  1. ^ this is funny. glad to see some of them understand the relationship between cause and affect. Though the document does not mention the Iraq war, it accepts that foreign policy can trigger a sense of grievance that can lead to violence. It urges officers across England and Wales to "effectively address grievances", and says: "This objective is not for the police alone
  2. ^ the fellow in the pic is not so bad, whatever else you may say about him he was loyal to his country a patriot in a sense. and he was not our problem, why do the Jews insist upon making him the bogeyman for everybody, granted he killed alot of them so what ??? they definitely do not have my sympathy how much more tretourous can you get, when you invite the xabash army into our country.
  3. ^ exactly what is the problem ? some people want to have a sex change operation, and they justify it with lame analogies. this is perversion of sharia ! (no pun intended)
  4. ^ maybe the style of the specific hijaab being used can be traced to cultural sources. like Somali women who wear the umbrella style hijaab, and the Abaya worn by some arab muslim women. but the idea of covering up for modesty is religious not cultural, unless they arabs before the prophet's time used to wear the hijaab.
  5. you are right, but my comment was with regard to people who choose to follow only parts of the religion that appeals to them and apologize for and make excuses for parts which they don't like personally. The paper I mentioned was about a local sheik who took issue with 'Qisaas' and 'Xad' saying things like it is outdated, it is not of this time. I dont expect anything positive when i see Islam + 21st centry + women rights together in a title but i may be wrong .......... let's wait n see
  6. ^ that is not what i meant. but to most Americans you are already a terrorist/fanatic apologies won't change that. The extent some people go to get publicity, he certainly does not represent all maryooley's that is the crazy part
  7. ^ I dont seem too hopeful but will hold back on judging until it is released. “We want to bring out the positive side of Islam — that promotes personal honour, human rights, justice, morality, women's rights, respect for the other,” the religion is completet does not need modernizing or updating, it's principles hold true for all time and places. I find it arrogant to the point of Kufr, that someone thinks he/she can improve on what Allah has set down and the prophet has narrated to us, do they somehow think that Allah and his messenger did not plan ahead ??? or foresee the new technological/social problems that would be introduced in the future. I'm just ranting cuz I read a BS paper a while back written by a so called sheikh about modernizing islam, but will wait and see what these guys have to offer.
  8. ^ a true politician, after 8 years of the dyslexic *****, who has provided enough comic material to keep people laughing for the next decade. In an emailed statement, a St Paul, Minnesota-based lobby group, the Somali Justice Advocacy Centre, said it had demanded an apology from the Clinton campaign over the photo affair. an apology for what ??? , the world has gone crazy
  9. if you see a somali women with a beard and shaarbo and when you ask she tells what..........this is just xaad. you have a diana user,
  10. ^ if that is correct, these are two unrelated incidents because the original fault was not that of youtube. Pakistan Telecom was advertising a route to youtube with a more specific mask, that entry somehow made its way onto the routing tables of a handful of the highest level BGP routers (internet backbone). In other words for a brief period when any browser requested www.youtube.com the request was being diverted to Pakistan instead of the rightful owners of the address youtube.Their intentions were most likely to only redirect internal (within pakistan)traffic intended for youtube. Pakistan bans youtube sounds much better as a title but is not correct technically , this is just a problem of scale, their traffic engineering efforts went beyond their intentions, the fault partially lies with the upstream providers because a single ISP should not have had this capability.
  11. ^ it is a very confusing reer xamar slang means laga roone
  12. Khayr has a good point. There are provisions for people who are born with hermaphroditism in Fiqh in issues that are relavent to Gender such as Inheritance , Qisaas etc. but for a healthy man to be changed into a woman there is no excuse, and why is that the norm while you hardly hear woman changing to men ???
  13. I heard that this problem is also exists in India, Pakistan and Iran. In India and Pakistan the government pays for their housing because they can no longer live with their families, but on Thursdays they are let loose into the general public for tuugsi
  14. This revealed a critical weakness in routing structure in the internet at the highest level possible. A system previously built on trust, guess that won't fly anymore. most likely they were trying to prevent internal traffic from getting to youtube but they affected much more.
  15. ^ that's right they are not very keen on the scienceengineering fields. there is only 1 white guy in my class and everyone always asks him.... if he is from Russia/Ukraine they are less than 2% of the dept. including faculty and students

    DEXTER

never heard of it......... watched a few episodes after this post seems interesting.
  17. JB that story is well known in the northern regions of somalia especially by young men. I dont think I have ever heard it in xamar, that is maybe why you havent heard of it. let me be the first to warn you, if you see a beautiful women with hooves... be careful you might wake up in a very painful state
  18. ^ it reminds of a funny story at uni. there was these two girls debating, one was talking about bringing women rights to the Muslim woman and using the hijaab as a symbol of oppression. The muslim girl spent more than an hour trying to explain that NO she is not brainwashed and NO she wears the hijaab by choice nobody forced her to wear it. what the other girl could not wrap her mind around was that someone would even consider walking around not half naked. at the end the other girl concluded that the muslim girl must have been brainwashed so young and so thoroughly that she actually thinks she is doing it out of her own free will
  19. ^ glad to know it wasnt just my memory playing tricks on me. as to the topic..... The FGM thing really baffles me some use it as a badge like some model mentioned in one of the other posts. some girls say it is horrific, terrible and others tell me it is not a big deal  so i really dont know. I am not really worried about it until i become a father and have to personally deal with it hope to form an opinion on it by then
  20. ^^ sorry to get off topic but The name Kooco as I remember from my youth was. a beautiful jinn woman with donkey hooves who seduced you and tookes you to a castle where you spend the night with her. In the morning you wake up, with your bloody **** inside a rusty tin can lying in the garbage dump.
  21. ^ must be my ingriis. inay bahasha bug tahay waa la socdaa sxb. lakin mar-mar waxay soo qoraan qosol ayaan la raftaa. that particular one brought tears to my eyes. waayo sheeko kale ku soo xasuustay.
  22. ^^ I know it still makes me laugh though.
  23. This article made me laugh all morning. I didn't want the paramedics to find me in a lingerie store by myself and have everyone think I was some kind of pervert," Mull said. "But I just didn't have the strength to go back and drag her body along with me." "I had to keep going," Mull continued. "I prayed to God that I'd find the Champs Sports store, or at least the Best Buy, before it was too late. If it was my time to go, at least I could go in front of a 52-inch LCD flat-screen HDTV." This guy must have some nomad blood in him, reminds me of my uncle who got hit by a stray bullet (wiifto) in the gut and came home had lunch took a nap, at Asar prayer he asked to come whit him to the pharmacy he was getting the bullet removed.
