Masha'allah waa wax ilaahay laga baryo cimri iyo cibaado suuban. Waa qof ilaahay yaqaan oo barakeeyay, allah usiyaadiyo. Its funny how he traced the chain list of the Sheikhs to Sheikh Abdulqadir Jilaani He reminds me of my Aweewe.

I don't get the question. Also as this is your first post and in politics section, are you making a stance in solidarity the with anti-Puntland camp. Welcome to SOL, you have a lot of comrades and definitely won't feel lonely.

struggling to start a thread. could this be the end of 'our' alpha?
Qandalawi replied to Alpha Blondy's topic in General
Is it because of the family commitment? I was hearing a while back that you were getting married. I know people change when they get married, so you are mature, devout and responsible person now. -
^Its blunder that has happened which Turkey just realised. The delegates that went to Turkey are only from one side of the TFG I heard, Aala Sheikh are too damp not to even include few individuals from here and there, waxkasta waa dhankooda Loool ... The other two sides of the TFG ayaa xataa yaabay, Sakiin and Gaas and everyone else iyo wixi kale oo dhanna are gobsmacked.
-
It seems Turkey entrusted this and the invitation process to the Ala Sheikh as the head of the state of Somalia and expecting them to behave responsibly. Everyone including this TFG wing, Puntland, ASWJ and Galmudug were expecting Ala Sheikh to also behave responsibly and include delegates from all sides of Somali politics but they ignored and neglected everyone but their side. That's pure silliness and knowing Somalis and their hot bloodlessness they will never accept it but only prolong their muscle stretching power struggle. Now I heard Turkey has intervened and is putting doubts on the behaviors of those entrusted to fairly manage the delegates. Let's wait and see the end result insha'allah.
-
So now the TFG is also against what's orchestrated in Turkey. The problem is not Turkey, lets not blame Turkey for sinister agenda's of some wicked groups , its a section of the TFG probably Aala Sheikh wing ( not sure though) that are trying to trigger another unnecessary and reckless conflict among the Somalis, everyone is complaining about the same thing, the plea is genuine it looks. In the wake of the few weeks left for the hope of August for Somalia and the reestablishment of a permanent government, I hope another conflict within the TFG doesn't broil out. Let's hope everything is resolved abruptly.

^Hadal ninwayn, kuwaa kudigasho iska bilaabaaya. KoK Sxb a job well done you have been a great fighter and this ban was harsh like I said on a different thread, so just take on the chin like manly man, you made an impact indeed.

One soldier down for the separatist movement of PL, the young man was full of energy and entertaining. Also, I like this political statement

^Lol, don't get too excited Adeer. The whole shenanigan is part of the political process and Turkey knows it, SL did it before and now its not only Punltland but all the other Somali political wings except the TFG. Stop the exaggerations and the melodrama, this is a small issue that will be solved in due time. For those who wish to pick on Puntland and Faroole, continue and get on with your dramatic remarks

Somali peace foremost priority, says Davutoğlu
Qandalawi replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Indeed, the Somali peace should be a foremost priority. -
The wishful thinking of PL haters group. Turkey is an influential nation with huge interest in Somalia, they will not pick and choose one Somali group or region over the other and they don't want to be seen siding with groups and neglecting others, nor will they fall for the low level thinking of Somalis. Turkey's agenda for Somalia is conclusive and holistic, it has a strategic agenda and alliance with Somalia for the long haul, and willl not be tricked to be sucked into the dirty clanish Somali politics. For that reason, they will do everything they can to convince Faroole and eventually bring him on board. PL is too big and massive Somali constituency to be ignored yaa Dabrow. You must know that.

Faroole is a fool for rejecting the Istanbul Conference on Somalia....
Qandalawi replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
I doubt the whole reason is Turkey's focus on Mogadishu, this is just an excuse. None of it was a concern for Puntland/Galmudug just a week ago, all of a sudden this has become a big issue, it doesn't add up. There is more to the story than we know but overall I believe Faroole will ultimately attend conference after few consultations and discussions with Turkish officials. -
Ahlsuna wal jamaca is not attending the Turkey Conference.
Qandalawi replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
This is now more than a boycott, its what I call Turkish fever, Ahlul Sunna catches the fever. Its an organised rebellion against Turkey's involvement in Somalia it seems, perhaps something big that we don't know is cooking up, any gamblers? -
Faroole is a fool for rejecting the Istanbul Conference on Somalia....
Qandalawi replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
^I really don't understand what united PL, Galmudug and now AHlul Sunna Waljamaha and the TFG wing you said were almost about to make a statement condemning Turkey over this issue. I'm still searching for the main, real and significant reason they are boycotting Istanbul, anyone? -
Somaliland is part of Somalia and the only reason its attending this Somalia conference - I'm stating the obvious, right?
-
The Turks have every right to do things in their own way or push for whatever agenda they wish, I don't think they are allied to any group or sub clan. Perhaps they are concentrating on Mogadishu and rightly so, its the capital and the main city that any foreign country will look at if they want to be involved in Somali peace and politics. However, Mogadishu has ceased to be a Somali city decades ago and became a sub clan dominated capital is not the fault of the Turkish. This is a contentious issue and a debate for another time and a different venue among the Somalis, to move the capital to elsewhere or allow all Somalis to have stake in everything equally such as political seats, development and business. Balse Turkiga in lagu eedeeyo ma ahan inay Caasimada wax kaqabteen ee waxay tahay in lagu amaano, Caasimadeeni haday iyadu noqotay meelay intaas mushkilad kasocoda oo bahalo galeen oo waxkasta laqaysa reerna isku gooni yeelay waa ceeb Somali utaala una baahan inay wax kaqabtaan oo Somalida kawada hadlaan, I was one of the proponents to move the capital to a different city even if it has to be temporarily. The other point is, why are we getting all angry about Turk's involvement even if their pushing for their own agenda regardless of our desire when IGAD and Ethiopia are our masters. Ethiopia does in Somalia anything they want, they support/oppose anyone they like, enter Somali a and captors Somali cities at will and push for any god damn agendas it wishes. I have never both SL and Puntland protest against Ethiopia's involvement. I'm for Turkey doing whatever they want and conquering the whole country. Ethiopia way haysataa meesha Turkiga maxaan kudiidaysiin inay wadanka iska maamushaan amaba qabsadaan gabigiisa.
-
I can't listen to this, what did they say and what is their main reason?
-
I don't understand the rationale behind this move by Puntland and Galmudug. Unless they know something we don't, there is no clear enough reason to boycott the Istanbul Conference from both groups. Turkey is a powerful and influential state that means good for Somalia, they may not have good understanding of the Somali politiking and conflict or may not be interested at all and want to push for the agenda but boycotting the conference or storming out of the discussion is not the answer, disagree with them but remain firm in your position and work with them.
