I dont what the calculation of the coalition against the ICU was, but it was miscalculated move for them to send Barre to capture Kismayo alone and also so early stage. They have clearly failed and now Barre is on the run and his forces either captured, killed or scattered at best. The hold of the ICU at Kismayo is now strong and solid, at least Barre Hiraale is no longer a threat to them. According to this site: http://www.waagacusub.com/22.10.06.1.htm Barre Hiiraale resides in Gubato and states that Bu'alee is under his rule whilst the Maxakiimta state that they have succeeded in defeating the forces of Barre Hiiraale. Paragon Posted October 22, 2006 Juje, sxb something id amiss. I'd be cautious to believe in the reports coming from Bu'ale. There seem to be a large scale propaganda campaign from both camps. And although I have support for the UIC, I think they are spicing up the reports for our consumption. Likewise, the Barre camp is not innocent of such propaganda - however after listening to an interview in Halgan.net, I have my doubts whether the UIC are telling us the whole story. A sahan of Barre's collided with the entity and then escalated into large-scale battle. I am betting that spokesman for Barre denied the war prior to the escalation.
