiinta

lol at Somalina throwing everything and the kitchen sink.

Ticeey is an impressive leader. He's done quite a bit with limited resources. He actually has a good track record that can be pointed to. He is trusted by his constituents. It's these sorts of individuals who would make good leaders at the regional/national level in Somalia. When you do good for your own community you can be trusted upon (hopefully) to do good for the country as a whole. instead what we have now are leaders that parachute themselves in with no track record and simply a desire for power/money. Witness Geedi, Faroole, Sharif Sakiin etc etc.
