What a genuine question Tone. Mate is equivalent to saying ‘yeah babe, o be-have babyâ€

Fukk it, threads like this really throws me over board maan,

You know what else gets under my skin. You walking down the hallway with your cup of coffee, this strangers that you always pass by, in and out the work sees you with your morning coffee and says “hey where is my coffee?†to make a conversation I would presume, but that really leaves me/you with nothing to say back not to mention the forcing of a smile and the awkward feeling. For once I would like to be able to say ‘fukk, I don’t even know you, so leave my coffee out of this.’

Zafir, don't be afraid to say 'Get your own'. Or better yet, look evil, then they never look at you again.

there is no elegance in the word mate.

Tru, mate is like the gay version of pal or buddy. Mate = buttbuddy.

^Akh at butt-buddy. Utterly gross. Buddy is more like a butt-buddy, wouldn't u say? ;)

Men at work call me mate sometimes and it gets on my nerves. Usually it's the kind of man that calls a woman a bird.
