Will they really leave? We will see!

^^That's misleading adeer! The timetable for withdrawal will start as soon as the terms of the agreement are signed by both groups. That has not happened yet.

The internal is qab-qabsi within the tfg delayed that but IA it will happen. Once that takes place, the count down will start.

^^Yes indeed some would want to have them stay. But the withdrawal of Ethiopian troops is amrun qad qud-liya. Xatman! The real challenge is how to prevent somalia going back to what it was before and get the relevent parties agree on a political framework.

Now we have good Sharif understadning that important point, this useless collection is dropping the ball! Why do we care if they internally fight? Because we want to cash whatever scrap value it has---and it does has some significant value within certain international settings.

That's that.

But to count the passing of the 120 days before it even starts is grossly misleading.

Was the timetable dependent on signature?

^^ Only in Xiin's world. The rest of the world was given the impression that the agreement was in place and the countdown started when that agreement was reached. Or else, what was all the euphoria about?

@ norf, it is dependant on this:

quote:within a period of 120 days of the signing of this agreement the TFG will act in accordance with the decision that has already been taken by the Ethiopian Government to withdraw its troops from Somalia after the deployment of a sufficient number of UN forces."

^^Saxib the agreement was signed back then. Its been 90 days or so. I highlighted the sticky points back then and the UN has already offered it's excuse for no deployment of forces.

Unless Xiin can point out something else, the wheels started to roll back then.

30 days to go.

:D

Has it started in your hood yet?

That aside I dont really think holding out a 'timer' for the Ethiopian occupation will make sure we see the end of their tail in anytime soon. There are many reason contributing to their presence same as the reason that led to their invassion - and if one side of the Somali are up in arms for their immidiate withdrawal and curse their invassion there is the other side of Somali who eggs for the utter opposite.

Hence for all you guys with the stopwatch the problems are on your foot, or backdoor or where everelse you would rather have it - pause your stopwatch and innitiate an element or an enviroment where the reason and calls for their evacuation is strong and logic in substance.

The notion am righteous and all the others are infedils brought us to this point -and no one is buying it anymore, even those in arms together under this banner innitially are in a fracas among themselves at this time and day in Bakara market.

Xiin,

According to the agreement, what happens if the Ethiopians haven't left by the agreed upon date- irrespective of when it started or will start?
