  1. Win or lose, I’m empress with the Heat. They are really balling with bigger and tougher team. As far as the T-wolves are concerned, this is were they get off the train. They had a good season and KG was spectacular throughout the year but I think the Kings are better and bigger, plus they are more experienced. I pick the Kings in 6. Bad *** faker got beat up yesterday like a run away donkey. 78 total points are disgraced to a team built to win it all. Spurs are the ultimate championship team, one super star and punch of role players who knows their places in the team. Can you believe the only All star in that team is TD. I pick the Spurs in 6 as well.
  2. Here are my predictions for the first round: East: Detroit over the Bucks in 5. Detroit is my pick out of the east. I also think they have a good chance of doing it all. They have a winning record against the western conference teams and their front court is as good as any one. They also play great defense. Pacers over the Celtics *(sweep, the Celtics stink) Nets over the Knicks in 6... because of their guard play in Maybury and Houston, the Kninks are capable of stealing couple. Heat over the Hornets in 7....I would take the Hornets any day over the Heat however, no Jamaal Mashburn, no glory for the Hornets. West: Kings over the Dallas in 6...not only the kings are that much better team but also the Mavericks are DONUT. They really can’t stop any one. Lakers over Rockets in 7...I don’t think the Rockets are that bad being down 2-0 and the Lakers are that good. Game one was the game the Rocket should win in order for them to win the series. Spurs over Memphis in 5...Tim Duncan, need I say more. Mr. Fundamental is going to bring it as usual. T-wolves over the Nuggets in 5....I think Anthony is worth one game and he should.
  3. Here are my picks: KG for MVP My rookie of the year is Anthony. Yes, LeBron is the better player but that isn’t what this award is all about. Anthony has bigger impact on his team than LeBron. Just look at the conference he is playing in. My Most Improve Player is Michael Red. Coach of the year..... H. Brown Sixth Man.....A. Jamison Defensive Player of the year.....Ron Artest.
  4. Whuz up LaziG… You have raised a lot interesting points and I agree with you in some of them. I really like your basketball IQ and the passion you have for the game. you will make a great wife someday. However, I couldn’t disagree with more in CWEB and the king’s situation. Please don’t say the kings are better team with out him. That is like saying the Sixers are better without AI. Regardless of their current record with him in the starting line up, the Kings will go as far as CWEB takes them come to playoff time and that is when it counts. Lets talk about the sixers… I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t compare Eric Snow to Sam Cassel. Sam made Kenny Smith expendable in Houston in his rookie year. Yes, he didn’t play in the all-star games (before this year) and didn’t get the glory he deserved but he has something most players don’t have, Championship rings. Eric Snow has a sorry *** game. He can’t shoot and he can’t penetrate and dish. You don’t have to make passes like Isaiah Thomas used to make but make decant penetration and dish off some times. The assist you talk about with Eric snow is way overrated. Most of those dimes came from leaving the ball for AI in desperation key moment when Allen don’t have the luxury to drible and create his own shot just because Eric Snow chewed up 20 seconds of the shot clock. He walks when the team wants to run and as fast as AI is, you have to run with him to be effective. Yes, I agree with you he plays good D. but in expense of decent offense. You need your point guard to complement your shooting guard and vise versa. I play ball in the local playground and no one stays on the court in extended period of time by playing defense. I wonder what the hell Snow was practicing in the playground growing up. He can’t shoot and he can’t play over the rim. The bottom line is he stinks. Yes, Big Dogg has to go. Marc Jackson on the other hand is a good low post player. I watched him in college here in TU and I watched him in the Pro with the warriors. He has a good work ethic and he can score in the paint and he good rebounder with the best of them. I don’t think you have seen him played at the beginning if the season when he was healthy. Speaking of DC, how about keeping him and let him come of the bench for 10-15 minutes. He can still shoot. Finally, AI is hurting. Trust me he is hurting and if he wasn’t Allen wouldn’t shut up about it and the Sixers would have been investigated and fined big time. He is the biggest draw in the league and a lot of people buy tickets to see him on the road. Speaking of the team making the playoff as tribute to ALLEN's heroic career with the Sixers, that is not really the case. Some of these guys including Snow actually think they are better team without him and willing to do whatever it takes to prove that Sixers don’t need Iverson to win games. That might be well true but that is the wrong massage to sand by deliberately exposing your super star by standing around and watching him do everything, yet come to play when he is out of the line up. I wish you were here listening to local media dogging him every second of the day. They conveniently forgot what he has done for this team and this city as well as pathetic Snow’s career. P.S. Don't worry about the Lakers. They are not going any where.
  5. Ladies and Gentlemen, Lets get one thing straight. The Mavs don’t belong the same category as the rest of the west heavy hitters such as the Spurs, Kings, Lakers and T-wolves. Speaking of the kings being Soft…I disagree with that notion. Last year CWeb get injured and without CWeb, no chance. The year before, they were cheated by the league big time. The way the NBA operates, it was obvious that Stern and the league didn’t want to see two small market teams in the finals, Nets and Kings. They wish to have the Lakers, Celtics and Sixers every year in the finals if they could. All that been said, I think the Kings and Spurs are the two teams to beat in the west, however don’t under estimate the East. There are some teams like the Pacers and Pistons that can make a lot noise in June. Spades, Lol….I don’t need to pray for my team. I acknowledge they stink! BTW, what happened to the Somaliland flag? Lazi.. I agree with you that Cheeks is the answer to the coaching situation down here in the city of brotherly love, and it is done deal that he is coming here next summer. He wants to be here and the Sixers want him that is why he got the two years extension with the Blazers last year, so he is coming. Speaking of big man. We really need one. With the development of Samuel and his defensive toughness I think scoring power forward will be the answer to our problems. Speaking of Shareef, he is not needed in Portland and he is unhappy, with cheeks coming here why not try to get him too. P.S. I heard you sis, it will be great to see them in the playoffs with their injuries and all but with the beating AI is taking here in Philly is unbelievable and I don’t want to give them the satisfaction of dogging him more just because pathetic Snow and Ford made the playoffs without him. Some times I wish he were traded to better situation. . and yes the Celtics stink.
  6. Pray for my team you mean or pray in general?
  7. Finally, something that will make sense. I’m sick and tired of coming here and seeing nothing but ****i- soccer talk. LayziGirl, I share your passion with the Sixers and I have mad love for AI but lets be realistic. What good will come out of them making it a loosing it in the first round to the Pistons or the Pacers? I rather see them not to make it this year and take a chance in lottery in this summer. As a die hard fun, it hurts me seeing them struggle night in and night out. They need a real big man that can score down low in the paint. Yes Marc Jackson and KT are ok but I need CWeb type of player that will complement IA. Big Dogg is good player but not great and so as KT but neither one of them is respected post up player in this league. Allen doesn’t need wing player to help him score. That is his game. He needs some one he can throw the ball to in the paint and give it back to him when the double team comes. Shareef will be the answer if they can obtain him from the Blazers. Speaking of the east I like Detroit and their defensive mentality. The pacers are deep and can beat anyone. The Nets are done, JKIDD is way over rated. Western Conference, Kings are the team to beat. Yes, T-Wolves are nice and all with Spree and Sam but the Kings are battle tested. Can’t count out the Spurs. They get the best player of the league and they are defending Champions. The Lakers are fraud and Hate their Hollywood mentality o=anyway. NBA Finals: KINGS vs. PISTONS.KING
  8. Trust me, he will be back.

PlayMaker, Robinson Used to be great center before TD was drafted. Hakeem took his heart out of his chest in 1995 and retired with it. Speaking of KG, I really love KG but he is not TD. He is a great player but you have to admit he is not the type of player that will carry a team. He is not a scorer and he doesn’t have the killer instincts that TD posses. Minnesota is doing great this year because they have good guards in Spree and Sam that can do the job. Let the record show that the Spurs never had any so-called super stars other than TD in both of their championships. McNabb is a good but not a great one. He went to the championship game three times in a row and lost them all. Yes, he doesn’t have a good receivers however, his individual performance were average at best. That is why I call him overrated. We can agree to disagree

Lets be more objective here. Spurs are not overrated. They just won the NBA championship. Isn’t that the ultimate goal? And TD is the only Power Forward to win a championship. Karl Malone couldn’t do it. Charles Barkley couldn’t do it. Chris Weber can’t get healthy and KG is still laboring in the first. I think Phil Jackson is overrated and Keyshan (throw me the ******* ball) Johnson is way over rated.

THE MOST OVERATED SPORTS IS SOCCER FOLLOW BY GOLF. The only reason Soccer is famous around the globe is because it is so cheap to play. What do you need? ball and a flat ground.

The most overrated team is nothing but the Philadelphia Eagles. Mediocre receivers. Average running backs and very suspect ofeensive line don’t even get me start it with the front four defensively and coaching staff. The most over rated players: McNabb Jason Kidd

Play maker,That is cold man. How dare you compare me to that sub human individual? About the game yesterday, it was great game to watch for all the NFL fans out there. Donavan played great game precisely his running attack was second to none. He really took the game over and put his team on his back congratulations to him and the Eagles. However, you must admit the Packers had the game won and let it got away from them. I mean how often do you see Favre making a mistake like that. Yeah, he has the tendency to throw up and let his receivers jump for it but this wasn’t close. He made a bone head decision at the end. That poor receiver wasn’t any where near to make that caught. In addition, the packers played conservatively. Their Couch ought to be fired along with the Rams’ Coach. P.S. I live in Philly but I am going with the Colts for obvious reasons. How about you?
  14. There is no difference between raping some one and killing some one. You literally have to be insane to commit such crime. I don’t believe the notion of women asking for it just because she looks and dress certain way. I think it is premeditated act. People like that must be institutionalized. I hate Rapists with passion. I can’t imagine what would I do if any one does anything like that to any of my dearest sisters. BTW, why would any one wants to rape some body when there are women everywhere who are willing to give it to you for free? You can even buy it if you are that desperate.

The Vikings with their running attack type of offence was exposed by non other than the worst team in the NFC, the cardinals. The Vikings proofed the fact that home run offense is not always the answer. Yes, it is exciting to watch. As a fun I love to see Daunte throwing sixty yard TD to Moss down the field but you need a balance attack offence to win in this league, which the Vikings failed to employ. Don’t worry though. They will be back. No, I am not Vikings fun, just objective observer. Playmaker, I wouldn’t bet on the Eagles. Their receiving core is very suspect and Donavan is not a big game player. He seems to be very confused out there under the spotlight of the playoffs. He tries to do too much and his coach doesn’t help him either. They only get by because of their defense I think the Rams are the team to beat. P.S. How about Donavan going to the pro-bowl with 16 TDs and 11 INTs and 79 QB rating. That is 79 out of 158 folks. This proofs how corrupted the pro-bowl selection is. That is why no one watches it. It is nothing but a popularity contest.

The Vikings are very had team to figure out. They switch gears so quickly they are so difficult to follow. They are hot and cold with a blink of eye is not even funny. You have to be consistent in order to be successful in this league. They are in the weakest Conference in the NFC and they have the most talent. They shouldn’t be fighting for a playoff spot. Forget about the packers, the Vikings should be the favorite to win in their division. Hands down.

I have been watching this guy since college. Every catch he makes is incredible. He is just that type of player. He could have been that much better if he had Randal throwing to him instead. God I can almost see it 50 TD per season. How cool is that? BTW, I am not Vikings fan but I recognize talent when I see one and Moss is definitely unique talent
  18. Nike is not the only guilty party of child labor practice. All the major manufacturers in America including Nike were relocated to overseas for the same reasons. On the same token, those people really need jobs so they can feed their families. One quarter maybe too little to us but it goes long way for these folks.
  19. Bachelor, I understand your point. Your argument is based on moral issue however, such thing doesn’t exist in corporate America. Pure capitalism is criminal way of life. That is the system being employed here in States. No one cares the poor and the unfortunate individuals. That sounds harsh but it is true. With that in mind, I think these athletes WORTH every penny of the money they are getting. They are selling products because of their name recognition why not get the maximum amount of reward for their fame.
  20. They are both below average in Somali standard. LUCKY would smoke them both with her cloth on.
  21. It is all about supply and demand. Sports are very large part of human lives and people are willing pay huge amount of money to be entertained. I am happy these athletes, black ones in particular, are finally being rewarded for their hard work and don’t forget their ALLAH given talent. Remember, there are only few people in this world that can do what do and they should be compensated for it.
  22. Is the current Somaliland government incompetent? Yes. Is the action they took regarding this matter accurate? Yes. Are the people of somaliland supporting this effort? Yes. No one shed a single drop of tear for the average Somaliland citizen when they were destroyed in the hand s of these so-called Somali brothers. Somaliland government are not killing or torturing any one and there is no ethnic cleansing going on in Somaliland. They politely asked these individuals to leave and go back their homelands for security and economical reasons.
  23. It took the lakers two over times to beat the Spurs without Duncan and Parker. How about Payton demanding more playing time afer losing two games in row to the Hornets and Grizz. This is the begining of thier problems.
