  1. ^But what is offensive to people no matter whether be it, religious slander, denial of the Holocaust, or as in this case wild claims of Somali genealogy and other things (the list is long), is offensive to people and have a global phenomena. One should not be allowed to exercise the right to offend above and over the right of others not to be offended.

Take for example the story D-block Shiekh up on tree refusing to come down unless he lands on someone-very offensive and no history to prove such man existed. Adiga hada hagalin bad kale, yaan lagu xirin ee ukaadi. Also you are stack with this particular story and I'm speaking in general. Rules should be applied to everything whether its something you personally agree/disagree with or not.
  3. The younger generation does not condone this nor understand the logic behind it. Its only the older generation that are still stack in the past. With time things will change Insha'allah.
  4. Wiil, all that doesn't prove that you are a man as females can do that too. Prove your manhood mate! Its very had to prove unless you take mustaches and beards as proof, if not then, its, mm ,mmh, wallaaaa
  5. What a stunt, the whole thing is hype - exactly what the Americans do. It seems the Somalis are learning quick with this 'Special Forces Tag' despite the misfortunes of the war. Wadanka ilaahay nabad haka dhigo, Afrikaan badan waan ubooteen doonaayee

  7. Whats so good looking about those pictures, waryaa waad ikhiyaantay, I was looking forward to a beautiful scenery, landscape and the magnificent farms of Afgoye. All I saw was guns, militias and armored vehicles, few old small corner shops in a scary street with poor people selling things to make ends meet. Its not so the images I perceived.
  8. ^ Stubborn I'm still waiting for mine.
  9. Masaafayso = run away pride - or running away with a pride. Some of the Somali words are incomprehensible unless provided in a context. Kurtun
  10. ^Use, utilize or make use of ... Kaalafooto
  11. Its not as if the TFG had any credibility anyway, or any Somali leader for that matter. We all know their level of fraud and corruption. The report was not big deal.
  12. Carafaat kees iska waalka waa lagugu yaqaan. SL waa dhul nabad iyo hormar kajiro, taas la iskuma diidana, but on the political side, their whole political policy is fueled by and based on reminding each other of Afweyne days, the SNM mantra and Koonfuria is coming to get us. Somaliland taasi dan ma ugu jirtaa weeye su'aashu? Anigu waxaan qabaa Somaliland inay Siyaasadaa noocaas ah kagudubto, sidaas ayaa fa'iido ugu jirtaa, hadii kale waxay mushkilad ka abuuraysaa dadka wada daggan Somaliland.
  13. Che, I'm serious Sxb, I don't believe in the theory of 'One should have the right to offend', that's a western lie you are forced to believe. I'm a man from the East, I don't believe a man should have the right to offend everyone or all. A limit should exist to restrict one's freedom and not be limitless at the cost of many or all of the people.
  14. ^Is she Somali? Naga qaleey sxb midaan Somaali ma ahanee.
  15. ^Saaxib, I take you are well meaning and good heart-ted individual. But go and talk about Somali politics without clan mention. Allegiance to the clan or Admin is different from abstaining clan talk in Somali politics.
  16. There must be a limit to everything, the man has crossed the border and must be tamed. This is more like a blasphemy, no less than a life sentence should do.
  17. Good development. Moon, what's your problem mate, Somalis have got nothing to lose whatsoever in this.
  18. True to that but isn't it sad that despite Barre's death and the long gone history of the SNM, the SNM mentality and anti-Barre slogs are still alive in SL. Reality in check.
  19. ^Saaxib, kaadi iskawaalka iska daaya, truth be said, you live under the same SNM mentality and anti-Barre regime slogs of the nineteen eighties. Things have changed since SNM and Barre days, reality is you haven't. FACT.
  20. lool @ gacantaada waa leefeesaa Nice one and lovely girl.
  21. Carafaat, all I'm telling you is to look at the title of the thread and the content contained within the initiators post. Tell me if that is a view shared by all. It shows the whole thing is based on the SNM bravado and restricted and confined to one clan. Like I said before, Somaliland = SNM, and this is a chapter that one needs to overcome for the sake of greater good of the Somalis that live in SL.
  22. Stop abusing and corrupting this innocent girl. Leave her in peace and let her be with her family and allow her to decide whatever she wishes together with her mother. Who are you to call her mother evil? That's the best advice I can give you.

WHY didnt you tell. I was like why, miyaad kuu so qosli lahedy! You got me on this one, I must agree with you. All along I thought the whole thing was fiction. I'm wondering what's got to Alpha's mind, oh yeah, he has always been the weird one in SOL.
  24. Carafaat, in Somaliland the SNM struggle is on a full swing, the victimhood mentality still reigns supreme and the hostile policy towards the south is still as it was back when Barre was in power. These are things that will not be agreed upon even among all the people that settle in Somaliland.
