Happy Ramadan Z and all of you sport lovers out there. Signing GP was a good insurance move. He ain’t no glove no more……more like a SOX these days but he’s still good for 20 minutes off the bench. This Heat team is good on paper but we have to see how they cope with each other on the court. In my opinion, they ‘re the second best team in the east behind Detroit. Speaking of Riley, he has a lot to prove since he hasn’t won shyt since 1988 with the Lakers. He failed in NY and also in Miami as a coach. Now, if he sees this Heat team as potential championship team around December or January I expect him to insert him self as the coach. I just don’t know if that is a good thing. He’s one of the most over rated coachs in the history of the NBA along with Phil Jackson. Some coachs must have 3 to 4 superstars to be productive. He is one of them. Casro, Sorry man no fantasy basketball for me. I find it very time consuming. I done it one year and that was it for me.
  2. Football is about strategy. One has to understand its tactics to enjoy real football on Sunday afternoon. Soccer is nothing but a kick-ball. I find it very boring to watch on TV.

Whuz up Z Jwill is quick. There is no argument there. The question is how do you expect Shaq and Walker to run with him and finish the break. That is why I was saying half court point guard who can slow the game down will work better with the Heat’s offensive scheme. As far as shareef and the king, I think they will be okay. They still have Mike Biby, Pedro and Miller with Kenny Thomas and big nasty off the bench. They will make the playoffs. Lazi,wave...where have you been hiding these days?

Z I’m glad Shareef isn’t with the Nets. They could have been real good had they signed him. C’mon man, the Blazers were bad team when he got there. It wasn’t his fault and of course the Hawks and Vancouver were horrible as well. I think Shareef is the most under rated baller in the NBA. Jwill can’t penetrate and you know that. He can surprise some of the slower PG in a fast break situations but I don’t see him making “comfortable†living in penetrating and dishing out time after time. I don’t think he’s that capable in that department. I agree that dude DJ19 that you love so much last year was one dimensional player. He was exposed in the playoffs.

Z, That team you guys have over there will be very slow half court team with Walker and Shaq in the post. I don’t see Jwill standing still and directing traffic. You need Bravest Knight type of point guard to maximum that team’s ability. Good luck though. The Heat will be very good team. We’re excited here in the city brotherly love. Yes we’re not as good as the Heat or Detroit but the Sixers will win the Atlantic hands down. Willie Green situation set the team back a little but they will be fine and fun team to watch. Very fast and very athletic….. Sammy, Andre, and AI must be one of the quickest and athletic group in any team in the NBA.
  6. I like this topic… very honest and str8 forward right to the point. Okay, I don’t chitchat a lot of folks in here but there is one girl I had a crush on from the day I joined SOL. She is arrogant, funny and flat out opinionated. Some thing about her ill way of talking to people drives me nuts…that is why I couldn’t keep her out of my head. She and I became very good friends. When you get to know her guys, she is totally different person..still arrogant but different with huge heart…. did I say she is sexy as hell as well… Ms. I’m glad you and I have became better friends for the past year or so. Like I said before I think you’re great individual and I have great amount of respect and admiration for you. Keep in touch and never go stray.

Finley signed with the Spurs so as Nick Van axel...Sorry Z but I'm glad he ain't no Heat. Whuz up Z, Your team made a lot of moves during the off season but I have one question bro. How JWill’s style of play works with a team that plays half court offense? I mean the dude is very exciting to watch but he has street ball skills. Do you think he is the right point guard for this team? Be very objective man.
  8. ^^^What are you gonna do, bite it off from the map? You can dispute it politically but yes Las Anaod is part of Somaliland, has been and always will be.
  9. No Redskins might improve slightly this season but they won't surprise anybody. I predict another AFC victory, perhaps the Stealer and if the Colts get home court advantage they can pull it off too....you can't count out the Pats either.

Child, Cweb is the best passer big man in the league (check the status). He also average 19 and 10 last year with one leg. Tell me how many PF in the league done that..no too many. He started working out two weeks after the season was over and he will come back better than ever watch. About AI if you enjoy basketball you must love AI. You don't have to be sixers' fan to acknowledge greatness in small package. He represents all skinny under size ball player out there Can you measure heart. Ask Shaq and he will give you the scoop. BTW, I thought you're Spurs fan an hour ago!...Whuz up with you and all this we talk about the knicks?

C’mon Z ..The Sixers are one year WISER not older. You know if that team was coached right last season they could easily won another 7 games. Mo will do just that and this team will be good. Like I said before, Cheeks will employ in side out offensive scheme where Cwebb will initiate the offensive attack. KK will go back to the bench where he belongs and will do wonders beyond the arch with ease. Andre, the best player in last year’s draft, will play SF full time. They need BIG PG that can run along side of AI and they will be fine. Yes the Sixers signed all their free agencies but they’re also in the hunt of other free agents like any other team. It ain't over yet. The heat will be good if they land stoudamire and Dixon. They will be huge up grade to last year’s back court in Djones and Dooling but there won’t be a championship parade in Miami. Enjoy the season couz. LB will help the Knicks. There is no question about the guy’s ability in coaching. However, the whining and the constant complain about who didn’t play the right away and who doesn’t have “it†among other things will drive New Yorkers crazy. Good luck!

Kwame needs fresh start and this is his chance to show the world that he belong to the NBA and the hype that made him the first high schooler drafted number 1 overall. The down side is, he will be coached by Phil Jackson who can’t teach shyt and he will have a teammate by the name of Kobe.

Lol@PS Child did ya check if i made any spelling mistakes too...Capital that was funny. Child, Let me say one thing and one thing only..PLAYER DON'T TRADE PLAYERS NOR DO THEY SELECT PLAYER IN THE DRAFT....They can influence the decision process and have an input but, no franchise on earth will let a player dictate their financial and future situation. Don't believe everything you read little boy. He (LB) tried to use AI as the scapegoat after he failed miserably and it backfired. Every single player I mentioned was a personal friend of AI, except Jerry (they only played one year together). Larry didn't even take the time to see how well they could develop together. Same with Larry Hughes and Tim Thomas. Neither one of these guys played more 2 seasons with Sixers. Larry Brown wanted to trade AI to Detroit for the same player he traded two years prior (Jerry Stackhouse) how ****** . It almost went through thank ALLAH for Geiger’s contract. Did you say AI was mad because Larry Hughes was on the cover of some magazine? I don’t believe that for minute. He used to call him his little brother. He was his Fly brother mate on the court and they hanged out all the time (you getta live in Philly to know the scoop). Besides, AI appears more covers than any other basketball player in his career. This isn’t about AI or the Sixers so lets stick with the topic. Speaking of Van Horn, He was a Sixer and Larry Brown traded him to NJ before he was traded back to the Sixers 5 yrs later. I guess you didn’t know that, did you my child? I know you just want to sound informative but you can't rewrite LB history nor will you understand basketball and how to make constructive criticism instead of being jack asz negative creature against everything. I’ve never seen you taking a point a view in any particular topic and developing your idea. Learn how to debate son. PS. I'm waiting for my report card interms of spelling.

Once again, Larry Brown is on the move….now what. I won’t be surprise if he takes the Knicks job. He is a great coach and a good teacher but a lousy general manager. As long as Zeke keeps him in a short leash and limits him only into coaching activities like Joe Dumars did in Detroit the knicks will be fine. They have a lot of young players who need guidance and Larry is the best in terms of teaching the game. You can’t take that away from him. With that being said, I can’t stand the guy. I think he is selfish and he has no loyalty to his word. His destructions cost the Pistons a championship. He also destroyed my beloved Sixers with his ill way of evaluating talent. He traded away all of our future super stars and didn’t obtain equal values in return for single one of them. From Tim Thomas to Larry Hughes to Jerry Stackhouse to Theo Ratliff and Toni Kukoc, Bruce Bowan. In return the Sixers Received Tyrone Hill, Dekembe, Aaron McKay, plus some other garbage, role players that I don’t recall at the moment. Don’t even get me started it with his draft history with the Sixers. Every time I see Paul Pierce my stomach turns. I can’t help but to visualize how great he would look with the Sixers uniform along side of AI. Good luck Knicks fan....

Child, Just correcting my spelling, that is it? You ain't get nothing more to say? Yeah I thought so...I suggest you to grow up and be man….oh I forget, you’re a child as your name indicates. Speaking of the Sixers, I never said they're gonna win championship this year but I'm sure they will make a lot noise and trust me Willie will be in Sixers uniform.

Child, Incase you haven't noticed, I was Sixers fan from the day I joined the forum and I spoke about it countless times. Read on child… War waxan yaryaree xagee laga keenay ma suntii ayaxaa...adigana ma tan yarbaa kaaga cabaadisay...like I said to the others , grow some balls and learn how to repond to her instead of bad mouthing people around here. Play, I know the dude has a sick talent that is why I said the deal was made. I think he will make Stephan expendable. They're already shopping around his asz.

Z and teh company, Let me say this first. I’m a HUGE fan of ZEKE. Have been since his days in Detroit and always will be. I think he is a great businessman and he has a great imagination in basketball. He will do wonders for the Knicks fans and he will bring winning attitude to the Garden. If any one can convert Stephan and motivate him to play team basketball, it’s Isaiah Thomas. Do you know ZEKE once scored 16 points in 94 seconds in playoff game against the Kninks?…I just thought I should share it with the kids up here that watch basketball for the sake of the highlights (Lake). Lets be honest Kurt for Q? I don’t think Isaiah would do that deal straight up. What makes the trade acceptable is the additional draf picks NY gets, Midget Robinson in particular. Q is one dimensional player. Everybody knows that. Kurt on other hand is a banger, though defensive player and strong rebounder. He also has a decent offensive game. Players like him don’t come to the league that often. P.S. for those of you who think Cwebb is washed up watch out. The style of basketball that Philly will employ this season will benefit Cwebb in great deal. It will be inside out offensive scheme where Christ will initiate the offense and let it develop from there. AI will be the ultimate beneficiary because the zone defense will be ineffective with the ball out of his hands early and getting behind screens. The Sixers will come back with improved Andre (the best athlete drafted last year) and Green will get his minutes behind AI. KK will go back to the bench where he is more effective. He has the ability to change the flow of the game with couple of quick threes. And there is Sam in the middle…. BTW, the kid the Sixers drafted was the best high school basketball player in the country last year. Since he refused to work out for teams, he didn’t get drafted early. He will be special player in the near future. The Sixers don’t need him to make immediate impact. That isn’t what he was drafted for.

lake, Stop all this girly talk shawty and quit being so defensive like a little *****. This is nothing but a public forum. You’re taking this way too seriously. Lake, Just because I agree with her instead of your clueless argument doesn’t mean I kiss up to her. This is a free speech environment and you’re entitled to your lame pathetic opinion so knock your self out but don’t expect others to like with you’re saying. In my opinion, I think you know nothing about the game of basketball... Never played it and definitely you don’t understand its dynamics…so don’t try to run with the big bulls you hear…every time you open your mouth, fart coming out of your mouth not words. So chill and take nap little boy.

Whuz up Capital, I like your passion that you have for your team but whuz up with all theses “WE†stuff. Do you own a share of the Heat if so, would you hook a bother up? I know a player of TD caliber would change the complexion of a team within a season or two but heat didn’t have the #1 Pick, two or three in the draft that is why I was saying who the Heat draft this year will not make or break the short term future of this team. The Heat get lucky drafting Wayne Semien. I think he will be very good back up in both forward positions however, don’t hold your breath in Woods talent. The guy came in with a great talent but never materialized it in the pro. Speaking of the coach. You saw what happened in the eastern conference finals. He was simply out coached. Couching the east all star has nothing to do with his talent. The heat had the best record in the eastern conference that is why he got the call not because of his talent in coaching basketball. I still believe the Heat’s chance was this year and that window of opportunity is closing down fast. There are other teams breathing on their neck and Detroit still has few more years left in them. Good luck. Go Sixers.
